One of Gemmas females has produced this random little lass... We have countless generations of genetics on both sides, both parents are yellow and carry dark grey (more on mums side than on dads) and both must carry black as a yellow black appeared in the litter. here's a pic: ![]() ![]() No, she's not a mink (before some one suggests it). For a start she contains no cream or umbrous gene to make her mink but neither does she have eye rings or the minky undercoat. She is actually fairly heavily ticked and has (if you hold her in the right light) got cheek flashes of sorts. Eyes are claret red and not black so she isnt a beige and clearly she has to contain cinnamon otherwise she would have black eyes. So we've established that she isnt umbrous and so that rules out umbrous yellow (which looks like a naff umbrous golden so basically im totally stumped and have no idea what it is!
