Name: Allison Hannigan Gender: Female Age: 18 Grade: Senior School: George Hunter High School Hobbies and Interests: Instagram, parties, frat boy types, fashion, pretty and expensive things. Appearance: Allison has slightly feathered blonde hair that falls to her shoulder blades. The tips are frequently died a color that she then designs her wardrobe around until her next hair appointment. She also keeps her eyebrows trimmed and dyed a lighter color than her natural brown, as she has no interest in anyone knowing that blonde is not her natural color. She stands at 5’2”, however would not be caught dead in anything less than 3-inch heels in school or in public. Her face is finely contoured, with naturally high cheekbones and a narrow nose. She has a single piercing in each ear, in which she preferably places dangly and expensive earrings. She typically wears a small diamond stud in one nostril. Her lips are full and luscious, leading many to believe she may have them regularly augmented. Her eyes are a very light pale green, with naturally large irises. Her skin is porcelain and her expertise with makeup keeps the appearance that her complexion is flawless. She has ample breasts and wide hips, with a relatively narrow waist. She was blessed with a level of genetics that allows her to maintain her shapely figure without much effort. She has a relatively flat stomach; however, she does not put serious effort into fitness beyond a half hour on the elliptical and another half hour taking selfies in various colorful sports bras and leggings. Her style of dress can be equally described as opulent and gregarious. She tends to wear absurdly expensive name brand clothing, mimicking the starlets she sees in the tabloids and on Instagram. Her outfits are usually colored to match her hair color of the month, and she spends a lot of time making her appearance look effortless. She is generally aware of the effect she has on the opposite sex, and is not above wearing various colors or outfits to specifically impress whatever boy she is torturing. Above her daily wear she has recently been keen on a chartreuse Nieman Marcus hooded puffer jacket and a matching chartreuse Fendi purse, as her hair is currently dyed a platinum white at the tips. Biography: Allison Elaine Hannigan was born to George and Patty Hannigan to much ceremony and fanfare in the Hannigan family to a gestational surrogate. She was born an only child, and has remained as such. Allison’s father, George, is the CEO of Astec Inc, a leading producer of asphalt equipment. The family is considered new money in Chattanooga’s gated community, which can create friction within the old South country club crowd, especially since George is an outspoken democratic party supporter and lobbyist. Patty was a former pageant queen who was crowned Ms. Tennessee in 1998, just prior to her marriage to George. The family resides in a large gated estate, with a full time landscaping staff and a security guard. Patty placed Allison in the youth beauty pageant circuit at the age of 5, teaching her poise and grace in her movements. This also exposed Allison to the seedy underbelly of the pageant scene, and sowed the seeds of some of her behavioral problems later in life. Allison was forced to maintain a structured diet regimen, was forced to learn to dance and play the piano, and was shuttled around all over the southeast with her overbearing mother. Resentment started to build early in Allison, as she was not allowed to lead the life of a normal young girl and was instead constantly barraged with a parade of tutors, talent coaches, and make up artists. As Allison matured and entered puberty, her mother began to dial back the pageant circuit. Patty had realized that Allison was not going to be the 5-11, long legged, slim beauty that she was when she had won her crown. At nearly the same time, Allison began realizing that her mother was living vicariously through her. Resentment on both sides began to build, and Patty became more bitter and antagonistic with her daughter every time her eyes developed a new crows foot. Though Allison resented her mother, she had much in common with her. Both had an interest in fashion, and both had no upper limit in the amount they could spend on fancy designer clothing. George, when not completely absent and buried in his work, enabled this behavior by providing his daughter her first credit card at the tender age of 12. Right around this time, Patty gave up on the pageants completely and placed Allison back in school. Allison had a hard time adjusting to normal school, having been privately tutored up to that point. She was bullied by the more socially adept girls in middle school, and was not helped by her small stature. She frequently came home crying, to be greeted by a cold house and a cold mother. Patty often had one too many glasses of wine and took to taking out her loneliness and declining beauty on her daughter. Allison began hearing how she would never measure up, and how she had failed even with a beauty queen mother training her. Patty often also harped on Allison’s weight, causing Allison to develop Bulimia in her early teens. As Allison continued to age, she continued to grow into her body and started to attract the attention of boys. By the time high school began, she had no shortage of suitors and was constantly fielding texts from several boys at once. Near the same time, she discovered the magic of social media, and the validation it provided gave her a sense of self worth that she was never going to receive from her mother. She also discovered communities online for those who are victims of narcissistic parents, and began realizing who her mother truly was. Allison worked through her Bulimia with the help of anonymous online friends in her support groups, and decided that she was no longer going to allow her mother to dictate the course of her life and emotions. She began to understand the threads that spanned