((That's irrelevant since you did not role-play that
))Mistrandar Alicant entered the tent behind Lathaon Thaendil and nodded to Castoden as he entered. |

((Actually, its night again. I clearly remember Ariakas mentioning it being morning as we were going through the pass. But I also remember Alex moving the time on to night again the second time he returned on his drake. So it should be night, but the night after the Great Wall fell as opposed to the night it fell. Or at least that's how I worked it out from what people have said.)) Nathaniel was led to a small tent. He nodded his thanks to the officer and, ducking his head slightly, entered the tent. He pulled the flap down behind him and sat down on the simple cot. He rubbed slowly at his jaw, feeling how his beard had grown longer and the stubble which roughly covered his jawline and lower cheeks. Nathaniel sighed, an expression not only of his tiredness, but the returned burden upon him. For days he had felt revitalised, free from his troubles, due to the powerful protection spell Mordain had placed upon his cloak. But Drathmor had destroyed it. Drathmor, he thought the name like an insult, a curse. Nathaniel vowed to himself that he would do everything in his power to oppose and stop Drathmor and the Defiled Kingdom. He was an intelligent man, and for all his power and intellect, he was lacking in ego. Nathaniel knew he could not defeat Drathmor or even any of his high-ranking servants, but he would help others which could perform such actions. Nathaniel Drakkon let the thought fill his mind, I was there the day Drathmor fell. That is what he would write, that is what would happen, Nathaniel would make sure of it. He could feel the presence of the spirit all around him, like a shroud, thick smoke clouding his vision. Forcing himself to rest, he laid down on the cot, keeping his right hand gripped tightly around the hilt of his sword. Slowly he drifted off to sleep, caught in a whirlwind of dreams. |

((Well, that makes more sense since we should use some time to travel through the valley. Although it's highly likely that the TDK-forces would have caught up with us if it went so much time. But okay it's fine by me

((Well, I think the reason they didn't catch up was because they were just entering the pass when we were leaving it. But while it took us just over a day to get through the pass, they would be quicker because I'm assuming the undead forces won't require rest or sustainance.)) |

(Due to the fact that I'm not following the plot in the pass at all I will now perform a literary U-bend. Observe!) Mordus climbed up into the saddle and stowed away the spyglass. He realised only then how weary he was, bones weighed down as if by lead and stone. Not from a lack of sleep but of the world and all its trivialities. It seemed to him a cruel and pointless world where the gods would burden mankind with gritted and rough emotion and watch in amusement, perhaps snuffing out countless lives on causeless whims. He sat slumped and allowed himself a moments respite, massaging his temple with one gloved hand. Yes. A cruel world indeed. He found himself mysteriously bemused and the glimmer of a smile flashed across his ashen features. A thought flitted into his mind, seemingly from nowhere. He pondered it as he stared into the saddle. He had always wondered where he would find it. What it would feel like. Most men would be content to mearely glimpse it, to entertain the strange thought as a passing obscurity, then look away for fear of loosing whatever they held dear. An icy shiver crept insidiously over him, driving out the weight on his limbs. Yes. Lesser men would not - could not let go. Could not pass the brink. Lesser men would look away and be fearful. Not he. On a whim he peered into the blackness. And let go. A flash of black light expanded slowly from within the pass and vanished in an instant as the ground tremmored shook and boulders came hurtling down the steep crags; all but concealing the shadow of his drake with dust and debris as he rose in the air. --Leaves Kuren Pass-- --Enters Defiled Kingdom-- |

Ariakas finally reached the point far up, and deep into the mountains which he had sought after. He remember everything, from the sky above him to the ground beneath him. The rocks he sat on as a kid, the large mountain oak he had climbed in, the small, dry pond he believed he could find fish him. The hillside and the very grass beneath his feet. Everything was here, except for one thing. His home, the wooden house where he and his mother, and occasionally his father, has lived. It was nothing left, only a black spot where the walls and floors once had been placed. Nothing left of his childhood. It was all destroyed. Why, he thought to himself. There was no reason for it to be destroyed. Who did it? Suddenly he noticed something, further down the valley it seemed like it blew a cold wind. He slowly walked forward to investigate. As he moved on he could at first feel the difference, but soon he could also see it. Life vanished. Everything around him was dead. No plant life at all, and the silence was deafening. The road curved downwards into a flat area between the hillsides, shaped entirely flat through the years. It was a cold stone floor, except for one single stone which stood in the middle. Ariakas stopped and remembered back. After Ariakas had sworn continue the work of his fore-fathers, doing what their family was meant to do his father, who had already decided to leave that road, had gotten mad to him. Blistering with danger he had pulled Ariakas out of the house and sat him on the stone. There Ariakas had been forced to sit in the three chilling days and three freezing nights, forced to think through his actions. That was what had marked him for the future. His father had taught him how to think. Ariakas slowly walked to the rock, the place where his life and destiny truly had been shaped through three terrible days and nights. He pulled off his glove and touched the stone with his hand, Someone else has been here. "Death," Cloudwulfe cried from the depth of his mind. |

Moarbrek stood atop the hill. In the distance, he could see a vast Weissland military camp. A matter of hours was all that stood between the army of the Dark Lord and the defenders of Weissland. The Lich Lord threw his hand up, releasing a terrifying call. This call was heard and mimicked by the dark host. Once more, the massive army surged forward, making their way straight towards the Weissland camp. |

None of it serves any purpose in the end. And the end draws close." - Krodalis Thaendil. "It really is amazing; she killed Kelan Wealer, not that I am complaining, but then the order welcomed her as their new leader. It makes one wonder if I were to ram a blade down her throat, would the monks then follow my commands?" - Mordain Thaendil. One of the Last Guardians. Suck it. | |

The anticipation of a feast of flesh flood through Vardakh's blood. His voice was ice-cold as he spoke to Xeror; the pair mouonted upon their drakes. "It is only a matter of time, now, Xeror," he said. Xeror nodded. |
