Ahem.......

How many people here think cloak shields in Star Wars work like those klingon and romulan jobs? C'mon.....raise your hands.....

All first time NO-GO's at this station.

Cloak Shields in Star Wars:
Sensors do not find them...nor do they penetrate out of the shiled...cloaked ships without force users are comepletely blind. Those with single force users navigating...are still mostly blind.

Shields do not function under the cloak shield.....be careful during reentry.....

Solid matter weapons work fine...good luck aiming....and..hey...where did that missle appear from...hmmm..must be a cloaked ship there.

Energy weapons on the other hand also work fine...but disrupt the cloak shield...usually with damage to the system...but once again...good luck aiming.

side note...cost.....

In the Thrawn triliogy...simple cloak shield technology...cost a little more than a single Imperial class Star Destroyer PER cloak shield. Making the deployment of a large amount of them enough to tax the coffers of the Galactic Empire at it's height of power.
