Arianna went over it all in her head again, as the small craft came ever closer to Coruscant. It all made perfect sense. Matnokki would give them some much needed legitimacy, to take to the bargaining table, with each new world they approached.

She looked at her constant companion, the aging bodyguard droid, Exjay. "Nothing unusual?"

The droid snorted. Or it resembled one. "No one has any reason to believe we aren't exactly what we've claimed to be. A work crew." The droid turned his head towards the crew compartment, where twenty four of the Rangers waited, readying themselves.

Arianna glanced back also, but her eyes on the few others in the cockpit. "Well....I think it's past time when cold feet could matter anymore....are we ready?"

Zann sat in the cockpit of the small transport vessel, deep in thought and staring intently out the front, where Coruscant was quickly approaching. The goal in itself was simple, they were there to rescue the former Chancellor from the very center of the Loyalist Republic. The execution however would be complex at its best. They were to sneak in as a work crew, which should be an effect enough disguise to get them close to the Chancellors holding facility, but thats about as far as it would get them. It would not take them long before they realized what this 'work crew' was truly up to, and begin a conflict.

It was that very reason that they had twenty four of Atilla's best Rangers in the crew compartment of their shuttle, as well as Zann himself. Speed would be of the essence, as after they had the Chancellor on board, it would be mere minutes before the Loyalist Republic attempted to blockade the system and trap them. Zann stood up and walked towards the front of the vessel, where Arianna was with her bodyguard droid. Zann radiated calm, a pillar of peace and serenity even in these dark times.

"We should be there shortly, but rescuing the Chancellor will not be easy. They will catch on quickly to our plan, and they will make escaping from the system difficult. But we will make it if we move quickly."

Atilla stood in the cockpit behind Zann and Ariana, saying nothing but taking everything in. Zann was right, time was of the essence and could not be wasted. Atilla knew this, but went into the back with his men to make sure the requirements of the mission ahead were drilled into their heads. He breifed them as a team, quizzing random ones on the plan, they did not falter in their understanding of the plan, after all they were his best. He sat down with them and mentally prepared for what was to come.

Arianna guided the small craft to it's designated landing bay. Not as close to Matnokki's residence as she'd have liked, but getting much closer had been too risky.

"Too much rides on this, Master Jedi. Matnokki's release must take priority over all else in this mission. With the rightful Chancellor free, and publicly supporting the Alliance, we can stake a more legitimate claim."

The craft settled to the flooring of the docking bay, hydrolics hissing softly. "It's time."

Yann Vilks, cloaked but not too conspicuous-looking, walked towards the Senate building. He had asked for help on countless occassions and had yet to receive it. Perhaps if he showed up in person, they would pay attention.

He noticed a small craft landing in the distance. It looked like a work crew. He smiled. Officially, he was here for similar reasons, at least on New Republic papers. (All the Senators knew who he really was, but didn't want to stir up trouble.) Just as officially, he never left Imperial Space, according to the Remnant. He loved covert operations.

As the craft landed Atilla and his 24 elites stepped out of the craft in no particular order, in no formation, with no weapons, and not even any visible armor. They looked nothing like the professional army they were. They waited outside the craft, then got thier 'tools' one by one. After each had his tools ready for the job ahead they waited for the other to disembark from the ship, so that the mindless grunts they were pretending to be could be directed towards the jobsite.

Vilks entered the Senate building, showing all the proper credentials. Officially, he was here as a representative of a workers' union on Coruscant. He was definitely going to discuss work, but of a completely different kind than his papers implied.

He neared the Senate chamber. His wasn't the most important business in the day, but it was up there on the list, and it was the most important for a while. He liked getting attention, but right now, if things were to move forward in Bothnia, he was going to need it. If he just got batted aside, Bothnia could go down the drain.

Zann stepped out of the cockpit of the shuttle onto the surface of Coruscant, looking completely unrecognizable. He was still a wanted man in the Republic, and any sight of him would have the entirely military swarming down on them in seconds. Needless to say no one would believe they were a work crew anymore. So Zann was disguised, he had grown a fairly long, ragged looking beard in preparation, hes features had taken on a worn, weather beaten look, he was wearing the old, tattered rags of a veteran spacer, and a metal plate covered half of his face to look like cybernetic implants, obscuring his features completely.

Zann may not have looked the same, but he was still as ready as ever for this mission. His lightsabers remained hidden within his clothes, ready to be accessed when the plan was sprung. Zann could not have passed off as a Republic work crew, in doing so he would be put in a position of more prominence. Instead he looked passably like a pilot who would have been flying the ship. If any questions arose he could simply state that he was remaining with his employers, in case the ship needed to be accessed at any time. He looked over at Arianna and spoke with her through the force.

We are ready. It is time to begin.

Arianna nodded. She climbed back on board the small vessel, and waited the port's diagnostics gear to be set up. A simple check up, and customs inspection, but it was a link to the port's mainframe, and from there, the local area's mainframe.

Exjay sat at a diagnostics console, jacked into the ship, and awaiting his link. So far, everything was proceeding according to plan.

Vilks entered the Senate floor in the cubby that had been reserved for the Senator of Bothnia. The Senator had died during the Imperial invasion and no one had replaced her, since the planet was occupied. Yann Vilks hoped that would change.

A Senator was nearing the end of his speech on a bill.

"...because it will increase trade with its neighboring planets and help the Republic. The True Republic, that is, not the Alliance farce."

Wild applause, and most if it seemed to be directed at that last statement. Vilks looked around the chamber as he clapped. Nearly a quarter of the seats were empty, whereas usually, only a handful here and there were. This secession of planets into the Alliance was having an effect on the government, as it might be expected to.

"Thank you, Senator." Risa Leone's words resounded as silence fell. Chancellor Leone, now. She pressed a button on a screen in front of her. "Voting is now open on the bill."

Vilks looked down at his screen. YOU ARE WELCOME TO VOTE AS THE TEMPORARY REPRESENTATIVE OF BOTHNIA IN THE TRUE REPUBLIC. Vilks chuckled. He had no idea what the bill was about. A small window popped up, detailing the main points of the proposal. Vilks snorted. He had never liked that Leone woman.

While Arianna and her droid stayed back at the ship, Atilla's group moved towards the destination. As the group of soldier's moved towards the target building, no one questioned them or suspected anything. They passed many upper-class civilians, and got no more than puzzled glances, or passive or ignorant gestures.

Once they were outside of the building one of Matnokki's attendant's moved to intercept them, "We have been expecting you," she muttered so none would overhear, "You're late, work should have begun an hour ago!" she added, with more passion so that any onlookers or people nearby would think that the workers were legitimate. When they got to the building a squad of Republic soldiers barred their way. "None are to pass without the permission of the Senator."

Matnokki's attendant began to show the guards the papers but they took them and ripped them up, "Matnokki not included..." Before they could cause any farther trouble Atilla gave the order to knock them out. Most of them were subdued but two got away.

Atilla ordered his soldier's to move the unconscious soldiers inside where they could not be seen, and the group began to move with more urgency. Once inside Atilla spoke into his communicator to Arianna, "We are inside the target building."
