With the way things are, the residents of the town seem more concerned with re-familiarising themselves with the odd quirks and strange behaviours of their fellows than pulling together, and fail to come to a consensus before the bell in the town hall begins to ring for night time.

The town - and the crotchety, grumpy types that would see them have a little more respect for their elders, disperse, to bed.

G060 - Strong, Mirabella 'Bella'[/DECEASED]
DECEASED

Name: Mirabella Avis "Bella" Strong
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: 12
School: Aurora High School
Hobbies and Interests: Dancing, debate club, needlework, swim team, and writing club.

Appearance: Most consider Mirabella's appearance to be one of a thoroughly attractive girl. However, such attractiveness lies mostly in clothing choice and the confidence with which Mirabella holds her slender frame, which consists of 132 pounds spread evenly over a height of 5'5". One would hesitate to describe Mirabella as beautiful. Rather, she is incredibly pretty, her physique and facial structure having never developed to its seemingly full potential. Almost flat chested, and with spindly arms, Mirabella views her upper-body to be the least appealing part of her body. Having never been plagued with acne or most other facial abrasions that most teenagers encounter, Mirabella has been left with a clean and soft complexion. Her skin tone is a blanched alabaster one.

Her head, which is of a large and oval shape, sits upon a thin and short neck, supported by firm and confident shoulders, showing her excellent posture. Mirabella's facial features are distributed evenly over the broad surface of her face. Her nose is a small, almost button-like, and is wide-nostrilled. Above her nose sits a pair of large hazel eyes which give her something of an ingénue-look, due to the fact that they are perpetually widened. Her eyebrows are two thin and high-arching lines on her forehead, giving her an ever-so-slight look of bemusement. A small dimple is embedded upon her right cheek, brushing just past her mouth, which is framed by thick and rose-coloured lips. Mirabella takes pride in the care that she bestows upon her teeth, and whenever she smiles she makes sure to show them off. A small gap between her two front bottom teeth remains the only noticeable flaw amongst the obsessively brushed and flossed teeth.

Although it was originally black, Mirabella's hair quickly lightened to a more brown colouring. Her fringe consists of three lengthy bangs that, without the use of a navy blue hairband or a set of six scarlet coloured barrettes, would reach just below her bottom eyelashes. The rest of Mirabella's hair is a voluminous length that flows to the bottom of her ribcage and is kept regularly washed and maintained. Most of the time Mirabella usually keeps a hat of some kind atop her head to protect her hair, except when it is socially unacceptable for her to do so. She often wears a wide-brimmed straw hat with red piping along the edges, but prefers the maroon beret with a heliotrope fleur-de-lis embroidered on the top that she was gifted for her twelfth birthday from her mother, which she treasures extensively.

Mirabella's dress sense could best be described as quirky, or unique. She gives an occasional nod to fashion, but mostly reinvents it to suit her own purposes. Although Mirabella isn't a major lover of clothing, the fact that she takes due care in her appearance shows through in the outfits that she wears. When in informal situations, Mirabella still likes to maintain a prim and proper exterior, and this shows through amongst most of her peers. In terms of tops, Mirabella generally favours turtlenecks, having amassed an admirable collection over the years, or t-shirts with simple patterns or phrases imprinted onto the fabric. Mirabella likes to have a mixture of dark and light colours, so her wardrobe is filled with a mixture of yellows and whites and lighter versions of colours, such as lilac or powder blue, alongside blacks and dark blues or burned yellows and dark greens. Mirabella mostly prefers to wear knee length skirts and tights, but when wearing trousers she never wears pants that ascend above her ankle. When wearing pants where above-ankle length is required, Mirabella prefers to roll up the cuffs instead of donning shorts. Her shoes are generally simple and practical footwear, and she isn't as specific regarding what she wears on her feet as much as she is with her other clothing. When exercising or engaging in walks, sneakers are her shoe of choice. However, in more laid back and less physically-straining conditions, she favours ballet flats, which she wears around the house and while at school. Save for her barrettes or hairband, Mirabella doesn't wear any accessories or jewellery of any kind.

On the day of the class trip, Mirabella's attire consisted of her perpetually-worn maroon beret, which covered her hair restraint for the day: a bright new burned orange hairband. A crimson kerchief spotted with small rounded flecks of white was tied loosely around her neck. Below this was a cream coloured blouse, tightly buttoned and short sleeved. Her skirt was knee-length, pleated, and turquoise coloured, with an ivy-like pattern embroidered in black thread along the bottom edges. Black knee-length socks covered the rest of her legs, reaching into a pair of clashing but comfortable sneakers, coloured identically to her blouse. The deep pockets of her skirt were filled with a small collection of knick-knacks, consisting of a half-eaten muesli bar wrapped in tin foil, a blunted pencil, and a spiral-bound pocketbook of brain teasers, most of which are left half finished and abandoned.

Biography: Mirabella was born to Sebastian and Avis Strong on the 14th of September. She was conceived out of wedlock when her parents' relationship was still in its infancy. Her mother was a young college student studying dance, the daughter of a moderately wealthy French fishmonger, and her father worked as an intern at the local hospital. The two met when Avis strained her ankle after over-exerting herself in an attempt to perfect a dancing maneuver and Sebastian was assigned to help her with her injury. Both were highly intelligent, and from the offset the two found themselves attracted to each other.

Since childhood, Avis was treated as a princess due to her family's opulence, and was treated in a similar way by Sebastian, although for a good while he was unaware of the money she was set to inherit upon her father's passing. When Mirabella was still a quickening within her mother, Avis confessed about her wealth, and was promptly wed by Sebastian at a modest ceremony.

