Haha...geeze, use your imagination. An incredible warrior and captain of Gondor, a crucial participant in the war of the ring, heroicly dies after realizing his own treachury and overpowering his own corruption. The brave warrior reaches the halls of Mandos, and the valar see Boromir in all his prowess, and decide to send him back with a doubled will and a doubled heart, plus a handsome muscle bonus, to act as their Champion's Guardian, the Guardian and protector of Gandalf the White. Together they did great deeds, as Boromir, in his former life, was already amazingly strong and talented and had already fought and survived some Nazgul...who knows what he'd be capable of with the valar's power invested in him.

"Should you ever feel agony for the loss of your Brothers due to enemy guns, bear through it with a stern smile and let your enemy know that you will get into combat soon enough. His judgement cannot be avoided!

Should your charge falter under heavy resistence, roar your devotion in His name and amount whatever strength you have left at one enemy point and crush it utterly! Let the enemy feel your pain by turning their's into agony!

Should you lay beaten and dying on the field, laugh with pride for even in death our enemies will fear us, leave them with a scar that will haunt them till the time of their retribution!" - Chaplain Valorus

The point is is that Boromir realized his peril, something that not even Isildur did. Boromir realized it, and realized that the ring had played him, and imagine how bad he must've felt. He'd betrayed Gondor and all of the free peoples, and he went and got himself killed, and had to live in death with that guilt. That's why I pity him so much, as if it had been me, I would have thrown myself in peril's way as well.

That is quite true though.....I still don't think he should have been sent back, but you are quite right there

Hmm, before Ariakas gets on me for that last statement, Isildur realized his peril but did nothing about it. He often wrote about how it would use him to its own will, but he never had the will to destroy it, though he had enough will to wield it quite effectively, but not without great pain being induced upon him. He was very powerful in terms of will, but in terms of heart, he was weak.

Ok that is very true, he was good in that sense and he did feel terrible and perhaps due to dying to save his friends he did make his amends, and he pledged his alleigance to gondor and the true king when he spoke with aragorn alone, so now he re- urned their trust and so could die and go to the halls of his fathers, YAY go borimir, god i can hear myself. haha oh well :D

HIC, I demand that you bludgeon yourself with a rock until your mental status returns to the level of a rapist who calls back to apologise! Your use of elaborate language and words is making me uneasy. Although, I am somewhat relieved to see that your punctuation remains shit-based.

Gimli adds some much needed humour to the tense Battle sequences.
