Andrevn and Fasten did not respond at first.

Ash spotted a lone figure sittin on a wooden chair just outside the lantern's illuminated area. Ash was not taken by surprise at the appearance of the figure however, taking it with calm nerves.

The lone figure spoke, with a voice belonging to that of an old man, "The procedure is quite simply my friend. You will not regret this meeting."

James stood silently watching the figure.

"Should you ever feel agony for the loss of your Brothers due to enemy guns, bear through it with a stern smile and let your enemy know that you will get into combat soon enough. His judgement cannot be avoided!

Should your charge falter under heavy resistence, roar your devotion in His name and amount whatever strength you have left at one enemy point and crush it utterly! Let the enemy feel your pain by turning their's into agony!

Should you lay beaten and dying on the field, laugh with pride for even in death our enemies will fear us, leave them with a scar that will haunt them till the time of their retribution!" - Chaplain Valorus

Ash said calmly: "Who are you?"

The question was necessary, although Ash had a feeling he already knew the answer.

The man's face was partially hidden in shaddow. He was dressed in boots, and had a white shirt with long sleeves. A grey, short beard surrounded his face. It grew along the lower portion of his chin and followed the jaw line. The man's hands rested against his kneecaps.

"I am the one you have so far known as Fizban Dantares, my friend," the man smiled. "You have come here, as the stars and planets has predicted to us. You are at journey's end. No longer will we demand anything more from you. You are the one who will receive answers now."

Both Fasten and Andrev stood back now, silenting watching the events unfold.

James looked at the man who had spoken and wondered what the hell the guy was on about. He remained blank however, keeping his face straight.

Ash was surprised by this reply. He did not show that however. He smirked slightly and spoke with faked enthusiasm:

"That sounds great, sir. You make it seem as if your true name is not known to me and I do not require such knowledge. I am a man of business - a man of action. If answers is what you can offer me, then it is a gift I shall happily accept."

The man bowed. It seems both an appology as well as a mocking, obviously meant to seem like both options.

"The name Fizban Dantares I am afraid is nothing but a bait," he said. "My name is Mai Raugen."

James noted the man's name and tried to gauge his age from the voice he heard.

Ash glanced at James. His eyes said: "Do you recognize the name?". The Dragons were excellent at silent and quick communication. Ash needed to know if James had knowledge, he himself did not.

James made a small motion which indicated he did not, in truth he had never heard of him before, which was not a common occurance for James.

The man who called himself Mai Raugen continued to speak.

"Many of us thought this bait was a waste of time. A trap that was created and specialized for but a single type of animal. And with one specimen in the whole world, the chances were minimal and unrealistic. We were right, we never did catch the right animal. But the rest were wrong because it was not a waste of time. You came here and took the bait. You, my friends, having you here now, is most certainly not a waste of time."

Hearing this James became more on edge than he already had been. His arms folded he pulled two throwing discs from within his shirt, he appeared not to have moved however.

Ash closed his eyes. Of course he had imagined something like this happening. He had had nightmares about it. Ash knew it was a huge risk. It would be the biggest triumph of his life - or the biggest mistake. It seemed to be the last as well.

He opened his eyes and with a swift, quick movement, he jumped, rolled and appeared behind Mai, a blade touching the man's throat, as Ash grabbed hold of his captive.

((Both of you: carry on as if it happens right after this - like the guards' reaction or something. Make it last only a few seconds because then Ash wants to talk.

James threw one disc which stuck one of the men to the wall by the hand, forcing him to drop his weapon. He drew a knife himself and held it to another guards throat, the whole sequence of events occured in seconds.

Fasten grunted as the sharp disc cut into his arm and bit into the woodwork of the building. With a strong move he wrenched himself free and grabbed the disc himself. He turned towards James, an angry look in his face.

The same expression was shared by his comrade, Andrev, who backed away from the dagger held up to his throat but his route was blocked by a pillar which held the roof up. He looked down at James breathing heavily, clenching his fists.

Mai Raugen did not move at all as Ash made his attack. He had expected this, Grobtak and Volan had told him that much. He held up his hand as a friendly gesture. "You are making a mistake, Dragon leader," he said as Ash pressed the dagger to his throat.

Ash was getting tired of this. Through gritted teeth he spoke, while holding Mai Raugen firmly with the dagger touching this man's skin:

"The only mistake I made was to trust you!"

"Because the prospect of victory and glory! It was foolish and now someone will pay for this mistake! I am selfish enough to make that someonebe you!" Ash replied, still through gritted teeth. His voice was calm however. It showed no anger. No pain. But it was there - inside of him!

"And just because my name's different you think you will loose it all?" Mai said, with mocking in his voice.

Ash was now bewildered for a second. He fastened his grip once more and asked, now slightly out of emotional balance - even in his voice: "You just said this was a trap! No more tricks, Mai, or you die!"
