Mordus frowned slightly. "I can not say he has my trust, for I do not know the man and even less so after his reaction to Mordain's 'accident'. He is capable, granted but I find something quite disturbing about him. All his actions bear the hallmark of a power gamble and I do not want to put the blasted remnants of this country through the consequences of such. Still, I can not be sure yet and most likely it shall not matter." |

Justin nodded slowly, "So be it." He turned around and marched out of the tent followed by Bana. -------------------------------------------------------------- Amalrith suddenly once more opened his eyes simultanously with Andros. "Did you see that?" Amalrith asked. "The undead coming this way you mean?" Andros responded rhetorically. "Clear as a mountain against the horizion. "You never cease to surprise me Andros? Why is it that you seem to master every field any of the other of us has specialized in?" Amalrith said as he quickly got to his feet. "Patience, my elven friend," Andros said as he followed Amalrith out. "Patience above all else." |

Aldron turned to Darnil and said, "Make sure they don't cause any trouble. That is the last thing we need right now." "Aye, Milord," said Darnil, and he followed the Realmers out of the tent. After a moment of silence, James asked, "So what now, Milord?" Aldron shook his head. "We must follow through with our plan. Get the army ready to move." "Already?" asked James. "We just stopped." Aldron nodded. "I know, but we must get moving. I have a bad feeling." "I don't like pushing the men this hard," said James. "They'll get too tired; they're capable, more than capable, but I'm worried about how they'll fare if we get held up." "I know," said Aldron, "but we have to reach Asulien as soon as possible." James nodded. "Alright." He turned and left the tent, accompanied by Peloron. Soon the word was spread throughout the army that everyone, including the refugees, was to be ready to move within half an hour, and within that time, the army was moving once again. |

((Happens before the army moves on okay, since they should have used than less than half an hour to find you
))Both Amalrith and Andros, mage lords, stepped inside the tent of Lord Aldron soon after James Castoden had left. "My lord," Amalrith addressed the Lord Aldron. "The undead army is heading towards us. They are moving quickly." "We heard you are preparing to move out, but chances are that the undead will then attack us when we are on the move," Andros added. |

Aldron nodded. "We cannot turn and fight here; we will be destroyed. Peloron will lead a rearguard action to defend the army." |

"Then will aid him as best as we can," Amalrith nodded. "May I ask what else was decided during the meeting?" Andros looked around the room before he asked "What did the Realmers want?" |

"They wanted Ariakas, but he deserted the army yesterday," said Aldron, shaking his head. Turning to Amalrith, Aldron said, "We are making for Asulien with all possible haste, to make a stand there. With the state of the army, the refugees, and the strength of the enemy, any other spot would be suicidal." |

“We do not know where the enemy is exactly,” said Aldron. “His rearguard will have a troop of light cavalry, and they will scout behind the army and let Peloron know when the enemy is near. Then he will try to conduct a fighting retreat as best as possible, and...make a stand if necessary.” |

((Bleh.. ))Andros and Amalrith returned to the other mage lords who was helping with getting the army and the refugees moving. Mistrandar listened intently as Amalrith explained. "It's the only good choice as I see it," he said as the elf was done. "It's the right choice. Alright. Amalrith, I need you here however to continue trying to make contact with Drairan. We need him. Borsun, you go instead, and bring with you Tmar, Gashin, and fifteen other mages. This might be dangerous, and despite us being short on numbers it's instrumental that this works." "If you don't mind," Andros added. "I will go instead, unless you would say you need me here." The last was said with a sly smile. Borsun left to go find the mages, as well as Peloron. And Amalrith left to find Boralays. Then there was only Andros, who mounted his horse beside Mistrandar. "Did you hear of the Realmers?" the older mage lord asked the younger one. "No," Mistrandar shook his head, he seemed little interested in the matter. "Which Realmers?" Andros shrugged as he spoke, "Two Warriors of Mjolnir came into camp and asked for Ariakas." "Ariakas left yesterday, he rode west after we passed the Ledek's Crossing." "West?" Andros asked puzzled. "Would not that take him nowhere?" "No, there's a crossing right before the River of Light joins with the Ledek River... and..." Mistrandar suddenly halted. "Why the..." "You never really wondered where he would go now did you?" "But why? Where?" Mistrandar asked. "I don't know," Andros whispered, both to himself and to Mistrandar. "Maybe we should ask the two Mjolnir Warriors?" "Find someone to do that," Mistrandar said. "Before they leave." "I will find it out myself, do not worry about that." |

The army had moved on suddenly, enemy forces had been discerned moving quickly towards them, although still at some distance or so it seemed. Nathaniel rode on with the column, his possessions with him. He had packed up his tent in haste, by the time word had reached him of the move there was little time left. The black-clad mage rode in silence, alone with his thoughts and what Lord Mordus had said about Castoden. The thought which returned to the fore most often was that Nathaniel agreed. There was something which did not seem right, he needed to watch events carefully now. |

The undead hunters joined the army as it began moving. Xander, however, left the formation and approached one of the soldiers. "Who is in command here? And why are you marching north?" He tried to speak in a friendly way but it came out more forceful than he wanted. |

Justin and Bana quickly moved through the camp, watching the activity that filled the area as the soldiers, mages, officers and refugees made ready to move on. "So what do we do now?" Bana asked. "Either we find out where Ariakas went or we follow the army so its easier for both him and Ranorist to find us," Justin commented. "At least until Hound joins with his men." "No matter what happens I think Ariakas will be in need of our aid," Bana said. "You are right," Justin said. "At least it won't do any harm to try and figure out what his plans was. Wait here. I will snook around a bit, trying to find someone who might know something. There got be someone." Justin nodded to Bana, and then quickly disappeared among the crowd and numerous tents. Bana was left alone and turned to go and find the horses they had left with the sergeant earlier. Then he bumped into another person whom he knocked down. It was a young woman dressed in a poor clothing, with a simple thick cloak except for her rags. She had been carrying a basket of potatoes which she had dropped as she fell down. Bana bent down to help her with the potatoes. "I am so sorry," the young Mjolnir Warrior said. "That is alright," the girl said. She was probably around nineteen-twenty. As he picked up the last of the potatoes and put them back in the basket which she held forth he smiled at her. She was small and thin, her face quite plain except for her large dark eyes. "You are not from Weissland, sir," she asked, with a slightly trembling vocie. He wondered if it could be of fear. "No," Bana responded, he did not really want to reveal where he came from when people did not know. "I am actually from the Realm." She nodded slowly and seemed to be wanting to walk away. "We are here to help you." He shook his head, uncomfortable in the situation. "I am sorry," gesturing towards the potatoes. "I need to go," she said. "I had to deliver these quickly." "I understand," he stepped to the side so she could pass. She walked past. "I am Bana," he called out to her. She turned and smiled shyly to him. "I am Maren." Then she continued on. Bana stood there among the bustling activity for a while, looking at her moving away. "How convenient," he said to himself before moving to find the horses. |
