"Good. Then, this meeting is over. See to it that all under your command know we are leaving." said Mordain.
"Stand against me if you must, for of course you will. Conflict is just another part of this flawed reality. You need to cling to your concepts and purposes, your feeble honour and glory. None of it serves any purpose in the end. And the end draws close." - Krodalis Thaendil.

"It really is amazing; she killed Kelan Wealer, not that I am complaining, but then the order welcomed her as their new leader. It makes one wonder if I were to ram a blade down her throat, would the monks then follow my commands?" - Mordain Thaendil.

Normally Nathaniel would have left to pack up his tent, but after the rearguard battle, it would likely have been simply packed away with whatever spare equipment the army was transporting. All he had left was his sword, and the musette bag which was still slung across from one shoulder to the opposite side. His oaken staff had obviously been lost in the battle. He remembered dropping it when the Dark Disciple Urden'Hel knocked him down, and had those foolish monks not knocked him out, he would have been able to recover it.

He waited for the other individuals inside the command tent to leave.

((We already got caught??? Christ it's only been a few hours! I thought we had a few days. No offense, but this is ridiculous.))

James nodded and entered the command tent. The officers and aides there were scrambling about, trying to get everything packed up and ready to go.

"James!" called Aldron from across the tent.

"Milord?" asked James.

"Get the vanguard moving as quickly as possible!" called Aldron. "Have General Feies's men ride back a bit and see what they can find about the enemy!"

"Aye, Milord!"

((First of all, we've not been "caught". They are only closing on us, and if we linger they will catch us. Second, I think there's been much more time since James Castoden left the army than what the RPG says at the moment

I repeat, they have not necessarily caught us yet, but we are staying in onee place. If we move on we could avoid any battle which you are so tired of playing))

((It's been less than an hour since the rearguard finally collapsed. How could any army, undead or not, cover that great a distance in that short a time, especially when we haven't been stopped the entire time?))

((It's been a day or two since the rearguard collapsed, as I understand it, since we have since moved on and established a camp. Now, the undead are closing on us again. I repeat; it has been one or two days since the last battle.))

The command tent, along with most of the other tents, had beent taken down. It would not be long until they were ready to move on.

((I have no idea how you get it to be "one hour" since the rearguard collapsed? You yourself said we moved two days on earlier, also you said yourself the undead would catch up after three days... which I personally think is too soon, since I think it should take more than one day to move from Fargon to Asulien with the army))

((Why do people feel the need to say "I repeat" every time they tell me something? I'm not retarded. <_<

Anyways, the ONLY two posts that mentioned time were my own; one about six pages back that said:

Quote:

Night was beginning to fall over the army, and after the long day's fighting and hard marching, Aldron decided it would be better to halt the march for the day.

and one in the Shrine of Aracen topic

It has not been long

(in regards to how long since the rearguard fell). James left the same day the rearguard fell, and unless we skipped forward two days in the time he was gone (which was not roleplayed anywhere and wouldn't make sense because he would've gotten to Drathmor by then and the monks teleported directly everywhere) we're still the night of the day the rearguard fell. Am I wrong anywhere in my reasoning?))

((Yes, yes you are :P But I'm a bastard and would tell you that regardless of the facts :P

But seriously, if it was the night of the same day that the reaguard fell then doesn't it make all the more sense that the undead would have been catching up, especially since we apparrently chose to stop and make camp rather than keep moving?))

((But we've barely been stopped for any time at all, based on the events that have happened, and the undead army just got free of the rearguard. It just pisses me off when you all treat me like a moron when I'm the only one who seems to keep track of the time. <_< ))

((Sorry Jimmy. I did not see Chadden's post and I thought in the same post where you quoted from that you actually meant we moved it all forward to Fargon. I thought the army was stationed outside the town or something. MY bummer completely. At least we agree that it's not certain that the undead is not necessarily catching up with us yet, if we move on. ))

EDIT: ((And stop "feeling" like you're being treated like a moron, because you're not. I made a mistake and I'm apologizing for it, but I did it with good intentions.))

Two soldiers came forward to the pole and lifted Justin up from it, realizing him from his bonds.

"So we're moving on then," he asked.

One of the soldiers simply nodded and gave him a bottle of water. "You know you have to release me," Justin said but the soldiers ignored me. "At least let me speak to Lord Thaendil when anyone of those return damn it. I need to find Commander Ariakas."

((Eh it's whatever I probably got a little too worked up. :P It's all good. Everyone just needs to be on the same page about the timeline and everything, and we need to be very clear when we are going to jump forward. So are we still going to reach Fargorn before we get hit?))

((Most likely, unless the undead use something very fast like a dragon or something. We never know however since Chadden has so many surprises , but no matter. We just have to move on))

James sought out Darnil and found him getting the troops ready. "Darnil," said James.

Darnil turned and nodded. "Milord. The men should be ready to leave in a few minutes, five at the most."

"Good, good," said James. There was a silence between them, and James found it difficult to meet his Lieutenant's eyes. Finally, he was able to say, "Darnil, I--"

But Darnil cut him off, "Milord, I am glad I could help. You may not have made the smartest choice, but you made one you thought was right for Weissland. There is no shame in that."

James looked at him oddly for a moment but then nodded. "Thanks."

"Of course Milord," said Darnil. He looked around as the soldiers began to form into their battalions and said, "We had better get moving."

"Right," said James.

He turned to go but Darnil shouted, "Milord?"

James turned around.

"Ride a damn horse," said Darnil, and then he smiled.

James laughed and replied, "Very well, Darnil, very well."

((Mordain did say that it would take place once you were on the move, and it would appear that the army is not. Ergo your conversation should not occur yet, yes? Fear not! The army isn't entering Fargon straight away. I posted it some miles away so you could still make with the talkie.))

((Agrees to that. EDIT: "That" means what Jimmy said))

Boralays lifted one of his own sacks and put it on a wagon. As he turned he came face to face with Amalrith. The elven mage lord specializing in spell spheres, communicating, identifying and divining spells had sweat on his face despite the cold weather.

Boralays frowned, "What's wrong?"

"I managed to make contact with one of the other mage lords earlier to day," he said.

"That is great," Boralays said. "Who?"

"Paulin in Daulinen. He's at the court of Lord Eben. The dwarfs has received news about us and are marshaling their forces."

"Hopefully it's not too late for Weissland, not thinking much about us" Boralays said. "We should tell the others."

"Not yet," Amalrith cut him off. "There is more. My spells were cut off, and I think I know partially what blocks our spells from communicating with Drairan and the other mage lords. It only happens with us, because Paulin has been in contact with the others all over Weissland."

"What? Is Drathmor's influence really that far streching, as Mistrandar said it could be?"

"No. Someone blocks it from our location. There is a spell caster in our army camp who is able to completely block any of the spells I capable of using. Someone must have ruined this mage's concentration."

"But who?" Boralays was shocked by this.

"I have no idea," Amalrith said. "But whoever it is, the individual, or maybe there's more of them, are very powerful to be able to do something like this."

((Very well, but when you post:

"--Weissland Army Leaves Ledek's Span--
--Weissland Army Enters Fargon--""

That makes me think you're moving the whole army. ;) ))
