![]() ![]() Match 1: Singles Match Taeler Hendrix vs. Kaitlyn ![]() Match 2: Best of 7 Series Bee Boy vs. Nick Mitchell Bee Boy challenged Nick Mitchell to a Best of 7 Series on Social Media, and we're not even going to wait for Mitchell to reply! Nick Mitchell leads 1-0, but will Bee Boy even the score this week? Will there even be a prize for the winner of the series? Another distraction in Nick Mitchell's road to the World Heavyweight Championship.... ![]() ![]() Show Date: October 21, 2016 City: Grand Rapids, MI Venue: Van Andel Arena ![]() Match 1: Beat the Clock Challenge Kelly Kelly vs. Lana The final round of Beat the Clock challenges starts off with Amber vs. Izzy, an OOC rivalry with no equal. Their basic battles are the stuff of legend, and another chapter will be written tonight. ![]() Match 2: MMA Fight Mariusz Pudzianowski vs. UltraMantis Black Pudz has requested a shoot fight this week to prove he's a legitimate athlete who is superior to these mere wrestlers on Smackdown. Will UltraMantis Black shock the world, or will Pudz get the last laugh as always? ![]() Match 3: Smackdown World Cup Match Daniel Riley vs Rusev These two teams are in desperate need of a win in Week 3 of the World Cup, as the loser might find themselves in an insurmountable hole. Which of these men will be the first to earn 3 points for their team? ![]() Match 4: Triple Threat Match Brian Kendrick vs. Grado vs. Randy Orton Orton came away with the victory last week against Brian Kendrick, but the match on Superstars was so good that management has decided to throw them at each other again on Smackdown. With Grado inserted as the third wheel, what difference will he make in the outcome? ![]() Match 5: Tag Team Match Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Samuel Shaw & Goldberg This would make a helluva World Cup contest, but as each team is already represented, they'll have to settle for a match worth no points. That doesn't mean it's insignificant by any means. Goldberg is an an absolute tear on Smackdown, and looks to be a near lock to face Ciaran O'Donnell for the World Heavyweight Championship in the near future. Sami Zayn is 2-0 since his trade to the blue brand, but will he be able to co-exist with his long-time rival Kevin Owens? ![]() Match 6: Smackdown World Cup Match & Beat the Clock Challenge Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James A double whammy of a match! Trish Stratus pinned Rusev on Smackdown last week, but was unable to walk away with the Hardcore Championship due to a technicality. Both Team USA South and Team Canada have 6 points so far, but one team will lose for the first time while the other remains undefeated. To top it off, the winning diva will be the last to move to the gauntlet match for the #1 Contendership. ![]() Match 7: Tag Team Match Buggy Nova & Emma vs. Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks Buggy and Emma probably deserve a sitcom. I'd pay to watch that. Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks have both already moved on to the gauntlet match, so this week they will be on the same side of the ring facing off against the current and former Divas Champions. Poor Sasha--she's the only one in this match without a Divas Title reign. ![]() Match 8: Singles Match AJ Styles vs. Jimmy Jacobs AJ probably insulted Harambe backstage or something. I don't really have any build for this match. ![]() Main Event: Smackdown World Cup Match Eva Marie & Briley Pierce vs. Bea Priestley & Ciaran O'Donnell Has anyone else noticed that half the Divas division are redheads? No wonder there's so much anger on Smackdown. Speaking of angry people, Ci looks to overcome the ghosts of Smackdowns past by picking up some World Cup points for Team UK (no more Ireland). When will Will exert his will on the World Cup, or will Will never actually will himself to have a match? ![]() ALSO ON SMACKDOWN: - Mick Foley has been absent since his loss to Splash Anderson. Will he make his return this week, or is the embarrassment still too much to handle? - Survivor Series is still several weeks away, but the various title scenes are starting to become clarified. Will we learn anything about Smackdown's next PPV? - #WhereIsDolph? WEEK OFF: Apollo Crews (Until Max tells me he's fine to be booked) The Miz Travis Kooper Trista Will Ospreay ROLEPLAY DEADLINE THURSDAY – 7pm Eastern Time/Midnight UK & Ireland PLEASE SEND ALL SEGMENTS TO MICK FOLEY & VICKIE GUERRERO! |
