Name: Cecilia “C.C Mac” MacArthur
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Grade: Senior
School: George Hunter High School
Hobbies and Interests: Stand-up Comedy, Social Media, Sports Commentary, Partying

Appearance: Cecilia MacArthur is a petite young woman that stands roughly five feet tall and weighs in at one hundred and ten pounds. She has what some would call a pear shaped body possessing of small shoulders and waist but a defined and pronounced set of hips. She is someone who avoids physical activity and her body shows a correlating amount of softness in terms of lack of muscle. Her fingers are long and scholarly though her nails are routinely bitten down to the cuticle. C.C’s eyes are big, blue and round. Her skin is alabaster throughout with distinct and prominent freckles on the bridge of her pointed nose and covering her thin cheeks. Her lips are large and pouty protecting her large white teeth the top of which are pronounced due to a slight overbite. Long strawberry blonde hair is tied unto itself into a casual and sloppy bun near constantly though that does very little in keeping persistent hairs out of her face. Untied up her hair stretches to her backside easily. Cecilia dresses conservatively preferring dresses and blouses with capri pants to show off a certain degree of femininity in fashion that she doesn’t in figure. In spite of a sour expression seemingly permanently transfixed to her face she prefers bright colors and clothes that stress both pragmaticism and comfort as well as fashionability.

On the day of the abduction Cecilia was wearing a long and billowy yellow sundress with a thin white cardigan and a pair of nondescript flat black shoes. Possessing astigmatism and nearsightedness thick plastic rimmed glasses rest on her face in the style of Buddy Holly. She has no jewelry aside from a sterling silver bracelet with two C charms hanging from it.

Biography: Cecilia Christina MacArthur is the eldest daughter of Doctors’ Charles Christian MacArthur and Evelyn Richards-MacArthur born in Manhattan, New York while both of her parents attended Columbia University. Cecilia’s grandfather, Jonas Richards, on her mother’s side was very old money and had made quite a fortune for himself in New York real estate. Her father’s family is noticeably out of the picture. While Evelyn was someone who was born with a silver spoon and raised in New York, Charles was a product of the foster care system of Tennessee, was raised within the city of Chattanooga proper and even did his undergraduate studies at University of Tennessee in Knoxville on an academic scholarship. Evelyn and Charles met at Columbia during Med School and began dating almost immediately. Six months after they started dating Evelyn got pregnant with Cecilia and Charles ended up proposing.

In spite of not receiving her grandfather’s blessing Cecilia’s parents married in a small ceremony at the courthouse with a short engagement only lasting a few weeks. Cecilia’s grandfather would not speak to his daughter in spite of living in the same city as her until after Cecilia’s birth June 6th 2000. Evelyn was the only daughter of three children sired by Jonas and Abigail Richards and it was clear that she had enjoyed a certain amount of preferential treatment from her father. While Evelyn had crossed her father by getting pregnant and eloping with Charles, Cecilia had done no such wrong and inherited his affections becoming his “Princess” by proxy.

Jonas Richards may have made his fortune in real estate but he always fancied himself a showman and from an early age he exposed Cecilia to comedic talents like Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Cosby and by the time she was six years old she was even watching raunchier comedians like Richard Pryor, George Carlin and Eddie Murphy. Her parents in general abhorred the effect that this had on their little girl but grandpa Richards was the Chief Counsel to his own defense more often than not. He did what he wanted and Cecilia was raised in his image for the most part. Her parents largely being busy with school and their careers and unable to refuse the gifts that came with Jonas’ positive opinion

In elementary school Cecilia was a troublemaker who often got in trouble for using inappropriate language and for bullying her fellow students with vicious verbal barbs. From an early age she was shown to be someone who was aggressive, combative, overly sensitive and overly defensive about her sensitivity. She often got in trouble and was disciplined but was shown to be a great and competent student. Cecilia in spite of her combative and often dismissive nature was a very good student and through elementary and middle school she was nearly a perfect A student. Her favorite subjects were History and English though she was more talented in Math and the Sciences.

