Peon Posts: 0 Group: Members Member #749 Joined: October 28, 2009	======= Character ======= 1) Character Name: Rotloc 2) What are your current talent specs (Primary and Secondary): PvE Destruction (0/13/58) with improved soul leech PvP Destruction (0/17/54) for the lols 3) What are your current primary professions and level (Specify any noteworthy recipes that you have): 450 Engineering and 450 Alchemy (Elixir Spec) Nothing too exciting worth mentioning, I proc extra flasks with elixir spec which makes people happy. 4) Link WoWArmory here (Appreciated if you log out in your current pve gear): http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Thaurissan&n=Rotloc 5) Explain to us of your understanding of your primary and secondary specs (I.e your skill rotations/priorities): With my pve destro spec I have glyph of incinerate, conflagrate and lifetap, so I get 50% of my spirit as spell power if I keep glyph of lifetap buff up, which just requires me to lifetap once every 2 immo refreshes, just before refreshing immo, in that lil gap where its too early to refresh immo coz you'll clip it, and too late to cast another incinerate coz immo will drop off. Other than that, chaos bolt after every immo refresh, conflag every cd, incinerate in between, dont bother using corruption unless you've got a spare 2 secs when ur on the move, and if ur not on curse of elements duty, curse of doom every cd. With my pvp spec I stunlock rogues... fun times. ================ In-Game Background ================ 1) What previous guilds were you in before applying here, and why did you leave them? <Blue Spark> on Frostmourne. It doesn't exist anymore. '2nd in charge' left for Adept so the GM chucked the towel in and disbanded the guild. 2) How did you find out about Syck? Realm Forums thread, and noticed in trade chat too. Apparently you're looking for a lock. Turns out I'm looking for a guild that raids convenient to WA times. I like where this relationship could lead. 3) Do you have any referrals within our guild who can support your application?: Nope. 4) What do you expect from joining SycK? Please be specific: Convenient raid times, and a total ass whooping of ToGC... eventually. Actually I can't remember off the top o my head how much of ToGC you've cleared, but I seem to think your progession is about the same as my old guild's, except my old guild didn't like doing Uld25, which was weird, coz we should've been clearing Uld25 every week. Bunch o slackers they were. Yea I'd just like to clear Uld on a regular basis, get into some hardmodes in Uld25, which I didn't get a chance to do, and work through ToGC. 5) How long have you been playing WoW?: Since '06. First ever toon was a gnome warlock, he only made it to 48. Levelled both him and my current lock, who is and always will be my main, as destro. Been destro since forever! I remember my first ever crit over 1k. It was on my gnome, and I'd just gotten Soulfire at lvl 48. I actually completely skipped the 1k bracket and seduce-nuked some poor undead rogue for 2987. I was surprised he didn't WotF out of seduce, I almost fell over backwards when he dropped dead. 6) Do you use any in-game mods? Please specify (i.e Omen, DBM): Omen, Recount, DBM, Dotimer, Atlasloot. If I lag out like a lot of people have been doing in ToGC, I'll disable recount and atlasloot. 7) Do you have Ventrillo and a working speaker/headphone/mic?: Yep. 8) Do you have a reliable PC and an internet connection?(Average fps and ping in-game): Never had a problem with FPS, it sits up around the 60 mark, regardless what I'm doin. Finally decided to get Lowerping recently which dropped my awesome west aussie ping down to 260ish from ~500. So it's all good now. ============== Raiding Background ============== 1) Can you raid monday , wednesday and thursday 10pm-2am server time?: Yep. Perfect raid times. I'm sick of knuckling down to raid with eastern states based guilds while its still daylight. I like the 3 days a week schedule too, very cruisy. 2) What raiding experiences do you have? Please be specific: Didn't get into Naxx til after it was pretty easy to PuG. Cleared Uld10 and Uld25. Haven't had a look at Algalon in either tho. Only missing Firefighter and Yogg hardmodes in 10man (Firefighter totally aint hard btw, I didn't think so anyway). Don't think I've got any hardmodes in 25man. Cleared ToC10 and Toc25. Cleared 4/5 ToGC10. Didn't manage to score any kills in ToGC25. 3) Are you able to attend to at least 70% of our raids? Please specify the day(s) you will not be available: Yep. No problems there. 4) Are you willing to bench-warm or sub out if needed?: Yea for progression raids, no probs. Don't make me sub out if you're only farming normal modes tho! I'll get sad and then angry! >:( and then I'll go play an alt and keep listening on vent. 5) Are you willing to take negative comments/criticism during raids?: Yes, and then I'll be like 'I'll show you!' and do a better job, coz criticism is intended to shock people out of ruts and mediocrity. Nar mean? 6) Although we employ an EPGP system for loot distribution, at certain times we may distribute loot base on necessity: Are you willing to accept that?: Yea I'm not too fussed, so long as we win. 7) THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: We expect all our raiders to be self-dependent for every raid fight, (i.e. bringing your own raid consumables and learning raid fights before-hand). Are you capable of doing that?: Yep. I have cooking and fishing max'd, so between that and my alchemy I've always got my own flasks, pots, fish feasts and personal food buffs. I do try to learn as much of the fights as possible, but since there's no real consequences to making a mistake in a computer game (apart from people getting frustrated and thinking they're wasting time) sometimes its quicker and easier to jump in and learn as you go. I'm a fast learner btw. Lastly, what does the acronym C.M.N.S stands for? (If you don't know, make a guess): Connection-Mode Network Service? That's what Google told me. I wouldn't have a clue otherwise. Mind you, the first thought that popped into my head was Cunt Mages Never Spellsteal but that doesn't make sense. I understand a lot of raiding guilds want people to be certain specs and professions, but I'm only happy playing my lock as destro. It's just rather convenient for me that destro is the best raiding/top dps spec out atm. I've never been afflic and I tried demo once or twice in TBC when it was the only viable arena spec and changed back after a few hours coz I decided playing a spec as gay as that wasn't worth it. Apologies if thats a bit close minded. I do my job as a lock very well though, and I don't die to stupid shit. Oh, on a side note, I also have an 80 tauren shamy named Coltor (its backwards) who I played the most in TBC. He's resto and only in naxx gear. Don't play him much atm, he's just my enchanting/disenchanting and herb gathering bitch. And I have an 80 orc warrior named Redm�na, who I have been playing the most in the last month or so since my old guild disbanded. Been gearing him up as a tank, he's at 32.9k hp unbuffed atm, 3745 gs i think.
