Darth Aurin sat in his throne, watching as his apprentices gathered. Far fewer in number, they were now. But such was his plan, since killing, or driving out, the other Sith Lords. He still had his own, though. His faithful. Mostly new, and untried, save for the battle at Hypori. Even then, one among their number, had joined after that day. He fixed his eyes on those who called him Master. "I can feel your confusion, my Apprentices. You watch, as I do, as the Sith Empire begins to crumble. And you wonder, why it is we do nothing to prevent it. Is this not so?" |

Davrik Kaang kneeled before Darth Aurin, he was very new to the Sith and he was learning alot about the Dark Side by following Lord Aurin. He noticed that the Sith's numbers have dropped a little since his arrival and he is growing concerned over the depleting numbers. He bravely looked up at the Dark Lord and with a brief pause he spoke. "My master I do not speak for the apprentices assembled here before you but I am wondering why we are not preventing the possible destruction of the Sith, I know from my teachings that the Sith have survived worse than this my lord but this war is far greater than any the Sith have ever been involved in." Davrik finished speaking and he lowered his head once again and awaited Lord Aurin's response to his query. |

Aurin fixed his eyes on Davrik, his newest apprentice. His ebony eyes seemed to bore past the flesh, past the physical. "You speak truly, that no Sith has ever faced a war such as this one. For, truly, there has been no war as all encompasing as this one." He let out a slow breath, his eyes again wandering his students. "Understand, that I am not in the habit of explaining myself to my apprentices. But since no situation like this has ever arisen, I will make an exception." He rose, slowly, his black robes falling about him as he stood, cloaking him, giving the appearance of a near eight foot walking shadow. "The Sith Empire was a pervesion. We have all heard of Darth Bane, and his rule of two. We had long surpassed that number. While I do not agree that two is a good number, as our Order has faced near extinction, as a result, the many dozens we had become, was too much." He began to walk slowly down from the raised dias. His words almost having the feel of real weight to them. Small fluxuations in the Force ebbed as he spoke, miniscule details shifted. "The Order needed trimming. Cutting loose of dead weight. And the Empire was a farce, from it's inception. An empire, without an emperor? Nonsense. No.....we will focus on more subtle manipulations. And, as such, while our empire will join all others, in falling before the coming waves, our Order shall emerge the stronger for it. And as the galaxy rebuilds, it will find us waiting, having been made stronger, not weaker, from the fires that will scar the galaxy forever." |

Davrik as well as the other apprentices stayed kneeled before Darth Aurin as he walked down off the dias among them. Davrik absorbed all of the things Lord Aurin was talking about and he understood why the Sith were not doing anything ro prevent the Sith's fall. Davrik once again spoke to the Dark Lord because of his confidence he felt he could. "Master....I understand now, thank you for the knowledge that you have given all of us. I will stand with you my lord and fight and die for the survival of the Sith Empire." Davrik once again assumed his kneeling position not looking at Darth Aurin. |

Tadzen Soy smiles as he stood at the edge of the gathered Sith and licks his lips slowly as he looks over the few remaining Apprentices in the room. It was a pity that he had not been able to see the end of the battle at Hypori but prudence and a strong sense of self preservation had made him beeline for his hidden Headhunter and sneak into orbit. He had to smile though he had also managed to save a very valuable asset he had gotten on the planet. Sure he had pulled a stupid move according to the Sith philosphy by calling on a Force Meld but it had been an act of desperation. An act worthy of a Sith. With a grin to himself he looks to his side and sees his surviving and more importantly willing partner in the Force Meld from Hypori standing proudly at his side. He had learned alot about of her in the Meld and knew exactly what had prompted her turn to Sith in the first place. He knew what drove her. Though she also knew what drove him but that was minor matter really. His mind in some ways was unfocused enough to prevent someone from gathering his true intentions. Mostly because part of the process used to clone him had hidden some of is deeper commands from his conscious knowledge. With a smile he steps back to the wall and just listens taking in everything he saw with what he knew and what he suspected. As he listens he watches his for lack of a better term partner from the corner of of his eyes while he silently planned the next stage of his plan. A plan that would need the Lord Aurin's support. Or atleast his benevelonce until he was no longer needed. As he thinks Tadzen Soy looks over the other appentices and nods to himself taking in base impressions of them all. As he gathers this impressions he slowly appraises them on potential strengths and weaknesses. He was a preadetor without a distinct prey and would soon need to hunt. The Battle of Hypori and surved to both dull and enhance his need. |

