Welcome to Survival of the Fittest, a RPing board loosely based off of Koshun Takami's Battle Royale, with its own unique plot and spin on the 'deadly game'. We've been around quite a while, and are now in our thirteenth year, so don't worry about us going anywhere any time soon!

That animation's a little shaky. You can fix that though by making sure that the non-moving foot is in the same place every frame, though.

So uh, here's a video of my progress so far.



I've got all basic animations down, and now I need to work on gethits (the animations your character makes when they're... uh... hit...), an intro and taunt, and finally move on to figuring out how hitboxes work so I can get the hitboxes for the current frames and then work on attacks!

Not bad for Day 4.

Has anybody else started yet? If they'd like a point in the right place I can totally be that guiding hand!

Day 11. How is everybody else doing?

I seem to have figured out the CNS and CMD files (to... a reasonable extent), so if anybody needs help, I'm here for ya. Still, most of your early work is probably all sprites.

My best bit of advice to get started is still to, after you've downloaded MUGEN and Fighter Factory, to open up Kung Fu Man in Fighter Factory and take a loooong look at all of his stuff.

Prooooobably not, unless you wanna show off what you managed to accomplish in 2 days.

Upon the completion of the challenge I'll show off what I got, but I barely worked on this at all this month. Things got pretty busy. Hell, I don't even have a single attack, but at least I had animations.

If this were my JOB, maybe I'd do more.