Mirabella's birth was a difficult one, and afterwards Avis decided to abandon her career as a dancer to focus upon her daughter's upbringing. The choice of Mirabella's name was a point of contention between the pair. Sebastian wanted a simple name for his daughter, and he suggested simple names, like that of his aunts Mary, Melanie, and Maria, but Avis wished for her daughter to stand out more, suggesting a myriad of names from her homeland. After some time, the two decided to name their daughter a portmanteau of both of her grandmothers' names, Myra and Isabella. Upon writing their choice down, "Myrabella", they quickly revised it to the more pleasant appearing Mirabella.

Sebastian stayed on at the hospital, eventually settling in as a nurse. With both her parents being studious types, Mirabella was instilled with the importance of academia from an early age. Avis would read to her nightly, and wished for her to have a strong passion for France, and her room was decorated with the colours of the French tricolour and filled with items of the country. Sebastian and Avis elected to not produce any more children, and instead focus on Mirabella entirely. Having grown up with four siblings, Sebastian learned the importance of sharing as a youngster, and stressed the importance of installing the same values into his daughter. Avis had no such lessons, but eventually agreed with her husband after some coaching. As a result, Mirabella never wanted for anything material, but wasn't spoiled either.

When she started school, Mirabella, like her parents, was drawn towards academia. Partly through her parents' expectations, partly through an instinctual bond. She enjoyed physical activities as well, but was never as comfortable engaging in sport as she was when inside a classroom. From the age of five Mirabella displayed above-average talent in both reading and writing, and took particular enjoyment in speaking and swimming.

Despite Mirabella having a disinterest in dancing, Avis insisted that she take at least basic lessons, and signed her up for tap and ballet at the age of five. After showing considerable skills in both styles, Mirabella began to warm to it more, and elected to continue with both of them through the remained of her schooling career.

Mirabella's skills in swimming were first noticed as a child. She was noted to be skilled in water during compulsory basic water lessons at elementary school, and Avis was quick to nurture such abilities, signing her up for lessons at the local swimming pool.

Although her flowery-sounding name was a source of consternation for her as a child, she gradually began to care for its uniqueness amongst a large amount of other kids with identical names. She is usually referred to as Bella by her friends, but her parents are insistent upon referring to her as Mirabella at all times.

Until the age of eleven, Mirabella lived a normal childhood, albeit a sheltered one. When Avis' father, Bertrand de Pensée, died of a pulmonary embolism, his death came as a great shock to her family, and Avis was awarded her inheritance. A modest sum, Avis proposed using it to send Mirabella to a more prodigious school, and foster her various burgeoning talents, but Sebastian protested, telling his wife that he didn't want his daughter to turn out a snob.

When Mirabella's parents informed their daughter of the money, she disbelieved them for a while, and, having grown up a content and happy girl, saw no reason as to why the money should be of any importance to her at her age. She elected not to inform any of her classmates, lest it alter their opinion of her. Her mother's inheritance did allow for certain luxuries, however. She was able to dress in clothes that she cared more for, and she had less stress concerning her eventual graduation into college.

As well as dancing, Avis was also partial to needlework and embroidery, and, unlike dancing, this interest passed on to her daughter, Mirabella often repairs her own clothing, and it was she that embroidered the fleur-de-lis on her beret after a minor tear surfaced on it. Although needlework is not a major hobby, Mirabella enjoys it very much, and holds above average skills with a needle and thread. Mirabella and her mother often spend weekends together working on sowing together, and it was become a regular bonding session of sorts. When buying presents for her friends, Mirabella will often sow fabric images onto homemade bookmarks, thinking that something made by her would be worth more than money or a store bought present.

Having inherited her father's bookish nature, Mirabella became a bookworm from her early childhood. With fantasy being her favourite genre to write in, she methodically reads through acclaimed works of the genre in order to improve her style. As well as fantasy, she is partial to more historical authors, such as Dickens and the Brontë sisters, and their verbose nature shows through in a lot of her pieces.

From birth, Avis spoke in her native language with Mirabella, and continued to do so throughout her early childhood. When it came to learning French at school, having a native speaker for a mother proved extremely advantageous, and made French one of her best subjects.

With two academically minded and highly intelligent parents, Mirabella's attempts to emulate them led to her placing a lot of unnecessary strain on herself. She'd often spend entire nights studying for insignificant tests and her obsession with obtaining perfect grades led to her isolating herself from her friends. Often fatigued from lack of sleep, a drastic change in her attitude occurred. This didn't go unnoticed by her parents, but before either of them could intervene, Mirabella hyperventilated and suffered a panic attack while completing a simple Geography assignment. This incident occurred in full view of her parents, and she was quickly diagnosed with General Anxiety Disorder and prescribed fluoxetine. Having experienced similar situations in his youth, Sebastian was able to relate to his daughter more than Avis could. Still emotionally vulnerable, Mirabella latched onto her father. His down-to-earth attitude and provision of financial stability for the family made him an idol to the adolescent. While she shares more common interests with her mother, Mirabella always runs to her father for support.

Although she is dramatically less anxious and obsessively studious than before, Mirabella still places a large amount of importance on academia, and without her regular intake of medication, it is all too easy for her to become stressed and panic. As such, she attempts to divert attention from her generally strained demeanour through an overly ebullient persona. While at school, Mirabella is much more guarded emotionally, but at home she is less hesitant to cover up her feelings.

When starting at Aurora High School, Mirabella was determined to gather a wide group of friends, and thus signed up for a variety of clubs. Most of them fell away when Mirabella found she lacked interest in them, and only three have persisted throughout her high school career: swim team, debate club, and writing club.

When starting high school, Mirabella knew that she wanted to participate in at least one sport. Given her admirable skills as a swimmer, she joined the school's swim team in freshman year. Both of her parents are supportive of her efforts as part of the team. Even her father, who was never particularly skilled at any physical activity, is highly supportive of his daughter, attending as many tournaments that she participates in as possible. Her best swimming strokes are freestyle and breast stroke.

A naturally talented public speaker, Mirabella was constantly looking for outlets with which to apply this skill. It wasn't until her freshman year at Aurora High School that such an opportunity materialised in the form of debate club. Although she enjoys collating facts and writing arguments, Mirabella much prefers delivering rebuttals and such than penning them.

