Lord of the Forums Posts: 14,160 Group: Lord of the Forums Member #1 Joined: March 27, 2005	I just finished Contact Harvest by Joseph Staten Best Halo-novel I think...maybe equal to Fall of Reach, but they are slightly different - this one is truly describing one story from different perspectives, while Nylund's books jump shitloads in time and space with less coherency than Contact Harvest .

If you haven't read any of his stuff before, and you like satire, then I highly recommend reading this stuff. Both are hilarious. I'm also 3/4th's of the way through reading a 4-book series by Terry Brooks, called the Scions of Shannara. Well, I think that's what the series is called, but in truth I haven't even looked at the books in ages

Unregistered	I have not read Jerle Shannara-chronology but I have planned to. And look forward to Lord of Chaos, Alex. To me it was one of the best books in the series. And great to see you reading Lord of the Rings Kaizer009! First time?
