The Play-by-Post Sessions
I'm cool with whoever. : )

The Play-by-Post Sessions
Going to put my banner on the "Can we not be too complicated?" pole. I can handle rulesets and so on, but if I get thrown straight into something with huge intricacies I'm gonna be out of my depth.

The Play-by-Post Sessions
I know nothing about any systems, so I am singularly unhelpful in that regard.

The Play-by-Post Sessions
I wouldn't mind giving this a bash.

Elena beat me to the punch there.

That said, I tend to agree. Deaths by gun mistake... well, they can be realistic, but often the more realistic thing would be a wound, or a miss. One of my pet peeves is the, shall we say, improbably accuracy a lot of characters seems to have. Guns are not easy to aim, and when I see characters with no training sniping people for instant-kill headshots using pistols, it annoys me like crazy. Realistically, spray 'n pray might well be the best bet for a lot of these kids. I really feel like the unlikely aim was a severe downside to V4's assigned ammunition limits. Since nobody wanted to run out of ammo, they all conserved at the expense of realism (and, in the end? I don't think any character ran dry on all their weapons before their deathpost anyways, so I'm not really sure how much good tracking ammo did at all).
As interesting trivia, I'm not sure if it's worked this way around before, but when Kris shot Kimberly, she was aiming to miss.

V3. Tegan Bianco. Your tear ducts are welcome..

Technically speaking this kind of stuff should go in the fun and games topic, as a point of information.

Have you already planned deaths?
Planning how deaths should happen is only secondary in (in my opinion) pointlessness to counting on making it to a certain stretch. Play the game. Things will come to you at the time. The only thing I've ever had in my head in advance for a death is when Rosa died, because I always knew that she'd want to tell her dad to go fuck himself. :P

But yes... don't overplan. Overplanning damages characters (see V2) and risks missing opportunities for organic development.

90% of a sue is in portrayal and I happen to disagree with that assessment in the first place, and once again, the major distinction was that the BR AU was filler to mess around with whilst waiting for other stuff to get rolling, therefore not 100% official and once again... directly based off the fandom that our site is derived from in the first place.

If there's interest then I can hardly stop you, but it's not really something I want being attached to the SOTF name.

Guys we have a questions board, y'know...

Little's Buddies (Thread V2)
I've got a ton of personal crap on my plate atm, which is why I'm yet to app Naomi.

We're specifically based off BR as a fandom. That's a rather different scenario.

oh fuck off

I'm uncomfortable with the idea of using characters from other settings and the like, one part because I believe profiles will be difficult to construct and lower in quality, one part because I don't really think 'fandom' games are appropriate.

Don't post at night.

Mathematics only works if you assume all players are equal and all roles are of equal value.

Personally I think an 'any lynch will do' mentality is suspicious in of itself...

Endgame/Epilogue Terminology
I've always used endgame for the final showdown, as it were. The epilogue to me is the part after that.