Jeshika had not brought herself any lower than standing in a slouched posture to the side of the the mass of young apprentices. Not that she herself was not young in the weighing of time and years, but she felt old, jaded even. Her eyes showed that age, cold and iced over with dark knowledge. Wisdom beyond her perhaps? Or maybe it was just the simple soul of a warrior who had seen too many battles was shining through what should have been a pair of beautiful ocean blue iris. There was no doubt from her posture however, that this girl wanted nothing to do with the mass of worshipping acolytes bowing and seeming afraid of the throned one as if he were something to behold, something impressive and fearsome. She was not impressed. And she was certainly not afraid. Her attune hearing registered the words of the men speaking and as if growing tired of watching this exchange, she raised her voice over the crowd. It came as nonchalant, as if she really cared little for anything they really were speaking about. And perhaps she did not. "And what makes this Order so great? I see only weaklings clinging to the floor as if they cling to the skirts of their mothers. Who leads this Order, you?" She directed those cold eyes to Aurin as she weaved her way through the crowd of those kneeling, her long cloak striking over some of their backs as she tossed the end over one shoulder and out of her way. "You look as weak as any of those I see kneeling here." Some of the apprentices lifted their eyes to look at each other then to her as if she were insane. Perhaps she was... |

"Ah. She speaks." Aurin fixed his black eyes on the young girl who had dared address him so. Amusement rippled off his emotions through the Force. "My apprentices, this is Jeshika. Her former Master is among those who've already been cleansed. She, however, survived his fate, and has found herself in our company." He continued to walk through the small assemblage of Sith, his tall form dwarfing the young girl he approached. "If I am indeed as you say, then strike me down....and assume your place as the Master of the Sith. I am unarmed. Surely this task is within your mighty abilities?" While his voice contained no trace of sarcasm, a small smile began to spread across his featues, his ghost white skin glinting in the dim lighting. "Take the mantle of Dark Lady of the Sith.....own the loyalty, and fealty of those before you. Kill me." He spread his arms slowly to the sides, offering a target. "If you can." |

A corner of her lip twisted in response to his words. Ah, but she was not so green to take the offered target as something freely given. Her Master had taught her well with many a beating that there was no such thing as an easy kill. Especially when it came to other Sith. She let him come closer, a spark flashing in her eyes. Perhaps it was something under the surface, some creature that enjoyed this game, but as quick as it had come, it was gone agian, replaced only with a blatant arrogance as she began pacing him now, working a tight circle like a feline watching what amounted to a bird. "You think that I am that young? I know that there is more power to you than meets the eye and I would be a fool to challenge you, unarmed or with a saber. You would best me, if not by sheer determination to frighten your flock further into submission or merely just from your experience. I do not wish to kill you, Aurin. Not today." She gave him an exaggerated, courtly bow, mocking him sligtly, and the smirk returned. "And besides...why would I want a floor full of squirming, helpless bugs?" As if on que with her words, four of those kneeling let out sharp cries of pain, their eyes widening and going bloodshot as they fell to their sides and held their heads in screaming agony. Their cries filling the room as she returned to attention to face Aurin. Her eyes looking amused, even as one of the four began to bleed from the ears and eyes and nose. Another stopped screaming a moment later, blood flooding out of his mouth as he choked on it. |

Aurin gave the young girl an amused look. "My students, weak and unworthy as some of them may be, are still my students. And each has their own place and destiny." Aurin focused on the waves of Force....Dark Side...eminating from Jeshika. His years of experience allowed the task of isolating that focused a use of the Dark Side fairly easy. Then he pushed outwards, wrappng his aura over hers, and pushing her powers back towards her. His eyes grew focused. Like Tadzen, she had some experience, and would be no push over....but she was still young, and less directed. He began to push harder, isolating her presense in the Force.....creating an intangible seperation between her and the stricken apprentices. "I suggest you try harder." |