most social interactions, and the subtle hand required to tug and pull in ways that would provide benefit for her. She learned that boys were, in general, dumb, and found it easy to manipulate their emotions. She discovered that she could apply specific pressures to her father to obtain access to more money and toys whenever she wanted. In short, Allison had discovered how to control the social situations around her to always come out on top. As Allison approached her senior year of high school, she had grown into a sultry, popular social maven. While externally bubbly and sickly sweet, she was far more analytical than she seemed to be, always attempting to adjust the machinations of the social dynamics around her. The master of the passive aggressive insult, the queen of the subtle jab, she frequently found herself at odds with various other students at George Hunter. Anyone she could not control or manipulate was of no use to her. Allison, being rich, typically looks down on those less fortunate with some measure of pity and disdain. She has little respect for her pliable absentee father, and does not understand how if he makes so much money, anyone could live poor. Allison is a member of several social clubs at the school, if she feels it will provide benefit to her at some point in the future. This does not extend to homecoming court type ceremonies, as they remind her too much of the bad memories surrounding her early pageant lifestyle. Advantages: Allison has become something of an expert at manipulating social dynamics in order to achieve the best possible result for her and her alone. She is also a very pretty, alluring young woman and is not afraid to use her feminine wiles to obtain temporary protection, or anything else she needs. Disadvantages: Allison has lived a sheltered, privileged lifestyle nearly her whole life. She has very rarely experienced real-world hardship. Her poor relationship with her parents has left her with glaring character flaws, and a need for external validation. She has made many enemies over the years by prioritizing her short term happiness, and generally does not find it necessary to plan beyond that. Edited by OnceForgotten, Jan 11 2018, 01:42 PM.

Hi, OnceForgotten! Before we give Allison a full critique, please make sure they conform to the profile template exactly. Specifically, you have an extra line break between advantages and disadvantages that shouldn't be there. Post here to let us know when you've fixed this, and we'll give Allison a look. Thanks! |

Hi OnceForgotten, welcome to v7. Allison is temporarily DENIED, pending some work. Specifically, there are some elements of her profile that need rewriting, and she's in need of some elaboration in a number of places. Name: Allison Hannigan Gender: Female Age: 18 Grade: Senior School: George Hunter High School Hobbies and Interests: Instagram, parties, frat boy types, fashion, pretty and expensive things. The only one of these interests that’s actually explained in the profile is Instagram. Everything else seems incidental to her lifestyle, which means they don’t really count as an interest. Please expand on them as interests, otherwise they’ll need to be replaced with actual hobbies and things that she spends time on. Appearance: Allison has slightly feathered blonde hair that falls to her shoulder blades. The tips are frequently dyed a color that she then designs her wardrobe around until her next hair appointment. She also keeps her eyebrows trimmed and dyed a lighter color than her natural brown, as she has no interest in anyone knowing that blonde is not her natural color. She stands at 5’2”, however she would not be caught dead This reads a bit too casually for an objective profile, so I’d prefer you reword. in anything less than 3-inch heels in school or in public. A weight here too would be appreciated. Does she? Her eyes are a very light pale green, with naturally large irises. Her skin is porcelain and her expertise with makeup keeps the appearance that her complexion is flawless. She has ample breasts and wide hips, with a relatively narrow waist. She was blessed with a level of genetics that allows her to maintain her shapely figure without much effort. She has a relatively flat stomach; however, she does not put serious effort into fitness beyond a half hour on the elliptical and another half hour taking selfies in various colorful sports bras and leggings. The part after the semicolon belongs more in a biography than an appearance section; you could just end it with her saying she does not put serious effort into fitness. Again getting a bit off in tone here, I’d prefer a different word. Above her daily wear she has recently been keen on a chartreuse Nieman Marcus hooded puffer jacket and a matching chartreuse Fendi purse, as her hair is currently dyed a platinum white at the tips. I’m not sure what she actually wears from this description. Some more specific items of clothing in her general wardrobe would help to paint a clearer picture. Biography: Allison Elaine Hannigan was born to George and Patty Hannigan, to much ceremony and fanfare in the Hannigan family, to a gestational surrogate. Why? She was born an only child, and has remained as such. Allison’s father, George, is the CEO of Astec Inc, a leading producer of asphalt equipment. The family is considered new money in Chattanooga’s gated community, which can create friction within the old South country club crowd, especially since George is an outspoken democratic party supporter and lobbyist. Resentment started to build early in Allison, as she was not allowed to lead the life of a normal young girl and was instead constantly barraged with a parade of tutors, talent coaches, and make up artists. As Allison matured and entered puberty, her mother began to dial back the pageant circuit. Nitpick but it wasn’t obvious that she hasn’t been in school up until now, apart from mention of her having tutors, which I assumed