Worst things about Lord of the Rings

All things have good and bad things. LotR has mostly good things, but if you had to point out some of the bad things from films/books, then what would that be. Use arguments!

Personally, I thought the books might get pretty boring in the way that they sometimes get prolonged. They have a lot of details, and as I read them now, I enjoy them absolutely, but if I had to find one bad thing, it would be that they are prolonged.

Yes, actually I tend to not read the details, just the important ones, and about the others, I read only the well-made parts, otherwise, I just quickly read what are the important things.
The film's flaw is that it has some mistakes :P I already told you the mobile phone one, and Legolas' eye color changes too, :D
And too many innocents die! *evil lau... err, I mean, weeping*

About the movie:

Idiotic end of the Battle of the Pelennor Fields in the movie. Bloody irritating it was. Jackson did not even want it that way, but why did they do it that way then?

All that Orlando Bloom-stuff (that surfing on the shield while pulling off two or three arrows, that jump on the horse, and the playing with the oliphaunt). Argh! I hate the guy for all of that!

And how the heck did the elves reach the Hornburg in time? How is it possible? (logical explanation needed to that...)

It is also irritating that it seems like it's mostly only the good heroes that are capable of defeating the evil warriors in close combat.. all the normal soldiers most often get slaughtered pretty quickly.

At TLA the Good warriors kick the crap out of the Orcs. In Osgiliath the Gondorians do pretty well at the beginning, and it is only many hours later when we see them again that they are getting crushed. It makes sense: they've been fighting for hours with no relief while the Orcs have tons of reinforcements. At Minas Tirith, you don't really see much hand-to-hand fighting, but it looks about equal to me when it occurs.

MT was a mordor streagth beccause the Nazgul pushed fear into the men and the almost none stop hords of orcs would make anyone tired. Gandalf brought some hope to the men but the WK took that away. The battaring ram was a failure to the orc causeing much death But Grond replaced that a drove more fear into their hearts. After the wall was breached the trolls madee short work of all and the orc hords had no end. The rohrium broke orc spirit (But where were the easterlings in this hole battle I saw them onece)

The thing I hated most about The Lord of the Rings films was that Glorfindel, Imrahil and Halbarad were all missed out :o

HIC, I demand that you bludgeon yourself with a rock until your mental status returns to the level of a rapist who calls back to apologise! Your use of elaborate language and words is making me uneasy. Although, I am somewhat relieved to see that your punctuation remains shit-based.

No elves came... there were just wild men and warg riders, and battles that didn't take place in the fortress, but near...

Worst thing is them leaving out the whole Shire thing at the end :(

I was really sad to see Saruman die like right at the beginnning of the movie :(

AHH! FFS!

Stop saying Uruk as an abbreivation for Uruk-hai! Uruk is black speech for Orc, and Uruk-hai is black speech for Orc-race, there is a difference!

Øhm... they are the same race Alex. just because the name is written differently, and therefore means different stuff it does not mean they are different races.

They are exactly the same breed/species/race.

EDIT:And please stop using such language, no need to do that.