From childhood, Mirabella found herself drawn towards writing more than any other activity she participated in. The idea of being able to create other worlds and place other people into them was thrilling to her, and she would spend hours on end creating kingdoms and royal citizenry to live in them. As she grew older, Mirabella began to refine her writing style, opting for more mature and sophisticated subjects. Although she occasionally dabbled in poetry, Mirabella found it difficult to provide flow to the verses, and much prefers writing short stories and a variety of prose. A member of the school's writing club, Mirabella isn't a highly vocal participant with her own writing, and is self-conscious about critiques she receives when she does share. This shows through whenever she gets criticism, good or bad, from anybody. If it's good, she'll doubt it's authenticity, and if it's negative she'll fret over any minor mistakes, and thus miss out the larger, more obvious ones.

Academically, Mirabella strives for excellence in all areas, and, for the most part, her grades show this, as she has gained mostly As. Science, however, has always proved somewhat difficult for Mirabella, but regular tutoring sessions have led her to achieve well with the subject, albeit not as consistently with her other classes.

Socially, Mirabella's friendships are mostly founded on a love for academia. Unintimidating in appearance, Mirabella is generally amiable to most people, but tends to avoid those less inclined towards schoolwork. She has amassed a small amount of close friends of both genders, and tries to be friendly with most of her team mates. Seeing most high school romantic relationships deteriorate and not last particularly long, Mirabella has chosen not to partake in any. Although she has held several crushes and objects of pure lust throughout her high school life, Mirabella plans to get her education out of the way before engaging in a romantic relationship, serious or otherwise.

Post-high school, Mirabella intends to immediately attend a college, her parents having amassed a calculable sum for her college fund both through frugal finances and the money left to her by her grandfather. Having applied to a variety of colleges, Mirabella intends to study creative writing, but, in the event that her applications fall through, she intends to take a sabbatical and spend a year in France with relatives.

Advantages: Mirabella's swimming skills and dance lessons have given her excellent cardio. A good public speaker, her way with words might help her to dissolve verbal conflict.
Disadvantages: Her self-pressure might lead her to overthink in more dangerous situations. The potential loss of her pills could lead her to become less stable emotionally.

G043 - McCormick, Mallory[/DECEASED]
DECEASED

Name: Mallory McCormick
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Grade: 12th
School: Aurora High School
Hobbies and Interests: Sports, particularly football and soccer, rock music and tailoring.

Appearance: Mallory is very stocky and sturdy-looking. She stands at five-foot-seven and weighs 160 lbs. A lot of the weight is in her lower half, as she has wide hips and thick, strong-looking legs. She keeps her dark brown hair cut short for practical purposes. She has tan skin, a round face and her nose is slightly dented from when she broke it at the age of nine. She has large, dark blue eyes. She usually wears eyeliner to appear slightly more feminine, so that people don't mistake her for male.

Most of Mallory's clothes are hand-me-downs from her big brother altered to fit better, although most of them still show signs of wear. On the day of the abduction, she was wearing a light blue shirt with the sleeves cut off it and the sign for the Seattle Seahawks stitched on the front, along with denim shorts and dirty white sneakers.

Biography: Mallory is the second child out of five of Kyle and Fiona McCormick. Their family is one which can't afford to have the amount of children they have. They had both Riley and Mallory with no problems but the third child, Jim, was an accident that started the money issues. Once they thought they were fine to have another child they ended up with twins, Caitlin and Briana, which started the money issues all over again. Kyle works as an administrative assistant for an office while Fiona stays at home and cares for the children, and in the past they've regularly suffered from electricity blackouts due to not paying the bills. Currently the family has had enough to scrape by, especially since the eldest son no longer lives at home, but money issues are always present in the McCormick household.

Despite money issues, it was a good home to grow up in. Both parents were kind and loving. The only real issue was that her father could get very over-protective at times and was very good at picking up on when his children were upset. He would always manage to wheedle the truth out of them. If someone was responsible in even the tiniest way, Kyle would find them and give both them, their parents and any other distant relatives or authority figures a long lecture about it.

In the case of bullies, her father's well-meant interference tended to make things worse. Kids, at first, only teased Mallory lightly because her clothes were worn-out and baggy, due to them previously belonging to her big brother. Once her dad interfered, they started bullying her for being a daddy's girl and a tattletale. Mallory's reaction to this was to hide behind her big brother, Riley. It helped more than going to her dad about it, mostly because Riley threatened to beat the bullies up if they kept being cruel, and threats of physical harm worked better than angry lectures.

Mallory's big brother, Riley, was the person she was closest to in her family. Mallory always idolized him, especially in her younger years and after he made the bullies leave her alone, and school wasn't the only place she'd often cling to him. She'd follow him around all over the place, wanting to be involved in whatever he was doing. Luckily for her, she had a rather patient older brother who managed to keep his irritation with his clingy sibling down to a minimum. Riley ended up teaching her how to play football, which would quickly become their main brother-sister activity. Mallory fell in love with football through this and joined up with the local little league football team.

Mallory's father wasn't happy about his daughter engaging in such rough sports. When Mallory was nine she broke her nose during a game and her father's reaction was to ban her from playing football and attempt to get her some other interests. He lifted the ban after three months of Mallory alternating between pleading and attempting to run away and live at the football field, as well as being talked into it by Mallory's more easygoing mother. He is still very uneasy about it. When time allowed he would often show up at football practice and run in to interfere when it looked like she had been hurt. This embarrassing behavior caused some distance to grow between Mallory and her father.

As a boyish, socially awkward girl who wears her brother's old clothes, she was still subject to some teasing, especially once her brother left for junior high. When she could no longer hide behind people, her reaction was normally to fire childish insults back at them. She's physically attacked people who were being teasing twice, once in elementary school and once in junior high. The first time had no real consequences. But in junior high, she bloodied the nose of a boy who kept referring to her as a potato sack and making fun of her family, and got thrown off the junior high football team for it.

