Hahaha...you guys are focusing on the Silmarillion, which I found very boring. It is afterall only notes, and if I interpreted Ariakas' latest comments corectly, he shouldn't like the silly very much either. He said that because it's only notes, it might not have been what Tolkien wanted, and therefore shouldn't be taken to be true. :P

HIC, I demand that you bludgeon yourself with a rock until your mental status returns to the level of a rapist who calls back to apologise! Your use of elaborate language and words is making me uneasy. Although, I am somewhat relieved to see that your punctuation remains shit-based.

I'm agreeing with you a little bit Derek, but AlexH answer was still right

In truth, the reason why I said that, is because I only have a general idea of the Silmarillion, an overview. I didn't find that much interest in it and therefore didn't take in that much of what I read. I loved The Hobbit and The Trilogy though...so when there's a question on those, I'll answer. :P

Cool.

Okay. My turn for a question.

In what year of the Second Age of the Sun did Tar-Atanamir take the Sceptre of Numenor, and the Nazgúl first appeared?

Hmm...okay, this is what I have:

Tar-Atanamir was the thirteenth King of Numenor, and was surnamed "The great" because during his reign, Numenor was at the height of its prowess. He pretty much hated everyone who wasn't Numenorean, especially the lesser men of Middle Earth, and often treated them brutally and cruelly.

I stumbled across something however of mild interest to me, however, Tar-Atanamir's death date is in doubt. According to The Appendixes, he took the Sceptre after his death date, which I find rather impossible. His set death is 2221 while it states that he didin't take the Sceptre until 2251.

The Nazgul, without a doubt, appeared in the year of 2251, which I assume is the date you are looking for Alex.

Unless it said "______ is the most acclaimed warrior of Gondolin after Turgon..." I think that's an opinion question. If so, I would have to say Tuor, because he spoke with Ulmo and acted as a messenger for him.

neither Echtelion nor Tuor? then it must be Glorfindel then...

but I agree, this looks like an opinion question, but I could be wrong

No, not Glorfindel.

It was in the Silmarillion.

Sure. I'll just tell you. It was Galdor

As no-one got that, I think Ariakas should make the next one, as he is leader.