Her parents were both doing their residencies in the Columbia University Medical Center and Cecilia was raised in large part in New York City. She was put in acting classes at a young age and like every kid had Broadway dreams until she was told her singing ability resembled that of a pubescent frog and that she was blessed with not two but four left feet. Still, she was very much capable of projecting her voice and she began to find success and great amusement in ‘Who’s Line is it Anyway’ style Improv games.

While her parents slaved away in Med School as students and later at the Medical Center proper as doctors Jonas Richards began to enjoy retirement and part of that was taking a great involvement in his grand daughters life. Along with being a fan of stand up and sketch comedy Jonas was also an avid fan of New York sports specifically the Knicks, the Giants, the Yankees and for the month of March and March alone the Syracuse Orange. Jonas was a Knicks season ticket holder and he enjoyed several seasons (from 2007-2013) of Knicks basketball with his granddaughter. The two also saw many Giants and Yankees games in that time span and Cecilia is a loud and rambunctious sports fan. Talking trash and heckling are both part of the spectacle and were heavily encouraged by her grandfather and Cecilia’s favorite picture of her and him happens to be from a 2012 Super Bowl party where both of them were flipping one of her grandfather’s former business partners (in full Patriots gear no less) off.

Cecilia largely went through middle school as she went through elementary school in New York enjoying a private school education with plenty of artistic enrichment coming in the form of school plays and also theater camps during the summer. When she was thirteen years old her mother got pregnant again giving birth to her little brother Jonathan Evan MacArthur. At fourteen her family was faced with tragedy as her grandfather Jonas passed very suddenly of a heart attack at seventy-eight years old. It was the shock to most that the will was split five ways but with none other than Cecilia, his grand daughter, being given 30% of her grandfather’s fortune, nearly double what her mother and uncles were given. Cecilia was remarkably close to her grandfather and took his death very seriously, however, it was clear almost immediately after the reading of the will that Cecilia was now blessed with a large amount of jealousy and resentment from her uncles and to a certain extent even her mother.

Dr. MacArthur-Richards had always been an ambitious and driven sort of woman but her relationship with her father never improved after her marriage to her husband in spite of her playing a major role and having her family constantly present in her father’s life. Her father’s death lead to Evelyn spiraling into a depression and using alcohol as a crutch. This came to a head when Cecilia came home from theater camp shortly before her Freshman year to find her mother passed out and bleeding from the back of her head on the floor. She had drank too much and slipped and fell, causing her to both sprain her wrist in trying to break the fall and get a concussion when her head finally and aggressively slammed into the floor. With her younger brother barely a toddler this shocked and scared Cecilia. She called her father immediately.

When her father came home after being called frantically it was agreed that it would be best for them to move somewhere quieter and for Evelyn to take a brief break from work and focus on rehabilitation. Luckily, Charles, an experienced medical doctor in his own right still had connections in Tennessee and never one to let bad luck get in the way of a good opportunity, he decided to seek to open a private practice. Both a childhood friend and former fraternity brother at UT was able to get Charles a nice office location in downtown Chattanooga. Charles moved his foster mother affectionately referred to as Nana Fiona to help take care of his toddler son and his wife was sent to a rehab facility in the country where she would spend ninety-days in detox and therapy sessions. Roughly six months after getting released from therapy she began working as a medical doctor at her husband's practice.

Cecilia had mixed feelings of moving to Tennessee and it caused for a lot more resentment to be built on her end towards her mother. She was mad at the woman for getting sick, mad at her for taking her away from New York and mad at her for being mad at Cecilia. The eldest MacArthur scion started her career at George Hunter High School her Freshman year and it being her first experience with public school caused it to be quite the culture shock. Cecilia in general had a standoffish relationship with her fellow students and her teachers causing a degree of isolation and drop in her grades. It was tough dealing with the death of her grandfather, it was tough dealing with her mother’s substance abuse and it was tough being a North East girl now living in the Deep South.

Her Freshman and Sophomore year were mostly spent in the confines of her room watching videos on YouTube and working on her homework. It was her becoming a fan of several other teen vlogers that caused her to try it herself and eventually her vlog turned into both video diary and also a place for her to spout hot sports takes and voice her frustrations or elations with New York sports. Having no one really to speak with about New York teams in Tennessee she soon began to focus on her growing YouTube career and becoming more of a social media presence. She would pick fights with ESPN personalities on twitter, argue with beat writers and bloggers alike. Although only fifteen she had a very tenacious online presence and was much better at talking to a camera by herself than she had ever been in acting as a child.

