Plush Wants To Read Your Dead Things!
Just wanted to stop by and say thanks a bundle for taking so much time and effort to do a critique of Karen. I really appreciate it, and you hit on some stuff that's really interesting and useful for me to keep in mind going forward with other kids. I know I tossed you an obnoxiously long character and it means a lot to me that you took the time to go through so thoroughly. :)

Toben, mate, can you please update the eliminated list in the first post?
It is done! Did it this morning, actually, but didn't have time to post confirmation due to running late for class.

Star Wars Mafia: Game Thread
Emboldened by last night's relative peace, a squad of Stormtroopers was out on patrol, and the members weren't too worried. What threat could rebels pose to such a well-trained and disciplined military unit? At least, that was their thought process until a crazed smuggler came barreling out from around the corner towards them, firing wildly. After Siege Perilous was felled by their fire, the Imperials found that their legendary discipline might be a bit overrated, and, turning tail, they fled...

...straight into the arms of a ferocious and infuriated wookiee! Cake was the unlucky trooper in front, and he fell prey to the mighty wookiee's wrath, being thrown into the bulkhead with enough force to leave a dent. The rest of the squad wanted none of that, and managed to make good a hasty retreat.

Elsewhere on the Death Star, one particular Imperial was unimpressed by the proceedings. Preceded by the mechanical rasp of his artificial breathing, Darth Vader stalked towards a control room. With one wave of his gloved hand, he signaled for the doors to open. On the other side, he found a pair of droids--definitely not on an Imperial make. Without throats to crush, Vader had no recourse but to remove his lightsaber from his belt, snapping it into activation with a hiss.

Day phase begins now and ends at 7:00 GMT on March 3, once again giving us a full week day phase to discuss. Fifteen alive means eight to lynch. If you did not receive a response to your night action PM confirming my receipt of it, I did not receive it and no action was taken on your behalf.

Also, RC has requested a relaxation of the image post rules specifically for Bah! posts. Since those don't really affect the tone of the game, I'm willing to okay it, on the grounds that people keep it to fun stuff only and not (genuinely) bitter recriminations. Bah posts only for now, though.

About twenty-one hours left for night actions.

Folks in chat suggested I post my favorite name generator, so here y'all go! It has levers for gender, country, and culture. I just tend to refresh a bunch until I get stuff I like, often combining a couple entries.

Do droids have feelings? There are plenty of arguments suggesting they do, but this droid formed a solid counter case. It approached its torture enhanced interrogation with the same dispassionate attitude with which it administered drugs in totally 100% legitimate medical procedures. Even though its loss would surely be felt deeply in the days to come, the forces of the Empire breathed a sigh of relief at the removal of the Interrogation Droid. That thing was creepy!

How long do we have left in the phase?
Six hours and forty-nine minutes, or until this clock strikes 7:00. I will enforce to the minute; votes that come after, even if before the official call, will not be counted.

Not at all. I make no promises of accuracy of any vote count I don't post, though. Also, quick reminder: anyone can PM me for a vote count at any time if they'd like an official tabulation, and I'll get it up ASAP.

Investigation-wise, how do maf kills show up? Does mafia vote, does the whole mafia count as having performed the nightkill, etc??
I can't get into this too in-depth because "investigation" could refer to a number of actions by roles which may or may not be in play. That said, this is the general precedent:
The Rules

Fluff will reveal the faction and identifying character information of both killer and victim (if, say, Boba Fett killed Admiral Ackbar this would be revealed to the thread as a whole, or maybe Fett would be The Masked Bounty Hunter [neither character is in this game]). Please plan your gambits accordingly. Anything else added is pure narrative fluff/there to make the read more interesting, and has absolutely no bearing on roles, events during the night phase, or anything of the sort. Roleblocks, protections, etc. will not be in the write-ups, just kills.
Which is to say, kills are performed by specific characters in this game.

Feel free to prod further if this is unclear; it's a tricky situation and I'm erring on the side of not giving away setup information.

This probably got lost in the cluster, but I'll restate it here:

Quote:

Night action priority is as follows:
1. Roleblocks resolved
2. Protections resolved
3. General actions resolved
4. Nightkills resolved
5. Investigations resolved

MW, could you kindly explain what you mean by "general actions"?
Sorry, should've made it more visible, speaking of lost in the clutter. I was groggy and forgot to put on mod color. ><

Rectifying:

Any action that doesn't count as one of those other four things! Take, say, a cult leader's recruitment.
