--Weissland Army Enters from Ledek's Span--

Mordus winced at the gust of cold air which struck his face at the exact moment he decended from the cloud line; trees fronted by the buildings of Fargon in the distance, and the snaking column of refugees, soldiers and wagons directly below.
Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts for eternity.

((This is the road that goes north, running beside the river that borders Sirth's western side.))

--Enters from Ledek's Span--

The colum was moving at a good speed. Mordain was impressed, to say the least, that after all the people of Weissland had endured they could still muster the strength of both body and will to keep up such a pace. Then again, fear was often a powerful, driving force.

Atop his black horse, he held his staff high and summoned a spell sphere. He cast the magic into the air, willing it to seek out Shaellana. With the Lord Castoden returned to them, there was no need for her to still be searching.

((Sorry Sweed; was talking with Lathaon, and it really does seem like a big jump to go from Ledek's Span to Fargon in one go. Would people please alter their posts so that we are here instead of in Fargon?))

((Also, if any Admins read this, could you please change the topic name so that, in the sub-title, it reads "Between Daulinen and Sirth"?))
"Stand against me if you must, for of course you will. Conflict is just another part of this flawed reality. You need to cling to your concepts and purposes, your feeble honour and glory. None of it serves any purpose in the end. And the end draws close." - Krodalis Thaendil.

"It really is amazing; she killed Kelan Wealer, not that I am complaining, but then the order welcomed her as their new leader. It makes one wonder if I were to ram a blade down her throat, would the monks then follow my commands?" - Mordain Thaendil.

One of the Last Guardians. Suck it.

((Double post, screw you Ariakas :P))

A Seeker approached Mordain. "My Lord, as I wandered the camp I encountered something which I thought you should know."

"Oh?"

"I found a Realmer in shackles, apparently for attacking a Weissland lord."

Mordain stopped his horse and turned to face the man. "Take me to him."

The Seeker led his Lord down the colum. Heads were bowed, more out of fear than anything, as Mordain passed. He knew that it would take time before the people of Weissland would come to accept him for what he was; half demon.

After some time, they arrived at the scene where the Realmer was being kept in chains.

Mordain recognised the man; he was a Warrior of Mjolnir. "Justin?"

Justin lifted his head from the ground. A short laps of surprise marked his face as he beheld the person in front of him. "Lord Mordain," he said, voice low and husky. "They said you had left the army."

Mordain dismounted and walked towards the man. "I had, but have now returned. Tell me, why are you being treated like a prisoner?"

((Is Justin still in shackles, yeah?))

((I realized it is not much sense to him being attached to a pole if the army is on the move, so he's in shackes but tied to a moving wagon or so I presume instead))

Justin laughed, "You did not hear? Well, I suspect I'm insiginifcant considering you're in a war and on the run and so forth at the moment."

He shrugged and turned his face forward, "I ripped Lord Arthious out of his proud saddle and would most likely had seriously injured the man had I not been knocked out and put in shackles." He chuckled again, "Precautions I guess."

Moving forward, Mordain tore free the cord that kept Justin tethered to the wagon. "Why are you in Weissland?"

Justin stopped his walk and stared at his broken bonds. Then he looked at Mordain. He had hated this person during the war against Weissland. But somehow he realized now that this person was not the enemy.

"I am here to find Ariakas," he said.

"The Loremaster was with us in Ataya, where he fought alongside myself against the Dark Lord. However, as we made our way across Ledek's Span, he asked to leave the army. I allowed this, and marked him with my seal to allow him free passage. He told me he was returning to the Realm." As Mordain spoke, he gestured to the Seeker, who brought forth the key to unlock the shackles around Justin's wrists. The shackles fell to the ground.

Justin stroke his wrists. He shooks his head not trusting Mordain's words. "No, are you certain about that?"

"You are a Realmer, and the war between our lands is over. At the peace talks in Thunderton, we spoke of trying to rebuild the powerful alliance our nations once shared. I have no reason to tell you anything but the truth."

"Well, he would not return to the Realm yet," and as he remember something. "Has he been to Kuren?"

"Yes," said Mordain, nodding, "he travelled there with Lord Mordus before the Battle of Kuren Pass."

"He did not leave Weissland," Justin said. He turned his face to Mordain again, "Could you please tell me where the army is moving and how far away the enemy is?"

--Entering from Ledek's Span--

Nathaniel Drakkon rode near the centre of the column. He had been travelling in silence, a silence which he was enjoying. Unfortunately for him this silence was broken as mage lord Tidurion rode up beside him and said "Hello again Nathaniel. I heard you were in the rearguard battle, why are you not dead?"

Nathaniel looked at the elven mage, narrowing his eyes, although Tidurion did not seem to notice the expression "Ah, mage lord Tidurion. I was in the rearguard battle, but clearly my presence here indicates that I'm not dead."

Tidurion nodded absently, looking ahead of him at the column. He said "Yes, you do look quite alive. But how? I thought Vedgar was the only survivor from the battle?"

Nathaniel replied "Well, life is simply full of surprises."

Tidurion replied inquisitively "And you my friend, seem equally full of surprises. I wonder..."

Nathaniel said abruptly "You wonder what?"

Tidurion seemed roused from deep thoughts, and mumbled "Hmm? Oh, it doesn't matter. Nevermind."

"We march to Asulien. The enemy, however, are far closer than I would like. But, once the whole colum is across, we will burn the bridge north of Nevir Wood. That should slow them down, if nothing else."

"I thank you Mordain for releasing me," Justin said. "My last request is if you could tell me where I could find my sword. If you know who would have taken it."

"I would expect it to be in the possession of whomever is responible for your imprisonement in the first place." Mordain paused. "Will you search for the Loremaster? Because I would ask that you remain with this army; we could use every fighter we can get, and your sword makes you worth more than many of the men here. You would be a great asset."

"I think it was one of the mages. Grey-bearded fellow dressed in black robes like you used before," he said. "When it comes to my coming actions I think I must do my duties and track down my Commander. I was travelling with a fellow Warrior of Mjolnir, a very young man, but I believe he has already left. We got separated when the rearguard and refugees were attacked and I came to blows with Arthious."

"Grey beard and dark robes? Mage lord Andros, perhaps." Mordain turned quickly on one Justin's former guards. "Was it mage lord Andros who authorised this man's arrest?"
