Name: Colleen Margaret Lehmbeck Gender: Female Age: 18 (Born 11 Dec. 1993) Grade: 12th School: Aurora High School Hobbies and Interests: Sketching, Band (Euphonium), Soccer (Watching only) Appearance: Colleen is not, nor has she been for quite some time, a particularly attractive girl. Standing 5'7" and weighing roughly 175lbs, Colleen is overweight; The word that first comes to mind for people trying to describe her is often "pudgy". Colleen has long held the attitude that it would be impossible for her to ever be good-looking and doesn't make any particular effort to perfect her appearance, although she at at least bothers about it enough to consider herself presentable. Since middle school, Colleen has typically kept her brown hair in a bob cut. Towards the later part of her junior year in high school, she began to consider growing her hair out and trying a different style; While she hasn't yet let her hair grow to any significant lengths, during her senior year she began to experiment with a shoulder-length bob as opposed to the shorter length that she formerly preferred. Colleen likes the image given by skirts and dresses. She is somewhat self-conscious about exposing too much of her legs, however, so she often wears slacks or long socks underneath them, especially on the occasions when she wears shorter skirts. In contrast with her reluctance to show much of her legs, Colleen likes the feel of having the open air against her arms, rarely wearing long sleeves unless as part of a jacket. In terms of jewelry, Colleen has no piercings, but she often includes simple necklaces as accessories to her. She nearly always wears a small digital wristwatch. On the day of the abduction, Colleen wore a dark violet short-sleeved dress over black capris. Despite its near-constant presence in her outfits, she was not wearing her watch, having forgotten it at home. Biography: Colleen was the second of three children born to Nicholas and Robin "Robbie" Lehmbeck. Both parents had grown up in northern California, moving to the Seattle area between their marriage and the birth of their first child when Nicholas found employment as an engineer for Boeing. Robbie was a housewife and stay-at-home mother until their youngest child entered middle school, at which point she found work as a secretary. At a young age, the three Lehmbeck siblings were all enrolled in a children's soccer league. Though she was not yet as physically unfit as she would eventually become, neither was Colleen particularly athletic. As such, she was often frustrated by her inability to play the game as well as most of the other children on the team, eventually tiring of the sport and dropping out after only a few years of playing. Since she was still brought out to her brother Benjamin's games, she would keep herself occupied by bringing a sketchbook and making drawings based on her surroundings. While she never again made a serious attempt to go back to playing the sport, in time Colleen developed a liking for watching the games, and eventually eagerly attended her brother's games as he continued to play well into high school, as well as following professional soccer leagues. During her early years of elementary school, Colleen would often receive informal tutoring from her elder sister, Elaine, with whom she was quite close at the time. Elaine, in addition to being four years Colleen's senior, had grades near the top of her class, so Colleen did quite well academically and often learned material before it was officially taught in class. She tried on many occasions to help her friends with their work much in the same way her older sister had helped her, but was never really able to figure out how to effectively teach the others, so her attempts usually failed to significantly aid her friend's understanding. At the very end of Colleen's time in elementary school, her sister was progressing into high school. Elaine began spending more time outside the house, and her time at home was often spent talking with friends. As a result, Colleen found herself being forced to study class material by herself. While it went without saying that she had trouble figuring out on her own what her sister had always managed to explain easily, this was a minimal enough change that it did not become a problem. Something that did interfere, however, was the fact that Colleen found studying alone to be much more boring than working with someone else, and without her sister to guide their focus back to the task at hand, Colleen would often end up abandoning studying in favor of doodling in her notebook. Throughout middle school, Colleen's academic standing steadily fell, eventually coming to rest somewhere along the lines of "Mostly C's, several B's, and the occasional D or A". Gradually throughout middle school, Colleen and Elaine's relationship soured. Their home was somewhat small, so the two girls of the family were forced to share a room, and while it might be harsh to say that they grew to dislike each other, living in close proximity to each other led them to argue more and more frequently until Elaine left for college. In contrast with this growing rift between Colleen and her sister, she had become increasingly close to her brother, Benjamin. Being only one year below Colleen in school, it Colleen found that she and her brother were better able to relate to what was going on in each other's lives, while their shared enjoyment of soccer provided them with something that they could watch together (even if they almost invariably ended up supporting opposite teams during any given game). In High School, Colleen would make sporadic attempts to do better in school, but never found the motivation to keep these up for long, instead adopting the mentality that just getting grades that were high enough to pass the class should be considered good enough. Also during this time, Colleen acquired a work permit in hopes of becoming a referee for the children's soccer league, but wasn't considered physically fit enough to serve as a field referee. She was instead given the position of scorekeeper, an assignment that she was content with even if it hadn't been what she had been initially aiming for. Outside of her employment, Colleen's extracurricular activities record is rather unimpressive. She joined band in middle school as a euphonium player and stuck with the program until the end of high school, but never made any effort towards a higher level of musicianship than being able to hit the right