At the end of her Sophomore year she turned sixteen and was able to petition both her father and her trustee for the funds for a vehicle. C.C. drives a black 2013 Dodge Challenger she affectionately calls Darth Vader. Having a vehicle represented a level of freedom for her and she quickly capitalized it by trying to parlay her social media and YouTube fame into a stand-up career. That summer Cecilia began a routine of performing at open mics. First with her father present and then eventually when she showed enough dedication and he became both busy with work and more comfortable with whatever image of good behavior she sold him those first few weeks, by herself.

Cecilia soon became a fixture at comedy open mics in the city, wielding a sour expression and a child like fashion, her own comedy styling was unique because of how offensive and profane it was paired with how innocent she looked and how young she actually was. Delivering Andrew “Dice” Clay style vulgarities with an Aubrey Plaza style delivery Cecilia’s comedy style can be described as transgressive and provocative and this is very much by design. Cecilia enjoys causing discomfort and awkwardness in others and is an effectual provocateur on the stage--though the comedy is often hit or miss. She is quite the controversial figure online with both a large amount of fans and haters and she often seeks to sow discord with both of those communities to grow her own social media influence.

Her stage name C.C. Mac is in both her twitter, her twitch, her snapchat, Instagram and YouTube accounts and she is both ritualistic and disciplined in her role as a content creator. Constantly filming her reactions to videos, her reactions to other reactors, her reactions to games and also general slice of life stuff. C.C. puts out at least three videos a day and always makes sure to make them over ten minutes to maximize on ad dollars.

Around school C.C sees herself as above her fellow students culturally, intellectually and in terms of amusement. She has very few friends and a lot of her vlogs and YouTube videos are mockings of her school life and classmates. She is someone who is a political libertarian but has profited far too much from making fun of President Canon to really call herself a fan. C.C doesn’t care about her teachers or their rules and she can often be seen with either her phone under her desk or asleep. She has gotten detention and served indoor suspensions several times throughout her school career due to sleeping in class or mouthing off to a teacher or classmate.

Her grades in particular are very bad and she would’ve dropped out of school already if it was not for her trust kicking in at 18. Cecilia currently has a C- grade average and due to a serious bout of Senioritis likely not to graduate due to completely disengaging in her academic career her last two years of high school. A surprise to both her doctor parents, C.C. does not care about potentially not graduating and does not plan to go to college and instead has plans to return to New York and try to chase the comedy dream for real.

Over the last year and a half that she has taken to performing stand up Cecilia has become a much more of a rebel and hedonistic sort of person. The comedians she hangs out with at night and the setting of bars largely leading to general seedy behavior. Cecilia cannot drink at bars largely because they know her and her stage presence but she has spent many a night in fellow comedians apartments getting drunk and also engaging in casual drug use. Her YouTube career and monthly allowance has dictated by her grandfather’s will cause her to have a lot more disposable income than the average high school student. Cecilia sees this all as part of her image and finds herself wanting to both cash in on her conventional feminine looks paired with a traditionally masculine aggression both sexually and in terms of her capacity for inebriation. She is someone who really enjoys a good time and finds that a hangover headache can really add a certain level of theatrics and disdain to her complaining about the New York Knicks starting five. She identifies as both bi-sexual and polyamorous though she has never had a relationship last more than three months the polyamory might just be a fear of personal commitment. While falling under the LGBT umbrella C.C does not have universal tolerance for everyone under the umbrella and her comedy routine has a lot of material based upon mocking transgender and other 'label happy' demographics that fall under the umbrella. Infamy over fame is without a doubt the prerogative of C.C Mac.

She also had a video go viral in late November of 2017 illustrating both her shock, rage and protest in the New York Giants benching their two time super bowl winning Quarterback Eli Manning and eventually had over 500,000 shares on Facebook and found its way on ESPN’s SportsCenter and Sportsnation television shows. Cecilia in general feels empowered by her successes and her much older social circle and wide social media influence. She often refers to herself as the five foot Lebron James because quite simply she is the queen--of what and of who are often subject to debate and also to change.

