Aurin turned to face both Seth, and then Jeshika. His face darkening noticably. "As I just mentioned, before Jeshika decided to interupt me.....I am not in the habit of explaining myself to my Apprentices. Nor even to proven Disciples. Rest assured, those that live thus far, have managed this task because I have willed it so." He turned, walking back towards his throne. "You cry for action? Hiding doesn't suit your view of what the Sith need?" His tone was dark and ominous, and his facial features matched it well, as he sat, turning to face them again. "Very well, then. I have a task for the two of you. Darth Tadzen will accompany you also. Go to Korriban. A potential rival has fled there, and plans to reopen an old training hall. He is older, and more powerful than any of you. He likely has several apprentices, who may well match your skill. If you survive this task, it will only be because you have proven smarter than your foe, not more skilled. If you survive, you will have earned your place in the new Sith." |

Her eyes gave a spark at that. Something about it seemed enticing. Perhaps it was the challenge, the imminent danger, she didn't know. But something about this task oozed with something she liked. A chance to prove oneself should never go ignored. Giving Aurin a more correct bow, Jeshika nodded to him without complaint for the task. She was more than ready to put herself to the test. "As you wish, Aurin." She would have liked it better if she had been going alone, but these two she would just learn to deal with...that or she would kill them. Whichever suited her needs best. For now, they were expendable. |

Seth glared at the Sith Lord. He didn't like Aurin very much and he was relatively certain that everyone knew it. Especially after he was so humiliated during his first training session. Seth had grown stronger since then and his mastery of blade was growing quickly. Still, Aurin was his master and his best bet for further prestige in the galaxy. He bowed elaborately and stalked out of the room. Once in the hallway, he paused for only a moment and looked over his shoulder. Do not get in my way, he warned the other two telepathically then continued on to the hangar where he would hijack the best ship he could find. |
