"My name is Ariakas. You ever heard that name?" he said as he turned his head towards Nathaniel. |

Nathaniel replied "Yes, I have. Last I heard Ariakas was the Loremaster of the White Realm. What are you doing here though?" |

Moarbrek's eyes burned with rage. He looked slowly from side to side before turning back to the mages. "You will all pay for this deffiance. I will see you dead, and all that you hold dear turned to waste." The Lich Lord turned to his forces and ordered them to fall back to the wall of rock that separated them from the rest of the forces. Moarbrek grinned; the ground was shaking now. The great titan was drawing close. Even with all their power, those mages could not hope to stand against something as ancient as an undead titan. |

"Stand against me if you must, for of course you will. Conflict is just another part of this flawed reality. You need to cling to your concepts and purposes, your feeble honour and glory. None of it serves any purpose in the end. And the end draws close." - Krodalis Thaendil. "It really is amazing; she killed Kelan Wealer, not that I am complaining, but then the order welcomed her as their new leader. It makes one wonder if I were to ram a blade down her throat, would the monks then follow my commands?" - Mordain Thaendil. One of the Last Guardians. Suck it. | |

"Oh, I am still the one my friend. Lord Thaendil," Ariakas said, but the title of the Lord of Weissland was spoken in a sarcastic manner, "demanded that one of the leaders of the White Realm should come with him if peace was to be made between Weissland and the White Realm. I decided to come all the way out of personal reasons. Now, if you would please tell me more about this Lord Mordus". He gestured in a friendly, diplomatic manner. |

The massive weapon of Vorr smashed through the boulders that kept Moarbrek's army divided. The full number of his army rushed through, forming and facing towards the robed mages. Moarbrek stared at the leader. "Embrace death, fool." Vorr advanced towards them and swung its weapon. The mountainside was torn asunder and the area upon which the mages stood fell away. |

Nathaniel smiled slightly and said "Ah, and no doubt someone important from the leadership of Weissland was left behind in the White Realm to act in a similar fashion." He continued moving with the knights, making good their retreat. He continued to answer Ariakas' question "I cannot tell you much, for I have been, how shall we say... removed from events in Weissland for a time. As I understand it, Lord Mordus is quite high in the hierarchy of Weissland, most notably amongst the Seekers. He holds the title of Dark Seeker, and seems to be directly inferior, at least in terms of rank, to Lord Mordain. That makes Lord Mordus my superior as I will be inducted into the ranks of the Seekers... assuming I survive this war obviously." After he finished speaking, Nathaniel noticed that he was still holding his sword and had not sheathed it. He moved his arm, as if to put the weapon away, but stopped the motion and continued to hold it. It seemed a better idea to keep the weapon handy, yet Nathaniel could not entirely decide why. |

Ariakas watched Nathaniel's hand holding the around the hilt of the sword for a while before responding. "So, you are an aspiring Seeker? I can't say I know much about your order, and I don't expect you to tell me anything considering the secrecy which surrounds all of Mordain's followers." The group of knights led by James Castoden approached the end of the pass now and a lone figure had appeared in front of them. It looked like a man dressed in robes and he seemed to be waiting for them. A few soon recognized the man as Mistrandar Alicant, mage lord of Ataya. |

Nathaniel replied "Some secrets need to be kept." The remaining force continued marching towards the mage lord who waited up ahead and the exit to the pass as well. Hopefully they would be able to catch up to the rest of the army on their march. |

Mistrandar waited all until the small group reached him. Then he greeted Castoden, "My lord," he said. "It's good to see you alive." |

"I know my lord," Mistrandar nodded, "and for that I am sorry." He joined in with the knight's constant march, and waited a long time before speaking again. When he did he did with a low voice, only to Lord Castoden. "This day is only the beginning James. We have dark times ahead of us. I hope you understand that every man who now dies for Weissland dies for a reason." |

"I don't know," Mistrandar responded. "I don't know James. Maybe it was, but it certainly did not help." With that he continued the march in silence. |

((Oh, right, forgot lol.)) As the mountainside fell away, Kelan shouted, "Aracen, protect us from this beast! Give us the strength to do Your Will and defend Your People!" The ground beneath him split asunder and slid down the mountain, and around him he heard screams of panic, but Kelan was at peace. He reached the floor of the pass still on the same two rocks he had been standing on originally, and as the dust settled, he saw the other monks around him were still alive as well, shocked, dusty, and dazed, but still alive. |

As Lathaon drew further away from the army, he almost fell off the eagle as he saw Drathmor's main army, and saw Ataya. Ithrain had failed him. Ithrain had failed him to a worse extent than he had imagined possible. |

One of the knights lifted his arm and pointed to the sky. "Look my lord," he cried to James Castoden, "eagles in the sky." Soon the eagle riders had spotted them and began to dive down towards the small group of knights and their companions. |

Nathaniel watched the eagles diving down towards them for a moment. With his free hand he rubbed at his chin and looked back into the pass behind them. So far he could see no enemy, but they were still there somewhere in the pass. |

"They must have been sent for you and Lord Thaendil," Mistrandar said to James. There were only four eagles. Eight men could be carried back only. ((I assume one eagle may carry three riders here)). |
