Alessio Rigano
This time I have no typos :3

Alessio Rigano
Yay!

To the next wave!

Alessio Rigano
Name: Alessio Rigano
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Grade: 11
School: Cochise High School
Hobbies and Interests: Cats, Speed cubing, Playing the tuba, Rock music, Robotics, Video games

Appearance: Al is 5'4" tall and weighs 134 pounds. He has curly, black hair that reaches chin length. When he forgets to shave, stubble can be seen on his chin. Above his brown eyes he has thick, black eyebrows. His skin is an even olive colour due to his italian heritage with a bit of a tan as a result of spending time outside with his cats. His arms are hairy and somewhat muscular from uncommon workouts, and have some scars from incidents with his cats. He is short in physique and has fat stored around his waist, appearing neither athletic or muscular. Al's face is full and his nose is average-sized. His lips are full and often dry.

Al usually wears hoodies and checkered button-up shirts and jeans. When abducted, Alessio wore a grey t-shirt underneath a white hoodie covered in his cats' fur along with a pair of blue jeans and red chucks.

Biography: Alessio Rigano, or for short Al, was born to Mauro and Jennifer Rigano in Bullhead City, Arizona. As the sole child of the married couple, his loving family gave him much attention and care. Mauro works as a pilot, while Jennifer works as a dentist. As Mauro is not at home as much as Jennifer, she was the one who primarily upbrought Al when he was a child. That led to Alessio disliking his mother more than his father, who did not seem as strict to him, in comparison to his mother, who often nagged at him. He enjoyed it when his father was at home as they often played games, like chess, together.

The Riganos lived in an apartment in Bullhead City. Mauro and Jennifer owned two cats, Massimo and Michelle. Al was fond of the cats as a child, being fascinated by them. Most of his childhood he often played with the cats in the house and outside, while his mother supervised him. Over the years Al became not only interested in cats, but also in other animals he viewed as cute and adorable, like bunnies or hamsters. After visiting a shelter for the first time, he began to think about getting a job with animals. Al decided to adopt two more cats as a teenager, after he begged his parents, so he could take care of more pets.

When his family visited his aunt in Italy during summer vacation, she gave him a rubik's cube to play with as a gift. Throughout the vacation, when being bored at the house of the aunt or being bored while sitting in the car, Al spent much time trying to solve the cube, but did not manage to do so. Eventually, when he got home he googled how to solve the cube and soon managed to solve the cube with the help of the guide and the given algorithms. As he stumbled through the internet, he found videos of speedcubers and was fascinated by them. He eventually tried to speed cube as well, but neglected doing it after dealing more with school or video games. Still, Al usually takes a rubik's cube with him to school or on occasions like travelling or hospital visits to avoid boredom.

In Al's free time, aside from playing with the cat or with the rubik's cube, he liked to surf on the internet to watch videos or to play flash games. His parents prevented him from buying the video games he wanted when he was younger, because they wanted to save money and didn't want their son to get addicted to them. At first Alessio was annoyed by that, but as he grew up he lived with it. When Alessio became a teenager he discussed with his parents about the issue and eventually Alessio convinced them to allow him to buy some video games. Alessio adopted the habit of his parents saving money, so he often played cheap or old video games, instead of newer, expensive ones.

While Alessio was going through old records that belonged to his father, Alessio found an interest in classical rock and roll songs that aren't played on the radio and are no longer popular. He asked his dad to lend him the records and this resulted in him listening to classic rock in his free time. Alessio got more interested in music, preferring any subgenre of rock. He often hums tunes out of habit and when he is distracted or thinks that he's alone. With his deeper interest in music he tried to play the guitar and the piano, but failed and gave up.

When Al was attending the seventh grade, Mauro, who formerly worked at Laughlin/Bullhead International Airport, started working at the Kingman Airport. As a result, Mauro and Jennifer wanted to move to Kingman so that Mauro could get to his is workplace more easily, but decided to wait for Al to finish middle school before moving to Kingman.