notes at the right times on the pieces that the band was playing. She retained sketching as a hobby and had after several years of engaging in the activity become somewhat good at it, but decided against joining their school's Art Club because she figured that if she joined, she would just be doing the same kind of thing that she could be doing by herself outside of the club. Socially, Colleen is rather normal, but her poor work ethic means that, outside of her friends, she has rough relationships with several of her classmates who don't appreciate Colleen's poor work ethic on group projects. The low level of effort that Colleen has put towards her schoolwork has also resulted in a somewhat strained relationship with her father, who had been hoping that Colleen's excellent performance during her early years in school was indicative that she would do well throughout the rest of her education. Colleen received a little bit of sympathy from her mother, who personally didn't attend higher education, didn't begin working until her children were already in middle school, and didn't really consider high academic standing to be as essential to a successful future as her husband. Colleen's plans after graduation involve going on to college at the Eastern Washington University. Her major is currently undecided, though she hopes to have a better feel for what she wants to study within a year or two. Advantages: There isn't much going in Colleen's favor. Years of trying to capture moments of soccer games into a sketch have helped her to develop a good memory for visual details. Disadvantages: Colleen isn't going to be winning confrontations of a primarily physical nature anytime soon. She has also long since fallen into the habit of dealing with problems using only the bare minimum amount of effort needed to overcome them, an attitude which, in addition to the possibility of posing a danger to herself in a situation where the stakes are life-or-death, has also made her a frustrating person to work with in a group. |

Howdy Howdy, I'm Ruggahissy and your gal is temporarily denied pending changes, kay? Appearance Lordy, I have not a clue what this girl looks like. FACE - What color are her eyes? - What color is her hair? I know you said brown, but that's a pretty wide spectrum from light honey brown to dark chocolate brown like I've got. -More on hair; what's the cut look like? Does she have bangs and if so, how are they styled? Is it straight? Is it wavy? Does she wear anything in her hair? - What's the shape of her face? - Color aside, what do her eyes look like? Lashes? Shape? Big? Small? Wide? Narrow? Most expressive part of the face, ya know? - How about eye brows? -Nose? Big? Small? Pointed? Wide? Flat? Upturned? Hooked? - Mouth? Thin lips? Full lips? Shape? - This girl's got no skin color. What color is her skin? How's her skin? She got blemishes? Freckles? Does she wear any makeup? - What about her makes her not attractive? I don't know enough about her face to see that right now. BODY - I need more info on her body type. You said she's a bit pudgy, she's not terribly overweight since she's only about 30 pounds over her ideal weight. What's her body type? If she's muscled then she would weigh that but wouldn't look overweight at all. If it is all fat, is she bottom heavy like a pear shape? Is she top heavy with a big bust? Is she more evenly distributed like an hour glass? I've known girls that were a bit over the recommended weight that were evenly distributed like an hour glass that were quite attractive. - What's her style of dress? You told me she likes skirts and dresses, but what sort? Is she preppy, liking straight skirts and more proper looking dresses? Peasant skirts and bohemian dresses? Punk? More info on her day of abduction outfit would be useful too. Bio -What was her father doing before finding a job in Seattle? Why'd he leave to go to Seattle? - Can you tell me the siblings' names and what ages they are in the first paragraph of the bio? " "Mostly C's, several B's, and the occasional D or A"." Remove things with quotes around them and parenthetical references. Find a way to say that without them. "In High School," Not capitalized! "Also during this time, Colleen acquired a work permit " -Hu? You can legally work in the US at age 16, no work permit needed. - The band, we'll get back to that the end so hold onto that thought. "Art Club because she figured that if she joined, she would just be doing the same kind of thing that she could be doing by herself outside of the club." - Um, that's pretty antisocial. The point of clubs is to share the things you like with people who like the same thing, no? "The low level of effort that Colleen has put towards her schoolwork has also resulted in a somewhat strained relationship with her father, who had been hoping that Colleen's excellent performance during her early years in school was indicative that she would do well throughout the rest of her education." I was going to ask this anyhow, but now seems as good a time as any. So, why don't her parents care that she's a C, occasionally D student? If it bothers her father so, why doesn't he try to help her or get her tutoring? - Eastern Washington University seems like a good fit for this individual because research indicates that a minimum requirement of 2.0 GPA is the standard for the school which is very low with an acceptance rate of nearly 80%. Now, my lovely, we have some things to deal with having reached the end. - The hobbies listed at the top need to be expanded on more because the only one with a real explanation about how she became involved with it is the soccer watching. The band instrument and the drawing shows up without explanation. Please tell me how she became involved in these and why she likes, them, especially the instrument since instruments take time and dedication; things Colleen lacks. Also, as mentioned, remove parenthetical information for the hobbies. - Does this girl have any favorite subjects? Least favorite subjects? - What sort of people does she hang out with? - I need more on her and Benjamin and well as how she interacts with mother and father. - I've got some good personality information from this bio. I understand she's lazy and feckless but....why? Why does she have no drive to do anything at all? She doesn't even seem to want to put in the effort for friends. - How's she been with romantic relationships? That's all I can think of. Post here to let me know when the edits have been made |
