Might be hard, but:

What does Osgiliath mean?

Yeah Fortress of the Stars is the Tower in the centre of the city, also known as "Dome of Stars"

I did not say what Osgiliath was I said what it means... Fortess and Citadel is technically much of the same thing or could mean the same..

Well you see I was not sure which to put, Fortress or Citadel, but because of a past debate I decided to go with Citadel, even though on my website I have it as 'Fortress of the Stars'.

Um, Osgiliath, is a trading city, it is not a fortress, it is very large and powerfull, put not there, for the intended purpose of defence. Thats what Minas Arnor, and Minas Ithil, are there for.

EDIT: I was not allowed to post another post so instead I will just edit this one :P ...

still Minas Tirith has the population, look and social system as a city and not as a tower or fortress (it is called the White City again and again... but it's name does not mean city.... it's the same case as with Osgiliath...

just edit your own post if you wil answer this.. that's not spamming

HIC, I demand that you bludgeon yourself with a rock until your mental status returns to the level of a rapist who calls back to apologise! Your use of elaborate language and words is making me uneasy. Although, I am somewhat relieved to see that your punctuation remains shit-based.

I deleted your last post of two reasons:

It is Lieutenant of Morgul's turn to ask and you are not allowed to Double-Post. Please obey the rules!!!

What did J.R.R. Tolkien begin writing in the Trenches in WWI?

he begun writing the Book of Lost Tales (from which most of the tales in Silmarillion would later derive from)...

it was about the wars between the elves and the gnomes (deep elves, later noldor), the sieges/battles of Gondolin and Nargothrond, the love between Luthien and Beren, the wars against Morgoth and it described the languages Quenya and Goldogrin.

So you can say he started to write Silmarillion