Because of the move, Alessio started high school in a new city. As he was new to the school, he was lonely at first. Despite being a shy person, he tried to act friendly to other classmates and soon got along with the others. Alessio was still interested in music, despite the failed attempts at learning an instrument, and soon decided to sign up for the school orchestra to play the tuba there. While his parents were skeptical about that, because they thought he wouldn't manage to keep up with the responsibility, he convinced them by promising them to practise the tuba daily. This lead to him excelling in playing the tuba, although he would not admit that. He also considered joining a bigger orchestra after graduating, because he had fun playing the tuba. He was proud of having learned how to play the instrument, but was concerned about forgetting how to play the tuba.

Alessio's doing average in school, getting usually Bs and Cs. The only subjects where he achieves As in are P.E. and biology. In P.E. he tried to be ambitious and attempted training to become more athletic and tried to train outside of the school, but constantly lost motivation. In Biology he succeeded because the subject interested him, as he wanted a future job as a veterinarian. In other subjects Al's participation is sparse, just actively participating when he knows the right answer. When he does not know, he usually just pays attention, without partaking much.

Alessio is not an outgoing person as he usually likes to spend his time with himself. When he was a sophomore, he decided to join the robotics club partially because it seemed interesting and partially because he wanted to socialize more, as he saw that as a chance to make more friends. After visiting the club several times out of curiosity, he learned how to handle robots from the others. He needed help from the other members when he joined at first and while improving, as he did not excel in robotics. Much to his chagrin, he still needs support from the others to date and fears himself to be burden to them. He found the members of the robotics club relatable and friendly and hoped to get a closer connection with the other members and stay in the club.

Al is friendly towards other people, but he is however, shy. Alessio is not an outgoing guy, usually interacting with those around him very little. Aside from the robotics club, he tried to keep good connections to the other people from his school so whenever he did want to talk to others he could do so. Due to his interest in rock music, he also often visits music events and is a fan and supporter of the school bands. He likes to cheer for the musicians and give them compliments. He generally also looks up to a lot of people who have achieved accomplishments that amazed him and shows this by acting polite and friendly towards them. He is not selective about who to hang out with, not choosing popular classmates over unpopular ones to spend time with. Outside of the school, he barely interacts with other people in his free time. As a result, he had more school friends and acquaintances than friends outside of school to hang out with.

Advantages: Alessio is generally a very friendly person and has a reputation as such, which could help him gain allies. While not being athletic, he could be considered stronger than average due to his training.
Disadvantages: Alessio's a shy person which might lead to weak communication with allies. Besides, Alessio also lacks self-confidence and ambition, which could lead to him giving up early on the island.

Hmm, I don't think sheeping the cop would be a bad idea.

Wouldn't I need a permission to produce a log showing permission?

And wouldn't I need a permission to post a permitted production of a log showing permission?

Hmm, the cop claim and the innocent are certainly interesting.

So, couldn't Yugi just steal Bowser's role?

Oh, Tiresias seems awesome! V6 Hype! Bookstore hype!

Also, I'll request a TV1 character, I guess.

I request Harold Finston Smythe

uhm. Vincent Sullivan! With permission from Fenrir!

Hello! I can draw something for you if you'd like
Wow, so many awesome pictures at once! O_o

I'm really tempted to request some big TV1 characters like Vincent or Zach, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed or not.

Instead, I guess I'll request...

Dunno, just wanted to give props.

Persy, if you say the mafia's probably trying to kill highly active players, I'd assume that mafia could be experienced players, like Vyse or so. Or active players like Toben or so. Not sure.

Vyse's claim seems...okay.

Doc's death made me a bit more suspicious of Frogue, due to him talking to him yesterday. But that might be too obvious, so yeah.

And we're 15 left. So if Vyse's role is true, mafia'd have a hard time if they target him. I assume there are 3-4 mafiosi.

Oh, also maybe Vyse will do a Pentakill. Hah, I did a LoL reference despite not playing it. Yay.

