"We didn't discuss the evacuation, other than the fact that it went well," said James. "To be honest, I don't even know where the refugees are." |

"They might be in danger now," Mistrandar said. He called Almirith forth and spoke quickly to the elf. "Find Sirithian, both of you try to locate the refugees from Ataya." |

Mordus waved for them to stop. "The refugees are safe; not an hours march ahead of the main collumn. I made sure they were led competently before dispatching the wounded." He said, evident with distain at their lack of coordiantion. "They should arrive at Crint before long. We must strike east so as not to leave them waiting, and use what time we have left wisely." He continued, and dismissed his tone. |

"You...what?" asked James. ((I swear, if you actually killed wounded civilians, my character is literally going to kill your character. ))

((They left far more than an hour before we did, but it's okay)) Mistrandar stood dumbstruck for few seconds before the words of Mordus truly came to meaning. The man could not be speaking this way, "What are you saying?" |

Nathaniel said nothing, caught in his own thoughts. The refugees were heading towards Crint, Crint. But it was ok, really. Messengers had been sent, everywhere would be evacuating, including his home city. It was not the time, he could not see them yet, see that place yet. He had to remain strong, it was not the time. |

((You could try Rud When I say "dispatched" I do not mean "killed", for the record. I was refering to the moving of the wounded in the supply caravan, and assumed you had sense enough to draw that conclusion.))Mordus frowned deeply. "FOOLS!" He exclaimed. "Does not even the slightest thought of ambiguity strike you!? Of course the wounded are alive." He sighed wearily."I propose we start moving once again, before I torch some deserving soul in exasperation" |

Mistrandar simply sighed. "I am glad it was dealt with Mordus." Then he shook his head, "I am sorry. I think it's the stress, and all the disturbing events which happen sin such little time." Then the mage lord withdrew from the conversation and rode backwards in the column, returning to his former place. |

((I dunno about you, Mordus, but where I live "dispatched" implies "killed," and that on top of your character's reputation...I made a sensible conclusion. Also, no one ever said the wounded were dead, so why would your character exclaim that?
))"Calm down and shut up," said James. "This isn't the time for that. And look around; we are moving, we've been moving for a while now." |

((Wha? I was under the firm impression you implied they were dead. My character is touchy about his loyalty to Weissland so whilst It may look suspicious that he responds strongly to even the slightest alegation, it is mearely his neurotic nature. I also doubt the troops would keep moving with all the commotion thats been occuring. I mean, it is their commanders that are brawling after all and whilst the soldiers are steely they are still human and doubt would surely cross them.)) "You are right, this is not the time." Mordus conceded. "But perhaps you would care to look at the regiments a mile along staring aimlessly back for reassurance." |

((Gah! Ok we must be under completely different impressions. In my minds eye the characters have not been traveling at the head of the column, more like at the middle seeing as the troops set off before the characters. When all the fighting broke out I assumed half the troops, the ones in front, were still moving whilst the other half halted behind the brawl. That is why I refered to the troops ahead.)) |

((Your characters are making each other look like fools in the way you act When one character claims something about what is going on around them in the RPG another character should not claim something opposite. It's just blocks the actions of characters, and should not happen in an RPG. Anyway, who is at the head of the column? I mean, who leads the army in the front?)) |

((I was also under the impression that we were somewhere in the middle of the column as well. As Mordus said, some of the troops left before the characters, and the troops which Lord Aldron brought joined the back of the column apart from a group of the knights which accompanied him to find the other leaders.)) |

((Aye, the army is moving, let's just forget this ever happened. However, I don't think Seekers should be at the front of the army, as they are not soldiers, and answer only to Mordain. The army should be led by scout units and light cavalry, so General Romeit would be the ranking officer at the head.))James walked over to Lord Aldron's horse and said, "Milord." "James," replied Aldron with a nod. "This is not good." "I know, Milord," said James. "Mordain's...'issue' will have to be dealt with eventually," said Aldron. "He is a revered leader amongst the mages, and the people did trust him, but with this...if the sentiments of the army are any indication, I do not know if he can rule Weissland following the War." "So you believe Lathaon is lost, then?" asked James. Aldron shrugged. "I do not know about magic and its ways, but yes, I believe he is gone." |

((Well in Mordain's and Shaellana's absence they would answer to me, but go ahead.)) Mordus went to his drake; bent down and pretended to tend to his saddlebag as he listened to Castoden and Aldron's conversation. So, treachery was afoot. Dissent would spread fast hereafter he knew. With the Archmage missing and Mordain gone people would not know where to turn. An all to easy situation for the likes of the upstart Castoden to manipulate. He may be all honor and glory to the common soldier but Mordus knew better. Behind that chivalrous exterior was just another man, and no man is pure. He would wait until he could see the real Castoden. Then he would act. He picked up the bag and fastened it to the drake's harness before climbing onto the saddle. He set the drake to a trot along the southern flank of the column and looked worryingly across the river. Dark clouds mustered in great numbers and the peak of the Mystic Tower lay obscured. |

Nathaniel looked at his sword for a moment, realising that even once the conflict was over he had not sheathed the weapon. He blinked several times, then put the sword away. He walked over to where his horse was and mounted up again. He moved back into the column, but stayed at the outer edge. |

"What should we do about the refugees?" asked James. "Send a rider up to General Romeit," said Aldron. "Tell him to send some of his people ahead to stop the refugees and have them wait for us." "Right," said James. "Darnil!" "Milord?" asked the Lieutenant. "Get someone up to Romeit. Tell him to get in touch with the refugees and to tell them to wait." "Aye, Milord," said Darnil, saluting and moving off. "And Darnil!" called James. "Milord?" "Tell them to find out if my wife is alive," said James quietly. Darnil nodded. "Yes, Milord." |