She never punched anyone again, partly because she didn't want to be thrown off any more sporting teams, and partly because she felt bad for hitting the kid in the first place. Beating someone in a game of football was one thing, because there were rules and it was made to be fair, but purposely smashing someone in the face never ended with any winners.

Mallory experienced more difficulties with playing football as she got older and puberty caught up with her teammates. As most of her teammates were guys, it became easier for them to overwhelm her in terms of muscle and she struggled to keep up. By the time she was kicked off the junior high football team she was falling behind many of her teammates. When she attempted to join the Aurora High football team, she was no longer tough enough to compete with the others and was rejected. Since she was stopped from playing her favorite sport competitively, Mallory's temper has worsened and her self-esteem, already low from years of bullying, plummeted to even further depths.

Mallory's interests mostly lie with three things: sports, rock music and tailoring. She has yet to learn any musical instruments, but is currently saving up for a guitar with any money that doesn't go towards general family needs like bills. Her other hobby, tailoring, started out of practicality. Constantly playing rough sports had a bad effect on Mallory's clothes, most of which were hand-me-downs already. Her mother insisted she learn how to sew so that she could fix her clothes herself. Later on, Mallory started altering her clothes to make them look less like hand-me-downs and slowly got into tailoring. Although she can make nicer clothes than what she normally wears, she generally sticks with altered hand-me-downs because she can't afford the materials to make nicer clothes.

Her grades are less than stellar, although she isn't downright failing anything. Aside from Home Economics and P.E, all of her grades hover around Cs. After high school she aims to take some classes at community college on anything related to tailoring, but she has no concrete plans beyond that. Mallory doesn't care for long-term planning and prefers to focus on the present.

Mallory has a part-time job as a stock clerk at the Macy's in Lone Pine Mall. She also sometimes offers to embroider or otherwise modify the clothing of fellow classmates for a small fee.

Mallory doesn't play competitive football anymore, but nowadays plays soccer instead. She started playing soccer because her mother, after seeing how despondent she was about not making it onto the team, suggested she try it as a placebo. Though she doesn't find it as fun and intense as football was, she enjoys it and was good enough at it to have become the girl's soccer captain in her senior year at Aurora.

She uses any spare time in the evenings or weekends to either sew or hang out with friends. She dislikes having nothing to do or sitting still for long stretches of time. She doesn't even like sleeping for too long, getting up at 6am each day to go for a run before school or work starts.

Her relationship with her parents remains decent, but she's still fairly distant from her father. She is much closer to her mother and more willing to talk to her because she doesn't overreact. Her favourite family member is still Riley, although it's not the same level of idol worship it was when she was younger. The only time she and Riley fight is over which rock bands are better, which mostly happens when Mallory sews logos of bands that he hates on his old t-shirts. She has a more antagonistic relationship with her younger brother Jim, who is currently in 10th grade at the same school, and hovers between annoyance and love where her two little sisters, Caitlin and Briana, are concerned, as they share a room and don't share Mallory's boyish traits. They haven't received many of Mallory's hand-me-downs, usually receiving Jim's because his old clothes weren't quite as old, but Mallory often helps them alter those to fit better and have more traditionally girly pictures on them, so that they don't look as silly as she did at their age.

At school, Mallory is quite friendly. She rarely dislikes people, unless they're excessively mean. She still hates bullies. While she never physically attacks them anymore, she tends to rant at their faces for a while if they get on her nerves, having subconsciously picked up her father's habit of lecturing them. It generally doesn't help.

The main thing that prevents Mallory from being a social butterfly is the fact that she's terrible at it. This is largely due to her lack of etiquette in social matters. She is brutally honest and has no sense of tact. If there is a delicate issue that everyone is trying to avoid, it is a certainty that Mallory will bring it up. She often doesn't realise when she's annoying or embarrassing people by doing this, or when she's being intrusive and presumptuous. When she does realise it, she still doesn't rein in her blunt observations because she thinks it's simpler in the long run to be straightforward. It isn't uncommon for her to sit down next to someone she barely knows and bring up a sensitive topic, or just start talking to them like they're old friends. This sort of behavior tends to put people off. But if anyone wants a painfully truthful opinion, she is a good person to talk to.

Mallory has no interest in romantic relationships. Although her boyish appearance and mannerisms often make people assume that she likes women, she has no interest in either gender and doesn't understand the appeal of either romance or sex at all.

Mallory can be rather impulsive and has no patience for planning when she could be doing other things. She starts to fidget whenever she sits still for too long and her focus is easily broken, unless she's focusing on sports. As a result, she tends to come to snap decisions about all but the most difficult of things and go charging in with little to no more thought. She often regrets these decisions later, but has never regretted it enough to attempt being more patient. She's also not afraid of much purely because she doesn't think enough about most things to be afraid of them. An exception to this is heights. Mallory is absolutely terrified of heights and doesn't even like standing near the windows of tall buildings. Whether she considers the danger or not, she knows that falling off heights is a bad thing and she'd rather not get splattered. Also, while she's no longer terrified of bullies, she does get visibly nervous around them, especially if they're particularly vicious.

Due to years of bullying and insecurity about not being able to compete in football, Mallory's self-esteem is very low. She attempts to cover up any insecurities she has. This is why she will confront bullies rather than running away from them, so she can pretend she doesn't care about what they say. She will also come to the rescue of classmates getting bullied because she knows how bad bullying can make people feel.

Both of Mallory's parents have noticed the decline in her self-esteem and have tried talking to her about it. Mallory listens and talks about it with her mother, but continues to brush off her father's help, believing that he'll return to lecturing anyone who upsets her. Both parents attempt to boost Mallory's esteem whenever possible by praising anything she does even slightly well. This has boosted her esteem a little, despite the fact that she knows they're exaggerating the praise to make her feel better.

