| Welcome to Survival of the Fittest, a RPing board loosely based off of Koshun Takami's Battle Royale, with its own unique plot and spin on the 'deadly game'. We've been around quite a while, and are now in our thirteenth year, so don't worry about us going anywhere any time soon! If you're a newcomer and interested in joining, then please make sure you check out the rules. You may also want to read the FAQ, introduce yourself and stop by the chat to meet some of our members. If you're still not quite sure where to start, then we have a great New Member's Guide with a lot of useful information about getting going. Don't hesitate to PM a member of staff (they have purple usernames) if you have any questions about SOTF and how to get started! Let the games begin! |

There was a bright light and then it all began to fade into focus. His eyelids blinked a few times, and then Ernest got up. He still had his sunglasses, thank god. He padded himself down to see what he had on him. Then he started to panic. His medication bottle was all over the ground. Four pills were untainted. That's only two days... Two days of humanity, and then... Maybe another tormented half day.... and then finally cracking to horrors in his mind. "Oh hell." His mother would be so fucking proud of him. So. Fucking. Proud. Well, lets see what they put in my bag. Water, check. First Aid, check. Wait... Wheres the weapon? Oh. The twine... Okay, it looks like it's going to be scounging around for parts. So that's how Ernest started to rummage through the mall. The frist store he went to was a kitchen store. There weren't any knives left, or much else, The handlers definately want this to be as controlled as possible. It's an experiment, but he did find a broken wooden chopping board with a hole in it, from which to hang it. He picked it up and began to move on. The next store was a movie store. There weren't even the racks left. The only reason Ernest could tell it was a movie store was the sign outside. There was a glass counter, unshattered, which looked interesting. He wandered over to it and peered at it. His eyes stared back at him, revealing nothing. The case was empty, but glass was usable. The only problem was how to shatter it safely. Ernest decided it wasn't worth the risk. It took him a while, but he found an excercise store, which is kind of what he'd been hoping to find. Again it was a blasted wasteland, a mockery of it's former self, but there were several useful things. First of all, Ernest found a very respectable half of a bench press wieght... and several smaller leg wieghts in the shape of rods, all in tact. Well, they are only human... They can't get everything... and with that, Ernest set himself to finding something else. An exit. <<Continued in Lost Children>> |
