Name: Georgia “Geo” Watson
Gender: Female
Age: 17, turning 18 in September.
Grade: 12
School: Aurora High
Hobbies and Interests: Computer Games (Especially World of Warcraft), Online Roleplaying, Theatre, Dubstep.

Appearance: Georgia has bright red hair, which reaches down to her neck, with sidebangs to the left. She has a round, somewhat pretty face, with a cute nose and luscious lips. However, her body is not very muscular, on top of being rather flat chested and a little bit pudgy. She’s hardly overweight, but at 130 lbs and 5’1, she could be described as short and stout. Her eyes are bright green, and are considered absolutely gorgeous by most. They are the first thing one would notice when looking at her, which says a lot considering her extremely bright red hair. Her skin is extremely pale, as a result of her British genes, and the fact that she spends a lot of time indoors.

Geo often prefers to wear skintight gray jeans, her trusty gray cardigan and a black leather jacket. She usually wears a pair of woolly boots. When this outfit gets too warm (during summers), she has a tendency to switch over to various dresses (usually light blue) and flip flops. Most of the time, she wears red lipstick, and a tad too much eyeliner. Her nails are usually painted black, and she usually has several rings. To top it all off, she also has several piercings in her ears, including lobe piercings, cartilage piercings, and an industrial in her left ear. She also has a vertical labret piercing, with black studs.

Biography: Georgia Watson was born in Brighton, England, in the year 1994, to Thomas and Rebekah Watson. Thomas was a Seattle-born American, while Rebekah was a local Brighton-girl. She was the second of three children, with older brother Shaun and later younger sister Claire. From an early age, she discovered that she was interested in theater and acting, and participated in many school plays during her early years in England. When she was 6 years old, her father bought her brother a Nintendo N64 (with two controllers) for Christmas. Shaun quickly began playing with his sister, resulting in her getting into gaming at a very early age.

In the beginning, Georgia, or Geo as she always preferred to be called, had a rather normal childhood, living with her parents in England. She was never the most popular girl at school, but she had no shortage of friends. She began playing first-person shooters when she was 10, mostly focusing on Counter Strike. This has led to an obsession with Call of Duty and Battlefield during later years.

However, as she grew up, her family situation worsened. By the time she was 11, her parents were always arguing, and even though they just had another baby (Claire), they just kept fighting. Not only that, the amount of attention her mother paid to Shaun made Geo feel neglected. Shaun had always been her mother's favorite, being her first born and all, but the older both Geo and Shaun got, the more apparent it became. As a result, Geo began disliking her everyday life. However, her brother never gloated or treated her poorly. Truth be told, Shaun admitted to feeling a bit uncomfortable with always getting so much attention. Her brother's sympathy was what kept both her and Shaun close, despite later events. It was around this time that the theater classes at her school were cancelled, which meant that Georgia stopped acting, making her feel even less happy about her life.

Because of her deteriorating family situation, Geo wanted to find some form of escape, which she could immerse herself in and just forget. Luckily for her, when she was 12, she was introduced by her older brother to World of Warcraft. She made many friends online, and began playing many hours every day. However, her true passion only emerged at 13, when Geo entered the roleplaying realm Moonglade EU. There, she quickly fell in love with the concept of roleplaying, which she has been doing with unprecedented fervor and excitement ever since. Her favorite kinds of characters to play are both pure and good characters, like a barmaid or an innocent priestess, or dark evil sorceresses and assassins, i.e. very different places on the spectrum of good and evil.

Throughout this time, her father was concerned for her well-being. She spent more and more time in front of the computer, and whilst Rebekah was fine with this, as it kept her out of the way, Thomas was not. He started bringing Geo places, like amusement parks or into town to have lunch. Her father did make her feel better at the time, but when the day was over, and she was back in her dark room, she still felt bad about her relationship with her mother, so it didn't help too much.

When Geo was 15, it finally happened. Her parents divorced. Her father decided to move back to where he grew up, in Seattle, Washington. Geo herself was given a choice. She could stay with her mother and siblings in England, or go to America with her father, who actually paid attention to her.

Once she got to Seattle, she quickly settled in at her new school, Aurora High. She made a few friends, but mostly kept to herself and her roleplaying. In normal everyday life she was the pudgy highschooler Georgia, in World of Warcraft she was Morath Shadowscale, Orc Warlock of the Enclave and Demon Summoner Extraordinaire.