Mallory gets lonely very easily and seeks out company whenever possible. While she's not as openly clingy as she used to be, it's rare to find her alone. It's not even necessary for them to be friends, or even people she knows. Just as long as someone benevolent is there, she'll be happy.

Advantages: Mallory is physically fit and has a lot of stamina due to her sporting activities and early morning runs. She's known for being honest, so people might be more willing to believe what she says. She doesn't hesitate about much, so she wouldn't waste too much time pondering decisions in a situation where there's no time to think.
Disadvantages: Her impulsive nature could easily lead her or the people around her to their deaths due to not thinking things through. She doesn't work very well on her own and, if isolated for too long, will probably break down. Her fear of heights will be a problem if she ends up in a high area, like the mountains or cliffs.

G044 - Austin, Sharon Elizabeth[/DECEASED]
DECEASED

Name: Sharon Elizabeth Austin
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: 12
School: Aurora High School
Hobbies and Interests: Photography Club, Studying, Book Club and Cooking

Appearance: Sharon is a short girl who barely reaches 5'1” and weighs 125lbs. She has long, bushy, fiery red hair that is normally left down and freckles that are dotted all around her sharp, small face. Sharon has green eyes that are of average size and bushy, curved eyebrows with short eye lashes. As both of her parents are Scottish, Sharon has very pale skin while her ears are of average size. Sharon stays away from makeup due to her thinking it doesn’t suit her at all. Sharon has small, thin lips and a small, sharp nose. She has the habit of biting her nails when she feels tense or nervous, which has caused her nails to be gritty and not as neat as average nails. Like makeup, Sharon avoids nail varnish and would never be seen with any of it on at any time.

Sharon hates dresses with a passion and she has a mild dislike for girl's clothing in general. For that reason, Sharon prefers to wear boys clothing most, if not all of the time, as she personally finds them more comfortable as well as less revealing. Her assembly often consists of polo shirts with a pair of jeans and trainers. She likes to wear a red beret on her head and due to her poor eyesight has to wear a pair of wire-rim glasses.

Sharon often carries a Canon SD800 in her pocket and she is rarely seen without it.

On the day she was abducted, Sharon was wearing her signature red beret and her wire-rim glasses. She also wore a black polo shirt and a pair of simple, blue jeans. Her socks were white and her shoes were a pair of simple, white trainers while on her right wrist was a silver watch.

Biography: Sharon was born in Edinburgh, Scotland to Rory and Siubhan Austin, a Scottish couple that were perfectly happy with their life in Scotland. Her father was an accountant for a company whose headquarters were located in Seattle. Her family had a relatively stress-free and relaxing life in Edinburgh that was fairly average.

Siubhan Austin’s main hobby was photography. Throughout her life, she had taken many photos of her experiences and often showed these photos to her daughter, Sharon, starting around the age of 3. From when she was 5, Siubhan shared her camera with Sharon and together took photographs of the environment and flowers. When she turned 12, her mother bought her a digital camera so that Sharon could take pictures on her own. She has treasured this digital camera and carries it with her to this day, saying that the camera has more charm than any other. The time Sharon spent with her mother caused her to gain an interest for photography and she would often take delight in taking photos of plants and the city of Edinburgh.

During elementary school, her parents found out that Sharon inherited her father’s vicious temper. They found this out when Sharon screamed at another student in the school when he tried to cut in line in front of her during lunchtime. This was the first of a few incidents of her temper being unleashed and her parents had to be called into school when Sharon had one of her temper tantrums. Sharon also suffered consequences whenever she lost her temper such as being kept in school during recess and even after school.

Her temper tantrums caused people to be scared of her and Sharon suffered from loneliness due to the fact that people were scared to talk to her. During recess, she normally sat in a corner as the other kids played, owing to the fact that most of the kids in the school were too scared to play with her. One day though, a girl in her school called Melissa approached Sharon and made conversation with her. Melissa was one of the more confident girls in her school and while she was a little afraid of Sharon's temper, she also noticed how Sharon seemed to be alone and wanted to see if she could make friends of her.

At first, Sharon was confused about why Melissa was talking to her and resisted, believing she was just trying to bully her. Eventually though, Sharon warmed up to her and developed a friendship with her. She couldn't help but admire her courage and decided to try and take on those traits and did her best to be brave, even in the face of adversity. Melissa also encouraged her to study, stating that since she tended to be stuck inside during recess, she should try to be productive and study. Wanting to make her happy, Sharon decided to take on her advice and whenever she was in a detention due to her tantrums, she decided to study.

As she spent more time inside due to detentions and punishments given by her teachers, she started to develop an interest in studying and reading, which was also encouraged by her friendship with Melissa, who was one of the smarter students in the year. She found herself enjoying learning about things and started to take time at home to study ahead, which did wonders for her grades. She enjoyed the discovery of new things and was intrigued by every discovery she made and due to her joy in discovering new things, she didn't really focus on studying in a single subject, instead preferring to gain a good understanding of all of them.

At the age of 7, Sharon began to find it hard to see far objects. While she had no issue reading books, she would have to squint in order to see the board at the front of the class and got frustrated by her inability to read the board at times, causing her to go into a rage. When she told her parents of this problem, they took her to see an optometrist and found that she was near-sighted. From that age onwards, Sharon has worn wire-rim glasses in order to help her see far distances. This helped her calm down in class as she was now able to see the board with relative ease.

She also started to enjoy reading as well due to the amount of time she was forced to spend indoors. At first, Sharon read children's books such as Harry Potter. By reading these books, Sharon began to develop a greater vocabulary and began to speak more fluently. As she got older, Sharon began to enjoy Shakespeare and Jane Austin's works as well. Her favorite author is J.K Rowling as she developed a personal attachment to the Harry Potter books from them allowing her to discover the world of literature. Her favorite book is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as she felt that it was a brilliant conclusion to a great book series. However, she doesn't like the movies, as she felt that they differed from the books too much for her liking.

