Guilty Gear Mafia: Game Thread
Wow, we're starting to rack up a lot of votes on jimmydalad. I'm personally still leaning towards waiting for him to explain himself further before placing a vote. I have good reason to suspect him, but I need word from the suspect himself.

By the way, if we're suspecting jimmy, shouldn't we be keeping track of Maraoone too, seeing as jimmy was protecting him earlier?

I can see Laurels' point here. Reacting to a joke vote the way he did seems like a warning sign, not to mention penguin-alien's mysterious death once she started targeting him. On the other hand, however, the Mafia could be atttempting to frame him by killing the person who was casting suspicion on him when he himself in innocent.

Personally, I'd like dmboogie to try to explain himself. It may shed some light on the scenario.

Sorry I haven't been posting much. Got in trouble for a bad test grade and have been swamped with homework, limiting my access time.

Anyways, the reason that I haven't really said much through my posts is because I really have no idea what to do at this point in time. Pretty much no evidence of any mafia identities have been revealed, and if anything has, then it just hasn't spoken to me. I know that I can find things, as evidenced in MLP Mafia, I just have a hard time when I don't know exactly what to look for.

Well... this is an unexpected development.

Uh... any thoughts on this, guys?

*shrugs* I haven't seen anything too incriminating. I'm just waiting for something to happen.

Hello, Mafia thread! Not voting yet, just dropping in to say hi!

v5 Survivor
Jake pretty much felt like garbage walking into Tribal Council. Of all the teams to end up sending someone home first, it naturally ended up being his team. A team that consisted of two strong guys, Claire, and tow weak, but smart nerds. Owen and R.J. were the tribe's only hope in physical challenges, so they definitely weren't going anywhere. For himself, Claire, and Alice, however, it was a one-in-three shot for any of them to go home, and that scared him.

He lit his torch and sat down, listening as Jeff explained the rules of Tribal Council. They would talk, then they would vote, then Jeff would read the votes, then whoever got the most votes would be going home. Simple rules for such a terrifying ceremony. Jake looked around Tribal Council in an attempt to calm his nerves. The set was absolutely beautiful, and he really had to appreciate the set designers for putting it all together. Despite that, he still wished that they were back at camp, and that another tribe were here to admire the scenery instead.

"Jake, there are a lot of risks assosciated with being a leader in Survivor - did anybody put their neck out and say "Hey, let me lead you guys, I can help us"?"

"Well..." Jake began nervously. He was still getting used to speaking with so much attention on him. "We don't really have a, y'know, all-around leader guy. Everyone just, uh, kind of did their own thing to help the camp, and, um, he have a shelter, and we can make water. I think that we're off to a good start."

Jeff went down the line, giving everyone some more questions. Eventually he came to the topic of the harsh conditions of the game. He asked everyone else their opinions on the matter before finally coming back to Jake.

"Um... I think that it's all about how much you want to hang in there and, uh, how determined you are. I want to prove that I'm more than just some, uh, nerdy kid with confidence issues. I want to do something I can be proud of out here. It's... it's mind over matter. That's how you have to look at it."

Jeff then went on to talk about the immunity challenge. He asked questions about their performance, then asked Alice if she felt safe, having been a puzzle-solver when the puzzles were the part of the challenge they performed the best on. Once Alice answered, he turned to Jake.

"Jake, you were, like I said, a puzzle-solver - same question as Alice?

"I hope so. I mean... I think I did good. I just hope that I did good enough to earn my tribe's respect."

Finally, the questioning started winding down. Jeff asked each of the players how they would be voting. After everyone else had given their answer, he came to Jake.

"Jake, same question."

"Um... I'm voting based on who I think isn't a team player. It's still early, and we need to be able to, y'know, work together. I think that we need to make sure that we can, uh, mesh together as a tribe."

That was it. It was time to vote. Jake drummed his figers on his knees nervously. He silently prayed that he would get to stay another three days.

Survivor: The Cursed Islands - Brahman Tribe Camp
Claire immediately asked Jake why he thought that he deserved to stay over Alice. Jake took a deep breath and answered. His shot at staing in the game was likely relying on what he said next.

"Well, I build robots back at home, so, uh, I'm really good a puzzles and building things and that kind of thing." He paused for a moment to pick up another stick. "Also, uh, I don't want to sound rude, but I don't think that Alice seems much like a team player. She doesn't really seem to have her head in the game. Even though I'm, uh, really shy, I think I can contribute more to the tribe in the long run than she can."

Jake waited to hear Claire's response. He was really nervous about what she would say.

After walking for a while, Jake and Claire were pretty far into the jungle. During the walk, Jake had found a pretty big stick about the size of his arm. He picked it up and carried it with him, since it would probably be useful for the fire. He continued to survey the area with his eyes for any good wood.

"So Jake, what do you think will happen tonight? I mean, I know it's hard to predict strategy, but who do you think the others might vote for? Who's most likely to be replaced with Cassidy?"

Claire's words distracted Jake from his firewood hunt. He had almost forgotten about Tribal Council. He went over the plans his tribemates were likely to form in his head before answering.

"Uh... I'm pretty sure that Owen and R.J. are safe, since they probably want to keep the physically strongest players in. Since you're the next strongest after them, er... I guess that you're probably safe too. I think that, um, the vote will probably be between me and Alice, seeing as we're probably the weakest..." Jake shook his head sadly. He knew that if he was the first person kicked off, then his sister would never let him hear the end of it.

"I really don't want to go home first..."

Survivor: The Cursed Islands - Brahman Tribe Camp
Jake was saddened by the result of the Immunity Challenge. They had gotten off to a good start, but the boulder they had to push just killed any momentum that they had. The worst part was at the end, when Jake had gotten on top of the boulder. They were so close to finishing, but Shak-Ti just barely edged them out. It was crushing.

Claire asked if anyone wanted to help her get firewood. Jake picked up his canteen and responded. "Sure, I'll help."

Jake followed Claire into the woods. Thoughts of the impending Tribal Council scared him. He really didn't want to be the first person sent home.
