"We believe he's still in the White Realm," Mistrandar sighed. "It's mysterious, we have great difficulties reaching other mage lords and mages around in Weissland. Spell spheres or other types of magical communication, none of it works. Amalrith is trying constantly. But Drairan is out of reach at least."

Mordain shook his head. "If he has, then no word has reached us. But a powerful mage would be needed... I would do it myself, but I fear that such power could provoke my darker side."
"Stand against me if you must, for of course you will. Conflict is just another part of this flawed reality. You need to cling to your concepts and purposes, your feeble honour and glory. None of it serves any purpose in the end. And the end draws close." - Krodalis Thaendil.

"It really is amazing; she killed Kelan Wealer, not that I am complaining, but then the order welcomed her as their new leader. It makes one wonder if I were to ram a blade down her throat, would the monks then follow my commands?" - Mordain Thaendil.

"A few of the mage lords are strong enough for it," Mistrandar said. "I think I might, as well as Andros and Boralays. Vedgar could before, but I don't think he's capable for that now. Maybe Tidurion if he only got his act together for once."

"What of Shaellana? Or Mordus? Do they know of this spell?"

"Shaellana's skills with magic are not strong enough for such a spell. As for Mordus, well it is his choice."

"I will go when the time comes," He said blankly in a gritty voice, jaw clenched and heart pounding. The voice of his father came back to him through the suffocating anger and loathing in his mind, forcing his tongue into speaking. "Though I do not know what will come of it."

After a moment of silence, Mordain looked at Mistrandar. "This task would be too great to entrust to one mage alone. If Lord Mordus is to preform the spell, then a mage lord must accompany him."

"And what then?" asked Aldron. "Would troops be sent to support them?"

"None," Said Mordus grimly. "The army can not afford to lose any more fighting men. This you know. You must carry on as I and a Mage Lord stay to ward off the undead. Our fate will be our own."

"Aldron raises a good point; with the void in place, Mordus and whoever joins him will be occupied with keeping the void in play. But, with the undead immobilised, there would be far less risk to our soldiers. So perhaps we should send men back to face the necromancers. If not, then another tactic for actually killing our enemy must be devised."

"Burn them or shoot them. There is no point in chasing them with swords, but a few arrows, or a splash of oil where the necromancers will be stuck inside their own army, would go a long way."

"Perhaps the Dragon Lords could see to the destruction of the necromancers. They can descend upon the vile sorcerers from above and destroy them easily, as well as being powerful enough to hold their own against any of the Dark Disciples."

"Yes, but they are... something else. Believe me, Narandar; this magical attack will not hinder them. The power that sustains them, the power of the Dark Lord, is greater than anything we could conjure."

"Good. Malathos, Ruin and Aedarus are within the camp. I will speak with them."

At that time Boralays entered the tent closely followed by Vedgar and Andros. Andros had a steady hand on the shoulder of Vedgar.

Suddenly, the twelve monks, James, and Nathaniel appeared in the tent in a bright flash of blinding white light, stunning all around them with their sudden appearance. Several of the guards drew their swords, as did Aldron, but when they saw James, everyone's jaws dropped and they were speechless.

((Did not the people in the camp just find out that James had left? Oh well))

The mage lords each took a step back as they realized who travelled with James and Nathaniel. Both Andros, Mistrandar, Boralays and even Vedgar each took a bow to the monks.

"Servants of the ancients gods," Vedgar acknowledged.
