That should be unvoting, not uncoting. :-/

Ok, thought processes MW:
Firstly, I didn't really know how this sorta thing worked. Lame excuse, I know, but let me explain.
Normally when people are given roles apart, or make them up, especially in a setting like this, the normal procedure (at least for me) wold be to introduce our characters. Simple as. That's not how it's done, so I changed it, enough said, no problem.

Next, referring to the bit about your 'raised eyebrow' I was talking about how what I had/have done never really seemed suspicious (at least to me and a bud who wanted to see this) in and of itself. I was called out, so there's my logic.

Regarding the doubling-back, I was actually going to edit the post because I remembered about 3 seconds after I posted it, but I can't so I didn't (which would've been both odd and kinda fishy). The uncorking was because I made my point, and the vote was merely to pressure for response and get some attention for my next little bit of writing.

Hope this answers everything! :)

Oh, last thing:
For now.

While Frogue was likely killed by scum, there's also the chance it was a town-aligned shot by, say, a distrustful vig.

Wait, I forgot something. I found something weird in what MW said after Frouge's death, namely, the quote.
Remember that in the first few pages he talks a lot about Frouge, his suspicions, etc. He came to the conclusion that he was innocent, but then later explicitly tells us how much he's killed Frouge in previous games. Call me Mr.Over-analysis, but it seems a little too defensive.

"Flailing around". Fair enough I guess. It really dosn't seem that much, just got me thinking.
Probably over-thinking to be honest. I've been looking through the posts so far and I've not got any overtly scummy behavior from... well... anyone. It seems pretty calm, albeit with loads of hidden charge and plotting. These next few days look set to be reaaaaaaaaaaly fun.

What I meant was, he got really suspicious over me having a mix up over the rules. I agree that a limited vigilante is pretty likely too.

Rooster Teeth Mafia Game Thread
I'm suspicious at his over-suspicion of my not-at-all suspicious (considering the circumstances) behaviour. Yes, I did word that to get 'suspicious' in as many times as humanly possibly.

Responding to MasterWeasel here:
Old habits die hard. I've never played forum RP before, and we do things differently IRL, so gimme a break here. I'm actually curious as to why you'd get all suspicious, when I specifically said this earlier on in the game. Seems odd to me. So, I'm gonna VOTE: MURDERWEASEL

Rooster Teeth Mafia Game Thread
Ok; I'm going to be sleeping now. Just a few more days until the murders/lynching/action.

(I'm sorry; I'm nervous ok)

'Course not *nervously laughs*

Fair enough. Are we gonna say who are character's are? It'll be good to know.

Well, there's twelve of us... Four? I'd say four. Enough for a balanced vote between them, yet not so many they i-i-i-nsta win after a few days.

Oh, and since I don't particularly want any deaths this early, normally it's better to just keep as many people alive as physically possible, here's a random vote for someone who no votes. Unless you can absatin. In which case I abstain.

Rooster Teeth Mafia Game Thread
I've played a lot of Mafia IRL, but we called it Werewolf. Basically the same game, although we had special roles, which I've seen some people do, but not others. Forum-wise, I haven't played a single game.
So yeah.

Hello! I was a moron and did not post and logic and reasons and...
You should get the idea.
Now I'm scared because I'm always murdered at night first in Mafia IRL. Maybe because I only play with the same goddamn people, and even then rarely.

The Cold of the Fire
Hello everyone! Whilst we wait for V6 to begin, I thought i'd post an idea that's been rattling around my brain for a while. Here it is:
A roleplay where you roleplay the roleplayers.
Confused? This should help.

What On Earth?

For this roleplay, you won't be directly roleplaying the characters, like you would in say, SOTF. Instead, you are roleplaying gamers sitting around a table, rolling die and chatting whilst they play, as well as the character (SOTF style.) This is how I'll be distinguishing between the different 'characters'.

Italics will be the roleplayers around the table
Normal writing will be the characters themselves
{And these brackets will be true OOC talk}

The actual game
This RP takes place after a thermoballistic war has taken place between most global powers. No nuclear weapons were fired, instead 'conventional' brimstone missiles were, leading to mass fires, huge amounts of pollutants being thrown up, and a nuclear winter dawning.

You are one of the survivors of the event, living in what used to be the university town of Cambridge, England, which largley escaped unscathed due to it's relative tactical uselessness. Now that civilisation has recovered, albeit not very much, how will you make a name for yourself?

These will be the applications. I'm not looking for huge amounts of writing, but enough to give you a quick rundown.

Name(s) and Gender(s) For both your character and your roleplayer.

Classes: There are a few classes to pick from:

- Couriers. Once grocery van drivers for supermarkets, couriers are vital for delivering messages. Normally equipped with decent armour and weaponry, they've experiences the freezing cold wastes that used to be England.

- Merchants. This class is fairly self-explanatory. Normally those who were ex-bankers or in other financial positions, they utilise both couriers and mercs, as well as being master barterers.

-Mercenaries. Again, fairly self explanatory. These guys are normally ex-military or law enforcement, with the training and weaponry to prove it. Guns-for-hire, they follow the money, not morals.

-Scholars. Since Cambridge was let off lightly, it has become a technological haven. Botanists, biochemists, structural geologists and more are all under this blanket terminology.

-Apostles/Faithists/Preists. I'm these dark times, many people have turned to faith to guide them. These people are the candleholders that lead them the way. Aposltles are wandering monks, often Christian, but commonly Muslim too, who bring their faith to scattered communities. Faithists are those who aren't specifically one religion, but preach a condensed view of many of them. Faithists are often branded as hypocrites due to their contrary teachings. Preists are those who stay in a religious building of their own faith, and rarely, if ever, leave the city. (Please don't make a priest, he's for a comparison)

-Lepers. Not a class per say, these are those who were badly burned or otherwise injured in 'The Baptism'. With nothing to live for, they normally charge headlong into combat situations, trying to earn an honourable death. (Imagine the suicidal Dwarves from Warhammer. Yeah, those guys basically)

Since this is 't an actual D&D situation, I won't be labelling every single skill. Just give us a rough estimate of what your character is good at. Please make it relevant, a scholar isn't going to be a moron, and a leper isn't going to be a tactical genius. Think of it as a combined form of the 'advantages ans disadvantages' from SOTF. If you're a scholar, please state your chosen field too. Are you an archeologist? A linguist? A pathologist? Tell us! Feel free to be creative!

Fairly self explanatory. Note that you'll need two, one for the character, and one for the roleplayer's self.

Again, you'll need two.

Lastly, I'll be playing both as the DM, and as an actiual character. Since I do this in real life, it'd feel strange not to. Have fun!

Hello! I can draw something for you if you'd like
All your guys look really good.
I know she isn't accepted yet, but Maria Cucinotta?

Whelp, there we go, I've done with Maria. As a little bilingual bonus, her surname roughly translates to "little chef". I've also made it so her father straight-up never re-married, and a few minor tweaks to what I felt her backstory 'should' be. Fingers crossed! :D .