League of Legends Mafia Game Thread
I'd suggest lynching somebody nobody would expect, so mafia cannot plan it.

As for flavors, I've never played LoL. So. Which characters are mafia and which ones are town? We're playing with classes, aren't we? So is there a way to tell which classes are good and which ones are not?

Also, Frogue and Toben pointed Naft's question out. Obviously, Naft could be wifoming about not knowing it, but maybe not. The fact that both Frogue and Toben pointed it out should be remembered, probably.

Ah, thank you very much for Alien! He looks pretty cool! I should watch the movie one time.

But Spring Break's over for me :c

League of Legends Mafia Game Thread
P.S. That was a reminder that mafia can talk during day 1, which sucks, as they are more organised and will probably try to get somebody suspicious lynched.

So beware a bandwagon.

Maybe I should try Vyse's wifom strategy as well.

Y'know I'm busy talking with my maf buds, so that's why I haven't said anything before.

Oh, yes. It really looks cool. I loved the Karen one, especially.

Also the Kyran and the background were awesome as well. It makes one feel how Kyran is! Whatever.

You basically decorate the wiki with wonderful, wonderful art. It makes me happy. It also makes the readers of the characters in the wiki also happy.

I cannot wait for Brooook o.o

V4 Read-A-Thon: The Reboot
It's a bit late. Just a bit.

Sooo, Aileen Borden!

So my "review". Or rather my personal impressions, as it probably won't be analysed well or in depth. I cannot write proper reviews.

So...Aileen's facemaker face looks not so amused. And if you read her story, or her profile, specifically the appearance section you can see why.

Her profile was cool and well written. Although it was a bit sad, her backstory was realistic. And her hobbies are also interesting! I think I can totally get how she is as a person.

Also, her relationships with her parents was developed in a cool way, as they sometimes get mentioned throughout her story.

I started reading with her last pre-game thread, which was eventful and also very cool.

So, I dunno how many times I'll repeat myself at the point, that she's fun to read, but, she is. This is due to the narrative, I think.

I mean, the narrative is awesome, it's entertaining and never bores.

Aileen was definitely a memorable character, a memorable group member. That's cool, because I like memorable characters and she's definitely not memorable in a bad way.

Obviously, the escape plot wouldn't have been the same without Aileen.

She was a realistic character, very humane. The narrator was also playing with realisim, like her forgetting Rob's name on the announcement, which is super realistic. I mean, you definitely can't memorise 276 names, I think. I'd like to see it more in SOTF, kinda.

I cannot decide for an example of the narrative, which I liked. I liked many parts. Maybe this:

"Richard" had climbed up the tree because... well, she really did not have a clue. Nothing her classmates did ever make sense. Maybe he wanted to hide out, or... something.

I like that way of writing and thinking! Her thoughts are also very relatable and connect smoothly. It's a smooth read and even when her post was really long, it wouldn't have been an uncomfortable read. The narrative lead to a comfortable read. It has often more-or-less many rhethorical questions that were really interesting to read.

Her narrative is really nice and filled with stylistic devices. As if it'd be a good novel. It never gets me bored and it is entertaining. Not that it wouldn't have been entertaining, as every scene was pretty eventful.

Some early threads were a bit chaotic. I liked it when it got calm. At the first waves of Aaron's group I felt that Aileen was more in the background than other characters, who seemed to be stronger and more notable, like Tom, Lily or Richard. It was kinda an odd troop, but the dissonance I felt while reading it quickly faded. But after the other wave, Aileen really got stronger and more notable. She got really impressive and began to shine, I think. Near the end her scenes were really great.

Without Aileen the escape group would be missing something. After all, she and Aaron are the longest members. Her doubting Aaron just fits.

The relationship between Aaron and Aileen was also pretty great. They needed each other, I think. But still, it also felt really realistic.

Or when "she needed to have a word with him. Now."

Also, a great moment/line.