reading were related to the pageants. It might be better if you are more explicit that this is the case earlier in the profile. Patty often also harped on Allison’s weight, causing Allison to develop Bulimia Shouldn’t be capitalised. in her early teens. Did neither of her parents pick up on this? I could appreciate that her mother’s terrible and her father’s a workaholic but I would still prefer to know whether they detected it or not, and if so what happened. For that matter, did no-one at school notice? And on a similar note, did the school never pick up on Patty's abuse? Did Allison not ever decide to just tell someone about it? As Allison continued to age, she continued to grow into her body and started to attract the attention of boys. By the time high school began, she had no shortage of suitors and was constantly fielding texts from several boys at once. Not that I'm sure there aren't people who wouldn't find her cute, but is a 5'2" girl who up until now has been the social outsider going to suddenly become the school's bombshell? Near the same time, she discovered the magic of social media, and the validation it provided gave her a sense of self worth that she was never going to receive from her mother. She also discovered communities online for those who are victims of narcissistic parents, and began realizing who her mother truly was. Did these communities never give her advice about local authorities who might actually take issue with Patty's treatment of her daughter? Allison worked through her bulimia with the help of anonymous online friends in her support groups, I have issues with this. Bulimia is obviously a serious illness that can have devastating impacts, and Allison hasn't been removed from her problematic environment that drove her towards it in the first place. The way it's written currently reads as her just overcoming it with some good old fashioned willpower, which I think might come across poorly to people who have struggled with the disorder. Right now her bulimia doesn't really add very much to the profile, so you might want to consider whether it's worth keeping. and decided that she was no longer going to allow her mother to dictate the course of her life and emotions. She began to understand the threads that spanned most social interactions, and the subtle hand required to tug and pull in ways that would provide benefit for her. Why now? It’s not like she only just started school. She learned that boys were, in general, dumb, and found it easy to manipulate their emotions. But in general they aren’t. I’d rephrase this to make it clearer that it's her opinion, as profiles should only be making objective observations. She discovered that she could apply specific pressures to her father to obtain access to more money and toys whenever she wanted. Didn't he give her a credit card to enable her buying what she wanted? Also, she's a bit old by now to be wanting toys, isn't she? In short, Allison had discovered how to control the social situations around her to always come out on top. Does this never backfire? I don't believe Allison can have the entire student base in her palm, after all. As Allison approached her senior year of high school, she had grown into a sultry, popular social maven. While externally bubbly and sickly sweet, she was far more analytical than she seemed to be, always attempting to adjust the machinations of the social dynamics around her. The master of the passive aggressive insult, the queen of the subtle jab, Another tonal issue; the first half covers this fine so you can remove the second part. she frequently found herself at odds with various other students at George Hunter. Anyone she could not control or manipulate was of no use to her. What were the repercussions of this for her? Allison, being rich, typically looks down on those less fortunate with some measure of pity and disdain. She has little respect for her pliable absentee father, and does not understand how if he makes so much money, anyone could live poor. Since when does he live poor? He funds her shopping and they live in a gated community with full time staff. Allison is a member of several social clubs at the school, if she feels it will provide benefit to her at some point in the future. Which ones? Even if she's joining them for personal gain, this is still a strong place to give her some interests. This does not extend to homecoming court type ceremonies, as they remind her too much of the bad memories surrounding her early pageant lifestyle. I could really do with learning more about Allison’s interests and hobbies. What school subjects is she good at bad at? Which ones does she like? What clubs does she have the most fun in, and why? I’m assuming she has interests beyond manipulating everyone around her. Does Allison have any romantic interests, or relationships? She may consider herself some kind of vixen, but I’m curious if she has had actual feelings for anyone. For that matter, what about her friendships? Does she have any genuine ones? If not, does this bother her? What are her long term plans, if any? Advantages: Allison has become something of an expert at manipulating social dynamics in order to achieve the best possible result for her and her alone. She is also a very pretty, alluring young woman and is not afraid to use her feminine wiles to obtain temporary protection, or anything else she needs. Disadvantages: Allison has lived a sheltered, privileged lifestyle nearly her whole life. She has very rarely experienced real-world hardship. Does an abusive mother not count? Nor bulimia? Her poor relationship with her parents has left her with glaring character flaws, and a need for external validation. She has made many enemies over the years by prioritizing her short term happiness, and generally does not find it necessary to plan beyond that. That's it for now, so post here to let me know when you're done, and I'll give Allison another look. Thanks! |