C.C is simply going through the motions at this point in her high school career, eager to move back to New York to be among her people and in a city truly capable of containing her in ways that Chattanooga never could.

Advantages: C.C due to her experience on the stage has a very large amount of emotional intelligence and can read a room very well. She is also fiercely independent, self disciplined and self motivated with a seemingly unwavering and unshakeable belief in herself. Possesses a degree of book and street smarts due to her career ambitions paired with her earlier life and how she was raised.
Disadvantages: Is physically much smaller than her fellow students and not all physically capable possessing both a lack of stamina and a lack of strength and speed to people of comparable size and age. Is both very argumentative and naturally aggressive with little control over keeping her mouth shut. While capable of reading a room and possessing a good amount of empathy the way she was raised and her general view of her classmates paired with her general holier than thou attitude makes it hard for her to both relate to her fellow students and build relationships with them. Without her glasses she is nearly legally blind with both nearsightedness and blurry vision.

I'll be getting C.C. today. She's DENIED pending some extensive edits, so let's get into it.

What effects did Cecilia's exposure to stand-up and raunchy comedy have that her parents disliked?

How old are Cecilia's brothers and what are their names? They aren't mentioned at all in her profile until her mother's accident is brought up. What happened in the aftermath of Evelyn's accident, by the way? We jump straight from Cecilia finding her unconscious and calling her father to the family deciding to move.

Why did Cecilia's parents decide to send her to public school in Chattanooga when she had always attended private school before the move? Chattanooga has some well-regarded private schools and I doubt they would be much more expensive than a private school in New York, if not cheaper.

How old exactly was C.C. when she started performing at open mic nights, and where? A lot of these events take place at bars and such, where she wouldn't be allowed without an adult.

Does C.C. make money off of her online presence? If so, her parents should be involved in that somehow since she's under 18. How much time on average does she spend creating videos? To put out three videos every single day would take an immense amount of time between filming and editing unless she's uploading everything she records as soon as she records it without any embellishment; assuming that she isn't constantly skipping school (which would be its own problem) I just don't think she'd have the time.

You can't just not graduate from high school. You have to go through a process of either dropping out, applying for a GED, or taking remedial classes up to and including repeating the year in order to fulfill the graduation requirements. How is C.C.'s family dealing with her poor grades and behavior? If she's been suspended multiple times, has there been talk of expulsion?

When did C.C. decide to become libertarian? Are or were any of her family members libertarian?

C.C. is 17. What is she doing going to bars and hanging out in older people's apartments getting drunk and using drugs? Does she at least have a fake I.D.? Do her parents play any part in her life? They should be heavily involved with some of the things that she's doing simply because she's a minor.

What is C.C.'s relationship with her family at this point? Her brothers don't seem to really exist, and her parents apparently don't care that she's going out on the town all the time and practically failing high school.

C.C.'s advantage of emotional intelligence and being able to read a room does not come up at all in her profile. I would even say that it seems contradictory to her personality and tendency towards crudeness and aggression.

Spelling and grammar issues:

First and foremost, I'm going to pick on the severe lack of commas here, because you have a lot of run-on sentences that make the profile hard to read. I recommend running this through a word processor's grammar check and adding commas where suggested, as that will make C.C. a much smoother read.

Sentences such as:
Quote:

She was put in acting classes at a young age and like every kid had Broadway dreams until she was told her singing ability resembled that of a pubescent frog and that she was blessed with not two but four left feet.

are overly flowery and should be changed or removed to bring the profile in with more of a dry tone.

Quote:

She often got in trouble and was disciplined but was shown to be a great and competent student. Cecilia in spite of her combative and often dismissive nature was a very good student and through elementary and middle school she was nearly a perfect A student.

Redundancy.

A lot of things such as "med school" and the names of school subjects and years are capitalized when they don't need to be.

Post in here once you've made those edits, and I'll give C.C. another look.

Don't be so gauche, Steve, it's beneath you."
