For my art final project I'm animating part of Feng Shui by Gnarls Barkley. Right now I need to know if there's a way to standardize the crop tool so that it's always the same size and shape. Or any other way I'd be able to kind of cookie-cutter a bunch of square images without shaping some tool to each square. Here's a blown up (and kinda crappy looking) set of six frames: linky-linky. Basically I need a quick way to quickly chop out 170 squares just like those. And if anyone knows a good program that will compile images into a video, speak up. Right now I'm thinking Windows Movie Maker, but that seems slow. I've tried Blaze, but I think it deleted the images I used and didn't even make the video. I'll try it again, though. |

well there is imovie, oh that's right, i'm the only one tha tlike apples *evil laughter* yes though, there is a way to standarise the tool, one of the options when you click the square cutter is to be able to pick the pixel with, i can't explain it with out looking at photo shop, but i know it's there, i would use it to make animated icons for my live journal. |

If you can't find the standarization tool thingy, you can look at the pixels, from the start point to the end point, you know the geometry of a square so if worst comes to worst, you can figure it out that way. |

I was able to finish the project today, and uploaded it to Rapid Share, if anyone's interested. http://rapidshare.com/files/6990195/Feng_Shui.rar.html |

But I hate .rar files, because they are books, and not zippers. |

Don. That was awesome. I watched it so many times in a row after Fat sent it to me on AIM.... it took 3 hours or so to transfer. I would say it was definately worth it. Great job. |

Thanks. I got a really good response from my art class, too. Only animation that's ever been made for the class. And it took way too much time to do.
