@RC I assume Yugi asked about what exactly you were intending to say with your post. Frankly, it's a sentiment I share because you tend to be a big ? with the way you behave in mafia.

...I do have a few thoughts, but I want to save them for in a few hours or so.

Actually, coming to think of it - a better example.

Look at the guy last game whom everyone thought was town.

Now look how that turned out.

I believe this danger is what Unpy meant as well, but of course I cannot speak for him.

Last thing. Unpy, in post #103 you say that we need to be careful that people might be in different factions. Isn’t that always the case in Mafia? As long as Town find Mafia through the investigations, does it necessarily matter which faction they are from when we get them?
Personally, I would say "yes". It is important.

See, I actually don't think that investigations are going to be the decisive factor. I say this with confidence given that Vyse is administrating it, of course. Instead, I presume that the vast majority of all scum members we lynch will be found via connecting their day phase content to their mafia comrades.

However, to the members of Mafia A, the members of Mafia B are as town. You may see my point with the following example:

Alice is confirmed Scum. Bob has buddied a lot with Alice, so we lynch him and he is scum too. The lynch is started, carried, and hammered by Charlie. This would give Charlie enormous town cred. But alas, Charlie is actually Scum too. He just has a different colour.

It is a pretty simplified example, but I believe it illustrates my point in some manner well enough.

Unlike last game, where you were playing a powerful town voice to make sure your solitary presence wasn't sniffed out, your actions this time around feel a lot quieter. This just makes me think you're trying to be very careful about looking like you're not working with anyone.
You too, I would like to elaborate. I am unsure how you come to the conclusion that MK is somehow quiet, because that is probably the opposite of what I would say about MK right now.

Bikriki and whoever else asked, nope, not interested in explaining. More interested in a) what your opinion of Un-Persona is and b) what his response is, although that's a bit tainted now.
My opinion on Unpy is a pretty loud and resounding "meh?".

Unless something's mucked up on my side, I only see one post with a joke vote, and nothing strikes me as particularly interesting.

Coming to think of it, the images used on the French werewolf site linked by Lore remind me of the live!version of werewolf I used to play with my school mates from occassion to occassion. I don't think this will be of great substance, but perhaps it might help Lore at least to learn Mafia a little bit better.

That aside, I would like to second Frogue's question. Picking out Unpy seems to be a strange choice for me, so I would like to see your reasoning, penguin.

@Primrosette. As a newbie, I feel obligated to give you some tips on playing. In fact, do you know how you can play good too? Try flinging some mud around, look at the people's post, find inconsistencies, or sketchy stuff. Throw some questions at their head, accuse. We have a thing here called Reads, and sometimes we present our Lists of Reads, in which we write down a summary of our thoughts on people. So I'll ask you - who do you think is acting strange? Who do you perceive as towny?

@Lore - frankly, you're a newbie too but I guess you can fare well if you just try to play it like Werewolf. Instead of wolves you have a mafia and instead of a town you have a... uh, town. Is easy to work with, I suppose.

But why, tell me, do you vote for Unpy now?

What in their behavior do you find worthy of your vote? What do you hope to achieve casting it?

TvTropes Mafia Thread
This is not a mistake per se.

We ask you for a reason for your action. This is important in mafia.

Oh, that just reminds me of something I wanted to state before the game heats up.

I play Mafia for fun. If I see tunneling, I will ignore everything stated in tunnel posts on principle alone.

No, they do approve of not killing people. That is to say, they don't approve of killing people.

Also, Bikriki you definitely added in an extra 'not' into what Lore said.

Aaaaargh. It starts. My brain is melting. But yes, that extra not was an accident and not my intention.

Either way @lore, you are correct, we have no information... yet. There's a reason why even the first day phase is so long, and it is to get all the information you need pressed out of your fellow players.

I have my role and I don't know how this game works but I don't approve killing people on the first day, unless we are forced to.
From the perspective of a newbie to mafia, why do you not approve of not killing people on day one?

I lost my internet for at least a couple hours last night. Only about half the PMs got through. My apologies for the inconvenience. The rest will be out in a manner of minutes.
In that case, I am sorry for shooting prematurely.

...it usually doesn't happen, I promise.

(No seriously, sorry for not waiting for your explicit confirmation)

alright, I got my role a few hours ago, so I figure you're done.

Ah, so she was still good at that. Projecting this image of confidence. Was kinda an important skill to her. And also it was kinda adorable. That meant, Rick was adorable. He replied with some kind of sincerity. Perhaps, if she interpreted it correctly, there even was some form of respect in his voice.

There he went though and admitted to his own lack of planning. Fiyori looked at him and smiled.

Yeah, he would make a shit carpenter. Her eyes darted to Rick's fingers, and it seemed as if he thought even the same. She chuckled as he did so, nodding in agreement.

"Well, true. But be careful about the pressure. Family can be really tough if you don't know what to do with your life."

Fiyori put her bag on. She stood up from her chair. Time to leave, she guessed. She liked talking with people, but for some reason felt displeasure with staying in the library. Gotta get some air. Shake them legs up.

"Anyway, I gotta go for a walk. Sitting too much'll kill me. Unless you, like, really want to immerse yourself in study... I'll invite you to do the same."

Just Wants A Distraction
Oh fuck. No.

Fiyori cringed. Was a thing she did. Mostly whenever those words appeared. What are you doing after graduation. She halted. Held a book inhand. She didn't look at Rick, focusing on the book. A way of concentrating. Fiyori quietly pushed the book into her bag, carefully closing it afterwards. She still looked at the bag.

She hated that question. Rick wasn't the guy to ask. Frankly, because he probably couldn't answer it himself. Well, not that there was malice involved. Of course there wasn't any malice involved. It was simple curiousity. A passing remark you do in conversation. Something said without great thought. She got that often. She got... exercise in answering.

"Well, opening a pastry shop's pretty expensive. Money I don't have, and I won't get."

She turned to Rick. If he were someone else, he would get some snappy answer. Something along the lines of mind your own business. She'd have to be gentle with Rick, however. She wanted to be.

"But... I'll probably help out somewhere. With my mother, maybe. I'm pretty resourceful, so I'll find some living."
