As it has been debated and decided upon, the Great Battleground of the White Counsil, the place where our own Games-Workshop-related Long Distance TableTop Wargaming system has been worked upon and developed, as well as the Army Rooms of the various warring factions has been removed! All of the topics from all forums and subforums can now be found in the LDTTW Archive as a sub-forum to the "Archive" forum at the bottom of the page. I believe that this LDTTW project was interesting for a while - it certainly was a unique, colaborative project with Alex and James (and later Lachlan) as frontmen and -developers. The project spinned off many interesting discussions - not least between the Free People and the Forces of Darkness - I remember debating against the Evil Johannes, being called a sexist and all kinds of fun stuff - it really was great. And yes - LDTTW was at its peak, when TWC was as well - I would say that after FHaG and the RPG, this project was our most unique feature - I even had a LDTTW battle against Alex. He beat me and never allowed for a rematch that bitch <_< (jk) It was a bit sad to remove this old, old forum, but feel free to take it up any time, anyone if you want - it certainly is not gone forever - it is now another fabulous chapter in the great History of the White Counsil! Thanks to all who contributed, and a special thanks to Alex, James and Lachlan for their awesome work! |

What? Sunny's sexist?
If I did not have other stuff to be doing, I'd add to that picture he likes so much... |

Yeah - it was horrible, Alex! Grrr!!! Ariakas, I have not searched for the text, but it was something along these lines: Sunny: "Your mightiest commander [the Witch King] was killed by a woman! Ha - how pathetic for you!" Ariakas: "What is wrong with a woman being a great warrior? Are you free peoples sexists?" Something like that. It might have been James saying that however...I am not sure... |

Well, yeah it was either me or James. Man, the two of us threw a lot of crap at you when the Forces of Darkness/Free Peoples beganI have totally forgotten the LOTR STBG-rules by now (ages since I played) but how can a Uruk captain kill four warriors on one turn? |

Quite easily. They have two attacks, and my Captain defeated both Warriors of Minas Tirith and slew them both with the aid of a Might point. I then used a second Might point for a Heroic Combat, and he charged a second pairing on Warriors of Minas Tirith and slew them both with the aid of an Uruk pikeman. |

Wicked! It's been so long that I don't even think about Heroic Combats anymore. It's works like Force Speed in the Jedi Knight-computer games I guess. |
