Welcome to Survival of the Fittest, a RPing board loosely based off of Koshun Takami's Battle Royale, with its own unique plot and spin on the 'deadly game'. We've been around quite a while, and are now in our thirteenth year, so don't worry about us going anywhere any time soon!

If you're a newcomer and interested in joining, then please make sure you check out the rules. You may also want to read the FAQ, introduce yourself and stop by the chat to meet some of our members. If you're still not quite sure where to start, then we have a great New Member's Guide with a lot of useful information about getting going. Don't hesitate to PM a member of staff (they have purple usernames) if you have any questions about SOTF and how to get started!

Let the games begin!

(Tara Behzad continued from Night Shift)

The Student Council meeting was over.

The Student Council meeting was over.

The Student Council meeting was fucking over.

Tara scowled at the ground as she stalked through the halls of Cochise high school. Her backpack was draped over one shoulder, heavy with the damp weight of her exercise clothes. She'd thought she'd have enough time for a quick workout before she caught Herod at the last few minutes of the meeting, but apparently she'd been wrong. Now she had his money and no way to find him. Again.

She didn't want to be here, hunting for a man she hadn't liked talking to in the first place. But this was his money, damn it. She wasn't going to hold on to it for no...

She stopped. Stared. Was that...?

"Herod!" she shouted, running after the man with the apple in his hand.

He looked around. Thank the gods, she hadn't missed him.

Then he spoke.

Wow, she did not like this kid. So cocky as to be unbearable. Arrogant even now somehow, with that fucking apple in his mouth.

She swallowed and swung her bag around, pulling the money he'd left behind the previous night out of the front pocket. "Uh, hang on," she mumbled, fishing around for the change. Was that all of it? God, she hoped so.

"Here," she grunted, handing him the change. "You overpaid for your sandwich last night."

He took the money from her with an expression of faint disgust, and he called her Taranis. A look of quiet disinterest as he watched her, as though what she'd done was meaningless.

"Holy shit, you're an asshole," she said, and turned away from him.

He didn't respond, or try to stop him. Tara wondered vaguely what his reaction was--confused? Angry--but she didn't care enough to look.

Rich and uncaring the night before, seemingly ignorant as to why anyone would have to work a late night shift. Dismissive and disdainful now. She'd wasted enough of her time on this fuck.

(Tara Behzad continued elsewhere)
