HIC, I demand that you bludgeon yourself with a rock until your mental status returns to the level of a rapist who calls back to apologise! Your use of elaborate language and words is making me uneasy. Although, I am somewhat relieved to see that your punctuation remains shit-based.

Okay, back to the topic. I have taken a big liking to the men of Khand recently. The are mysterious fellows, and there is little history. I am trying gather as much as I can on them by exploring some additonal notes Tolkien made.

He made a lot actually, and they were not published until 1998 when Chris Tolkien decided to do so. There are quite enjoyable to read, though I do not have a copy. There is one at my local library.

I cannot directly recall, but one of the books was called " The Letters of J.R.R.Tolkien ", and the other was called "The notes of Middle-Earth". The latter ebing a small book consisting of pages of sub plots throughout the story. Unfortunatly, there was no information on any abandonned ideas, which I found quite frustrating

The Variags? I know not, for when I read them I was searching for detail on the line of Gondor's Kings. But I shall loan the book from the Library and look, when I have the time. It is quite a popular book, and is rarely seen on the shelves. There are many Tolkien fanatics at my library*, and his work is also used in my school in English lessons.

* My library coincidentally is actually joined to my school, so school children do not have to pay to loan out the books.

(Yes, we have to pay, but we get the money back if we return the book back on time.)

Anyway, as such, I am interested in the Khandlings' history, as there was little detail about it in a lot of Tolkien's works.