At the start of middle school, her mother introduced her to the world of cooking and encouraged her to cook with her when possible in order to help with her temper tantrums. Her mother believed that if she distracted herself with activities, she would be able to focus on them and calm her down whenever she felt angry. At first, the whole process of it annoyed her. However, she eventually learned to like it as she began to gain an appreciation for the methodology and preciseness that was required to cook good meals and it also served as a way to vent out her anger as having ago focus on her cooking allowed her to forget about what was angering her and allowed her to calm down after particularly hard days at school. Her cooking skills can be described as average and while it is not her favorite hobby, she enjoys cooking and her favorite recipes normally involves fish or meat in some shape or form, with her favorite meals to cook being fish and chips and hamburgers. Sharon tends to stay away from desserts due to her not liking how they taste.

Once middle school started, people in her old school decided to irritate her just to see her reactions, not being scared of her temper anymore due to them growing taller and stronger than her. Sharon realized that she needed to do more and spoke to her mother about the issue. Her mother suggested that she should speak to her father as he had learned to keep control of his anger when he was younger. As she spoke to him about her problems at school and what she wanted to do, her father decided to teach her ways of controlling her temper. Originally, Sharon was not very good at using said techniques and often lost control of herself and forgot to implement them effectively. While more recently she has improved with her anger issues, she still suffers from losing her temper from time to time and has not perfected her techniques to control her anger such as taking deep breaths and counting backwards from 10.

At the same time though, her interactions with Melissa allowed her to join a social group of her own. While it took some time for her to fully integrate into the group, she eventually managed to fit into the niche, so long as her friends helped her keep control of her temper. Once she had found friends, she was able to show a side that was more caring than she usually was with others, owing to the fact that he wanted to treasure her friendships. She realized that her attitude could lose her friends and therefore, she did her best to keep her friendships once she made them.

She found it easier to control her temper whenever she was with her friends or her family. Being with them allowed them to act as the voice of reason and helped calm her down whenever she was about to lose her cool. It was for that reason that Sharon often lost control whenever she was alone and once she realized this, she began to stay close to her friends or family whenever possible in order to help keep in control of her temper. By doing this, Sharon was able to stay out of trouble and was able to have a decent control over her temper.

When she was halfway through middle school, her father got a promotion that forced him to have to move to Seattle, Washington where the company originated from, much to the ire of Sharon. Though she had a reputation in school for her temper, she had also made friends and was very comfortable in her school in Edinburgh and didn’t want to leave all of her friends. One night, she and her father had a massive argument over the issue that culminated to her openly saying that she hated her father and resented him for tearing her away from her friends. Her father said that she had to move to America whether she wanted to or not and that was the end of the argument. Afterwards, Sharon refused to speak to her father, which deeply hurt her father.

Bitterly, Sharon and her family moved to Seattle. Once in Seattle, she realized how everyone seemed to be taller than her and that she didn’t seem to be getting taller at all. At first, she was very offensive and negative when interacting with students and was confrontational with them, which often made the students laugh at her and bully her due to her over-the-top reactions to the smallest irritations. This made it hard for her to find friends at first and she spent a lot of her time in school alone, feeling isolated and unsure about what to do.

After the first few weeks of living in America, where Sharon was still furious at her father and refused to talk to him, Siubhan decided that she needed to talk to her daughter about why they had to move to America and why they were unable to stay in Scotland. Initially, Sharon tried to reject what her mother said and insisted that there was a way for them to stay in Edinburgh instead of moving to Seattle. In the end though, she eventually realized why they had to move and though she was still annoyed, she forgave her father and started to talk to him.

Sharon missed her life back in Scotland and wondered how her friends back in Scotland were doing. Though she was occasionally able to have conversations with them, the different time zones made it hard for them to have long conversations with each other online and Sharon felt a little isolated due to being stuck in America. She spent more time conversing with Melissa than her other friends, owing to her personally feeling that she was closest to her. Melissa helped Sharon keep motivated and happy to some extent and not to be negative and angry all the time and also started to give her advice on how to interact with her peers in America.

Towards the end of middle school, after following Melissa's advice, she started to make some friends who shared the same interests in America. Around her friends, she revealed a side that was friendly and more pleasant than how she normally was. Though bullies still liked to make fun of Sharon, she was better at controlling her temper than before, but still occasionally let loose her anger on them. Now that she had friends however, they helped her keep her calm when interacting with the bullies and after a while, Sharon continued to stick with her friends in order to prevent confrontations with bullies, like she did back in Scotland.

In high school, Sharon joined the Photography Club and Book Club due to her interests in those subjects. Her photography skills by that time had improved dramatically from what she took before and she started to find her own niche in taking photos of scenery and wildlife. While she could take photos of people, she didn't really enjoy doing so nor does she feel she is good when it comes to human subjects. She openly shares her photography with her parents and close friends but is secretive to those outside of those social circles. She occasionally has excursions with her mother to go around Seattle and take photos. Her father came along occasionally as well, even though he wasn't as versed in photography as the other two. She frequently has conversations about photography with her mother and together they talked of their experiences with photography.

After high school, Sharon doesn't really know what to do with her life except that she wants to study something. While her main interest lies in photography, she is not very confident in pursuing a job devoted to photography and the fact that she studied most of her subjects with keen interest caused her to never really develop a certain liking towards a single subject over the others. She is also suffering from indecisiveness regarding whether she should even stay in the United States after Aurora High School as she still prefers her home in the UK and is feeling more inclined towards studying there. However, she is not really sure if the grades she receives in an American school would even be applicable to a school in the United Kingdom and therefore has been looking into the possibility of going to an American college.

She made friends through these clubs and it was only during this time that she had felt that she had fully adjusted to the American lifestyle. She still had her accent however and though she is fine with her friends poking fun at it from time to time, she still vehemently sticks by the rules of saying things like “soccer” and “french fries” as “football” and “chips”.