"Why try? I have all I need..." Her eyes clouded a moment, but she let his power wash over her and through her and she struck like a serpant, clamping her own energy around his as she had been waiting to do for the past hour. As she did so, she would assess him, study and even steal some of that energy. It was tantalizingly strong to be sure. Amazing. She thought this to herself for a moment, almost letting a giddy laugh of pleasure escape her. Her eyes slipped shut and she forced his energy back towards him like a mighty fist aimed right for his chest. The slam, if it hit, would knock him back atleast a step. She was well away from being weak. She knew some would look at her as being petite, young and feminine and not think much past a pretty face, but she had learned to deal with it. Hopefully he would not make the grave calculation of thinking her a child. Back behind them, the remaining three of those aflicted with her kenisis calmed as if they were passing out, the other remained motionless on the floor, blood pooling around him. The death however only fueled the power growing in her center. Oh, how she loved using death energy. It made her feel so alive, so in control. She was still riding on the wave of power that had come on the wings of her Master's death. And with this new death fresh on her, she felt electric, as if she very well could kill all those in the room. The Dark Side of the Force really was a blood red color in her eyes. |

Davrik stood as a few of the other apprentices were attacked and he watched their death coming. Davrik was still new to the Dark Side....well to the Force as a whole but he could feel her power when they all assembled before Darth Aurin. Davrik liked what he felt, the power, the ambition from what he was told about her late master she was taking after him completely and Davrik enjoyed watching the show. Davrik chose not to speak out because Lord Aurin could have stopped her completely but he wanted to test her abilities and Davrik was watching the display. "One day I will have such power and then....."Davrik stopped the thought, he knew to bide his time and his power will grow in time and soon he will become very strong in the Dark Side until then he will blend into the shadows and not show his hand too early while he was still training. |

"And now that the cleansing has occurred," Seth chimed in, "What is our next move? I understand your philosophy my lord but we can not simply allow the galaxy to continue to batter at us so." Seth leaned against the wall to the right of Aurin. He refused to kneel among the others like slime. He may still be an acolyte but he suspected that he had far more fighting experience than any of the others. Indeed, his Jar'Kai technique was in its final stages of development and few in history have proven themselves able to keep up with a well trained dual saber wielder. |

Aurin addressed Seth, mirth apparant in his voice. "Seth, child.....the cleansing is far from over. But we shall act, for the betterment of the Order, even as we hide amidst the destruction of the Sith Empire." His attention, however, remained focused on Jeshika. As she pushed, so did he, energies clashing, nearly visible in their intensity. "Impressive. Your Master was wise to keep you hidden, but foolish to believe you would not surpass him. You have steel, girl, and I admire that. But because of who, and what, I am....I can sustain this for far longer than you, and with far less side effects after. Yield, and join our fold. Or by all means, continue to show me what you've got." |

Jeshika was wise enough to know that he spoke the truth. He probably would hold out longer than she herself would. She lacked the practice, the time, the meditations to control such energy in long runs without falling under the weight. She yielded, making sure to push the energy away from her as to only caught the slight ripple of the recoil. Her shoulders tensed with the smack of energy to her body, but she remained standing. And even though she could sense the twitch of the muscles around her knees, she held her proudly. With the slightest bow of the head and a jingle of metallic jewelry on her neck and arms, she let him know that she was backing down. She however would not yield completely...only for now. She would not kneel. She knew she would not be able to stand should she go to a knee. Her muscles would be too unsteady to help her back up. So she made the simpliest and most arrogant of gestures in regard to Aurin. "Then yeild, it appears I must." Her eyes went to the sides as she heard Seth speak, assessing him before looking to Aurin once more. "He does have a point. We can not hide forever, Aurin..." And why should we have to? She thought bitterly. |

Seth pushed himself off the wall and walked into the center of the room, weaving his way through the kneeling Acolytes. It was a sad assembly in truth. Jeshika was right, almost none here were worthy for even the title of Acolyte. Others, well they were worthy of more. "Not completed? Forgive me my lord but when will it be complete?" he hissed, "Look around. You have a room full of sniveling cowards and weakling bawing at your feet. These are your servants, your agents, your hands in the galaxy. These, things represent the Sith Order. Out of all of us here, only four us have the power needed to uphold the Order, five including yourself." He paused for a moment and looked around and the prostrating figures around him. He walked over to one and delivered a sharp hick to its stomach. The air could be heard rushing from the pair of lungs as a result of the impact. The figure moaned but did not move otherwise. "You see?" Seth exclaimed, "This is what the Sith will be known as. If you intend on completing your 'purge' I suggest you start with these and slay them now." |