However, all the late nights spent at the computer has taken a toll on her schoolwork. Thomas is well aware that his daughter would much rather spend her time slaying dragons than study algebra, and as such, he has started restricting her computer time and enrolled her in drama classes to keep her occupied. At first, Geo was reluctant, but she has quickly re-established her passion for theater.

She is seen by the other kids around school as a cute (albeit a bit short and pudgy) scenester-looking British girl, even though she actually prefers listening to dubstep (Her favorite being Skrillex). Furthermore, during her stay at Aurora she has fallen to peer pressure, and has begun smoking. Right now, she smokes pretty casually, only having three or four cigarettes a day, which might partially be why her father hasn't noticed that she smokes yet.

Most of her friends are gamers just like her, as well as theater kids. One of her favorite ways to pass time except for roleplaying is to play games with them. Most of them are fairly open to try new kinds of music, which is a bonus, considering how often Geo tends to spam them with her favorite dubstep songs. She has rarely gone to any concerts, but she is still a dedicated fan of the genre.

Her relationship with her father is close, and she treasures her father and siblings immensely. She still stays in touch with Shaun over World of Warcraft, where they raid together. Claire is still a bit young to be able to access the internet by herself, but Geo often gets to talk to her on Skype, courtesy of her brother. Geo still values and treasures both her brother and sister, even though she can't actually see them in person that often. She is, however, not too happy about her mother, and their relationship is icy at best.

Geo can be shy at times around people she doesn’t know, loud and brazen around others that she does know, and she often falls to peer pressure. Much of her behavior stems from her desire to be well liked, which is a result of the lack of attention paid to her earlier in her life by her mother. Otherwise, Geo doesn’t really gossip or go shopping. What she likes doing is playing video games and hanging out with her closest friends, and now as of late, going to her drama classes.

Advantages: Geo is seemingly harmless, and will probably not be taken as a threat by other, more physically imposing, students. Her theatre skills, combined with her talent for making up stories that she's learned from roleplaying so much, might serve her well in deceiving anyone she might run into.
Disadvantages: She is in very poor physical shape, spending most of her time infront of a computer. She also smokes (albeit casually), meaning she can’t run very far without shortage of breath. She is short, resulting in lack of speed and mobility. She’s not very flexible or athletic at all. She might be under the mistaken impression that she can fire a gun because of her avid FPS gaming.

Hiya, Delroy! Before we give Geo a full critique, please be sure her profile matches the template. Specifically, please bold the stuff that needs to be bolded.

Post when you've got that done, and we'll give her a full critique. Thanks!

Hey, Delroy.

Georgia is temporarily denied, pending a few adjustments.

-

"Her eyes are bright green, and are considered absolutely gorgeous by most"

* Whilst it's fine for Georgia's eyes to be very striking 'absolutely gorgeous' is overly subjective. I'd prefer if this were tweaked towards more of an emphasis on her eyes being noticeable rather than beautiful.

* Georgia's origins could do with more explanation. It's fine for one parent to be American, but there's no explanation for why her American father came to be Brighton in the first place. His career isn't explained. Whilst the profile isn't about Georgia's parents, without a little bit of extra context here, the entire thing seems rather odd. Please explain what brought her father to the UK. It would also help to define the age gap between Georgia and her siblings, as it wasn't until the end of the profile that there's the necessary information to infer that Claire is just a kid, still.

* You segue, in the opening paragraph, from 'From an early age' to 'When she was six years old' - this implies that Georgia was interested in theatre whilst under 6 years old. I find this... improbable at best, but it otherwise requires further explanation. There's no indication of how Georgia got involved in this hobby - if it was from when she was young, then I can only assume parental influence was involved. That's fine, but regardless, the hobby definitely needs more detail.

* 'In the beginning' is a slightly odd turn of phrase. In the beginning of what?

* She was allowed to start playing FPSs at 10?

-"By the time she was 11, her parents were always arguing, and even though they just had another baby (Claire), they just kept fighting. Not only that, the amount of attention her mother paid to Shaun made Geo feel neglected. Shaun had always been her mother's favorite, being her first born and all, but the older both Geo and Shaun got, the more apparent it became"

* This part is a little bit vague for my liking. What were these arguments and fights over? How aware of them was Georgia? Also, how did her mother show favouritism towards Shaun? Just because he's the eldest? That seems a little superficial to me.