Sharon is close to her mother due to them sharing similar interests. Sharon loves spending time with her mother and is able to tell her a lot of things about her life and her worries. Though her relationship with her father was initially rocky after him causing their family to move to America, Sharon has started to become closer to her father after realizing why her family had to move to America. While they do converse with each other from time to time, Sharon is closer to her mother than her father. However, she is thankful for her father teaching her ways to help keep her emotions under control.

While they understand that Sharon has a bad temper, they still are disappointed whenever they hear about her tantrums from school. While they feel that she couldn't help it at times, they still believe that she could have a better control over her temper and don't let up with their punishments for her losing her temper which normally include grounding her or taking her camera away from her, both situations Sharon wishes to avoid. They punish her with these methods in order to encourage her to learn to control her temper.

As Sharon likes to learn, she has an average GPA of around 3.6. She is known around school for being very studious and this reputation is one that Sharon wishes that people would focus on, instead of her tendency to lose her temper. For this reason, Sharon works hard whenever she can and always tries her best with whatever task she has been given by teachers and fellow peers.

Sharon is known to go into long stings of swear words and insults whenever she is angry and her anger is normally directed at people who would try to mess with her. This has been noticed by teachers, who have punished her whenever she has done this in school by forcing her into detentions and calling her parents whenever she does so. While her father did teach her ways to control her anger, she has not been able to implement the techniques to their full potential and without her friends, can easily lose control over her emotions.

Sharon has a cynical personality and frequently uses sarcasm when interacting with people. Due to people goading her into having arguments a lot, Sharon has built up a reputation of being someone who has anger issues and easy to irritate. This has caused people who don't know her well to treat her with scorn and either ignore her or even make fun of her, causing her to get angry at them and only reaffirm their feelings.

Sharon is loyal to her friends and never turns her back on them. She will always make time to listen to other people’s problems and is protective of her friends to the point of facing bullies with little hesitation. While she does listen to people about their problems, Sharon does not like to disclose personal information and is very hesitant on telling people about her feelings unless she is close to them, like with Melissa.

Advantages: Sharon's loyalty to her friends can secure her strong alliances during her time on the island. Her small stature can allow her to hide in places inaccessible by other people.
Disadvantages: Without her friends, Sharon loses her composure much more easily. If she loses her glasses, Sharon will have problems seeing distant objects. Her reputation that was built up in school could make it harder for her to find people willing to ally with her.

G042 - Abdallah, Aileen Aurora[/DECEASED]
DECEASED

Name: Aileen Aurora Abdallah
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Grade: 12th
School: Aurora High School
Hobbies and Interests: Video Game Club, Cooking, Medicine, Exercising

Appearance: Aileen is 5'9'' tall and weighs 153 lbs. An hour glass figure defines most of her physique, although her belly contains small but visible fat reserves. Aileen's skin is pale, and shows signs of light acne on her shoulders and arms. Her thick hair is brown and slightly curly. It reaches to the middle of her back. A leather headband with an attached chain and a metal rose is put backwards on her head as a decoration, with the chain being on the backside. Her eyes are dark green. Her face is somewhat shaped like an oval, albeit longer than width. It features full lips and a small snub nose. Her eyes are rather distant to her nose and her forehead is small. Her eyes appear to be sunken into the skull, thanks to the great amount of eyeliner she uses. While outside, she prefers to wear big sun glasses.

The wardrobe is very vast, although earth-colors and black dominate in her clothing, which is very modest and consists mostly of pullovers, t-shirts and cloth pants. On the day of abduction, Aileen wore a pair of tight, black cloth pants, a brown t-shirt with a beige cardigan over it and black boots. Additionally, she wore a dark green, albeit short, scarf and a silver bracelet.

Biography: Aileen was born in Sevilla, Spain, during a family visit, which doubled as a honeymoon, on the first of February 1995. Her parents, Mahmut Abdallah and Martha Garcia Lopez, had a special liking for alliterations, thus giving her two names beginning with 'A'. A few days after the birth, the family returned to Seattle, where Mahmut was working as a successful and popular attorney.

Martha, a child of Spanish citizen, and Mahmut, born in the U.S. as the child of Syrian immigrants, were both raised in Christian tradition. However, they decided it was the best solution if Aileen was raised secular. This was mostly influenced by their liberal views, and they felt it only would be acceptable to have Aileen find her way herself. Despite these intentions, Martha and Mahmut both tried to implement Christian values and traditions, such as the concept of charity. They did not have a great impact.

The first years of Aileen's life went mostly uneventful. Her Syrian grandparents moved back to their home country, a decision they made because they developed severe homesickness. When she entered elementary school at the age of 6, her parents had a new kid, called Aaron Alberto Abdallah. The amount of attention it got made Aileen feel envious of her brother. To win the attention back, Aileen neglected her social life and focused on school. This proved to be effective for a while, as teachers and her parents praised her. She was rewarded with a Gamecube at the age of 9, which ignited her interest in video games. By keeping her good grades in school, she gained approval of her parents, which resulted in her getting all the video games she wanted. In the following years, she also received a Wii and a PS3. While she does have a broad range of interests, she takes a special liking to RPGs, at which she can claim to be very good. Her least favorite games turned out to be puzzle games. The approved interest in video games proved to be a satisfying substitute for the lost attention that now went to her brother.

Due to the praise she received by parents and elementary school teachers, Aileen grew very confident about her intellect. Upon entering middle school, it helped Aileen in becoming more extroverted and in finding some friends, who are mostly video game fans. In the next years, the confidence turned to arrogance, and Aileen's extroverted attitude mixed with this arrogance produced some negative relationships, as Aileen became rather unpopular with some people due to said arrogance.