She doubts Aaron, but follows him. Still, she was also very powerful. She was like the second leader of the group. Funny how Aaron blames his death at her, for not convincing him to escape.

Both felt like even characters. In comparision to Franco Sebbert's "manipulated lackeys", Aaron's manipulated group seemed to have stronger characters.

She's on one side very caring, on the other hand her anger is also portrayaled well, like, after Lily and Richard's deaths were announced. It was also pretty good. Oh, and also her reaction to Zach and her last threads. Yeah, her snarky comments are also very entertaining.

Her kill on Milo was also a great scene, and shows how she gets manipulated by Aaron really well. The setting and the timing with the Polanski incident was great. The atmosphere was awesome. The death itself was really brutal and one could feel with Milo and Aileen. Her reaction to Milo's death were really relatable and how she alludes to the death afterwards multiple times was done well as well.

And the scene shows the fast pace and the rush to escape.

And Aileen's story also covers a good plot why they were not rescued. The dialogues and actions in the scene with Hughes/Borden/DuClare was very well thoughtout and was a really awesome reason of why they were not rescued in the boat.

We know about her friends as well, due to her memory thread, as well as her reaction to the deaths of Sarah and Bridget. And due to the fact that she calls Reiko just "Reika's sister". Oh yeah, I haven't mentioned that I kinda liked her nicknames like "Milron", have I?

Now we come to the death thread, which was really good. It was a perfect conclusion with her reading the notebook, especially with her liking to read. The death thread also alludes well to Aileen and Aaron's last pregame thread together. And I absolutely loved her reaction when she didn't believe Aaron's bullshit anymore. The thread was a perfect ending, as if it was a movie scene or a novel scene.

I wonder how the story would've continued if Aaron choose option 1 or 2. That would've been interesting.

Combined with her narrative, the death post itself was also very awesome. What stood out for me were the spaces between the lines, which made it a really excellent death post, that made me emphasise with her.

The notebook was destroyed, which was probably a very good metaphora for prose, I assume (or a movie, maybe). The escape group was destroyed, the arc was finished. With Aileen's death, the escape group ceased to exist.

Her last thoughts were also very interesting, as she already asked herself earlier who'll miss her. And I'm pretty sure I do. Although she was not the most sympathetic character in every scene she was in, she was overall a very sympathetic character, whose death post made her even more sympathetic. And the way how Aaron talks about her post-hum makes me pity her, like him framing her as a killer for an excuse.

Even in the death post the narrative kept being funny with her last line of her. Okay, while it might be more sad than funny, it was a good punchline that closes the circle from me reading the profile to reading her death post with the library line.

The death post was almost flawless, I think!

Uh, I think this review is imbalanced, as I said too many good things. Damn. Uh, well, her death tag is more orangy than red, but that's because cause Zetaboards is probably colourblind or so. I don't know what else to say. She's a good character.

And with her death, the escape group plot ended. And man, it was a Great Escape Group Plotline. Probably one of the best V4 arcs.

So, should you read Aileen and Aaron's escape group plot as well? Absolutely.

Roll me anoth- actually, not sure whether I want Julian or not. Writing reviews is hard.

New General SOTF Discussion Thread
I kinda want to see more Luz kids!

I really like the diverse cast as well! I dunno how V5 concepts looked like when it was in the stage we are now. I like the groups, like the tabletop group or the balletgroup, the baseballers or the family or many others. I think it'd be kinda cool, when some pre-groups might get a wiki page as well, like, The Entourage or Bloody Fists had one. I can see reasons why that might not happen, but yeah, just a random thought. In general I wanna see more group pages on the wiki, but I think I already mentioned it.

Damn, I drifted away. BTW, I don't think two characters having the same niche would be a bad thing. I think it'd be interesting to read, actually, as both characters would be written differently, but have the same niche.

Yeah, all concepts I've read so far are really interesting and I cannot wait to read them in game. I bet nothing will bore me. And I'm also curious which characters have not been revealed yet.