- "It was around this time that the theater classes at her school were cancelled, which meant that Georgia stopped acting, making her feel even less happy about her life."

* Other than a single line, where Georgia was under six, chronologically (And so wasn't at school yet, or was only in primary school plays), there has been nothing about Georgia's hobby of theatre. The cancellation also seems to be a bit arbitrary - designed mostly just to make Geo that little bit more miserable. It could do with extra information around it.

"Because of her deteriorating family situation, Geo wanted to find some form of escape, which she could immerse herself in and just forget."

* You still haven't elaborated on why things were so bad between her parents. All couples argue.

- "When Geo was 15, it finally happened.

In normal everyday life she was the pudgy highschooler Georgia, in World of Warcraft she was Morath Shadowscale, Orc Warlock of the Enclave and Demon Summoner Extraordinaire."

* Whoa whoa whoa! Hold your horses! Her mom cared so little about her that she was willing to see her to go off to America? The differences were such that her dad wanted to leave the country entirely - away from his other two kids? You also jump straight from 'Georgia was given a choice' to her being in Seattle. There's no indication of any kind of thought process or internal conflict or any sense that Georgia even made a decision at all. This section needs to have considerable expansion. Why was it so easy for Georgia to settle when she's such an escapist? Did she find any issues with other students because of being British? There is - I feel, a TON of missing information here, and the entire move has been more or less brushed under the carpet. It currently, being blunt, just feels like a bit of an excuse to get Georgia into America.

- However, all the late nights spent at the computer has taken a toll on her schoolwork."

* Since this is the first time you've mentioned school work at all, we really wouldn't know. More detail around this - and Georgia's general grades would be nice.

- "Thomas is well aware that his daughter would much rather spend her time slaying dragons than study algebra, and as such, he has started restricting her computer time and enrolled her in drama classes to keep her occupied. At first, Geo was reluctant, but she has quickly re-established her passion for theater."

* Again, the theatre hobby in general still needs more information. Also, considering how big a deal the online world is to Georgia, I can't imagine having restrictions went down well. I'm not asking for a full blown conflict, but an indication of Georgia's reaction would be good.

- "She is seen by the other kids around school as a cute (albeit a bit short and pudgy) scenester-looking British girl, even though she actually prefers listening to dubstep (Her favorite being Skrillex). Furthermore, during her stay at Aurora she has fallen to peer pressure, and has begun smoking. Right now, she smokes pretty casually, only having three or four cigarettes a day, which might partially be why her father hasn't noticed that she smokes yet. "

* The front and second half of this paragraph talk about two completely different things. I'd elaborate further on how people tend to view Georgia (though again, please be careful describing how other characters see Georgia, as this restricts the options of handlers who are RPing with you). This single mention of Dubstep isn't really enough to qualify as a 'hobby and interest' - so if tht type of music is a big deal to Georgia, it needs to be fleshed out.

"considering how often Geo tends to spam them with her favorite dubstep songs. She has rarely gone to any concerts, but she is still a dedicated fan of the genre."

* Okay good, it's mentioned, but unless I've missed something, you haven't explained how Georgia got into Dubstep in the first place, to become such a dedicated fan.

- "She is, however, not too happy about her mother, and their relationship is icy at best."

* as I mentioned earlier... this needs some more information, as currently it comes across as her mom playing favourites for no real reason.

- "Geo can be shy at times around people she doesn’t know, loud and brazen around others that she does know, and she often falls to peer pressure."

* You're looking for 'succumbs' rather than 'falls' - and why is Georgia so susceptible to others?

- "Geo is seemingly harmless, and will probably not be taken as a threat by other, more physically imposing, students. "

* This is kind've a wishy-washy advantage. I'd focus more on not looking threatening as opposed to just being 'seemingly harmless', as that could mean a lot.

- "Her theatre skills, combined with her talent for making up stories that she's learned from roleplaying so much, might serve her well in deceiving anyone she might run into."

* What is meant by theatre skills? Elocution? Projection? I'm assuming you're talking about acting but if so, specify acting instead of the vague 'theatre skills'. Also roleplaying is more writing than it is making up lies on the spot, so I call into question its usage as an advantage.

- "She is short, resulting in lack of speed and mobility."

* 5'1 is only slightly below average height. Small people are also fully capable of being quick and agile.

- "She’s not very flexible or athletic at all"

* I'm not sure how a lack of flexibility is a disadvantage. SOTF contestants are not put through a gym routine.