Her mother, a person who considered being able to cook as a basic skill, felt it was necessary for Aileen to learn how to prepare food at age 12. This new activity was at first only a chore for her, although she changed her opinion and slowly became invested in it after her skill improved over the course of a couple of weeks. It became a habit of her to cook or bake something when she was bored. She came to prefer baking sweet goods, and she is moderately good in it. The products were often gifted to her friends.

When Aileen was 13, Mahmut caught the disease Necrotizing Fasciitis when he was cut his finger on a sharp stone while swimming in a lake. He was at first reluctant to visit a doctor, despite the pain in his finger tissue, because he believed the pain to be caused by a minor bruise. After several symptoms like fever and diarrhea occurred, Aileen managed to convince her father to visit a doctor. After the doctor made the diagnose, she sent Mahmut to the hospital immediately. He was operated to remove the infected tissue the same day. After being kept in hospital for a week for observation, Mahmut returned home. This event impacted Aileen deeply. Amazed by the recovery of her father, and the fear that a disease might be unnoticed by her, she began to aspire a career in medicine. Soon, she began to read literature on the matter of basic medicine. Additionally, she joined a course, offered by the Red Cross, in which she learned basic first aid and CPR. As she got older, the literature she read got more complex and she started to refresh her first aid knowledge each year by revisiting the course.

After being in high school for a few weeks, Aileen noticed that she gained some extra weight during her puberty and decided to start jogging and doing some extra exercise, such as power walks or stretching. She alternates between jogging and power walking. Her sessions, mostly four times a week, usually last one hour and happen in the evening. She manages to travel up to four kilometres, and stays in Seattle. She skipped many evenings of exercise at first, yet she managed to organize a semi-regularly schedule.

Aileen's marks are very good, usually ranging from B to A. This is majorly to her great efforts. Biology and chemistry are by far Aileen's favorite courses. Straight As are the usual marks in these courses. She is a passionate member of the Video Game Club, whom she is a member since the sophomore year. Aileen already applied to various universities in and around Seattle, and was very recently accepted by the Seattle University.

She is very blunt and extroverted and feels the need to voice her opinion on all kind of matters. Due to the constant praise she received from her parents, she sees herself as superior. Because she eventually learned that some people give up when they are annoyed sufficiently, Aileen developed a strong determination for getting her will. This stubbornness caused a great amount of arguments, but Aileen often enjoys these, even if they get very heated. Also, Aileen tends to have a strong theatricality, which she feels necessary to give herself a more notable appearance. It appears when she feels threatened verbally by other and rhetorically more competent persons. Usually, she gets ridiculed for that. Sometimes openly, sometimes behind her back.

Additionally, she grew to be a dependent person, as she is a perfectionist and always tries to impress her family and circle of acquaintances with her efforts. Despite that, she ignores critique on her person. A part of this perfectionism can be seen in her fashion choice. Aileen thinks that it is very important to dress good. This is why she always keeps a full substitute outfit with her, preferably in her school bag.

Aileen has the tendency to waste money and other goods. This can be contributed to her rather wealthy family, which eliminated the vast majority of all financial worries. Due to her upbringing, Aileen finds it hard to accept rules and to treat other people with respect. She tries to be more polite, although her blunt personality manages to shine through very often. Her personality is very polarizing. A few people like her for the direct honesty and the meals she regularly gives away free. Many others perceive her as an arrogant and spoiled child of rich parents.

Advantages: Aileen has an theoretical knowledge of medical treatment, which may prove useful in cases of simple injury or simple diseases. Her interest in easy exercise might give her an slight endurance bonus.
Disadvantages: Aileen has the tendency to make enemies, and has great problems with discussing. Thus she will have problems with making allies.

G041 - Bachelor, Amy[/DECEASED]
DECEASED

Name: Amy Michelle Bachelor
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Grade: 12th
School: Aurora High School
Hobbies and Interests: Watching TV, movies, reading, the internet, art and drawing, walking, photography

Appearance: If one were to hear about Amy’s interests before meeting her, they’d most likely be surprised at how she looks. She stands at 5’5”, and with a weight of 130lbs and an ample bust, Amy has the body one would expect of a cheerleader, rather than a more than slightly obsessive fangirl. She manages to keep herself in shape with a balanced diet, and by regularly taking her dog Sirius for walks.

Amy has long hair that reaches half-way down her back, and is naturally a dark brown colour. However, since she was 15, Amy has been dying it red, the brightness of which varies week to week. It is currently a dark red, and needs to be dyed soon, as her brown roots are starting to become visible. The fringe of her hair is always swept towards her left, and reaches her left eye.

Amy’s skin is rather pale, which is simply part of her genetics, and is common throughout the Bachelor family. She also has dark green eyes, and an average sized nose and mouth. Amy almost always has earrings in her ears, which range from simple stud earrings, to a pair in the shape of the French flag.

Amy’s clothes are pretty much the same from day to day. She normally wears cardigans or shirts over t-shirts, which are normally white with some sort of pattern on. However, said patterns are normally obscured by a gold and green silk scarf that Amy also wears. Amy also alternates between jeans and skirts, depending on the weather. Amy's arms are always adorned with a collection of bracelets, of all sizes and colours. When she was placed on the island, Amy wore an unbuttoned, light blue, short sleeved checkered shirt, over a plain white t-shirt. She had her scarf on, had a dark green pair of stud earrings in her ears, and also wore a pair of black jeans and black slip on Vans. Amy also had three bracelets in purple, yellow and brown on her left arm, and two in orange and black respectively on her right.

Biography: Amy is the oldest child of Karel and Paula Bachelor, a web developer and a teaching assistant respectively, and has lived in Seattle since she was 13. Before that, she lived in a town in Oxfordshire, England. Karel himself was born in Seattle, but moved to England to look for a job. Amy has three siblings. The oldest, Dale, is five years younger than Amy, and the only male child. Destiny, who is 7, and Lilly, who is 4, are Amy’s other siblings. Amy gets along with the females of her family well, but finds it hard to connect with Karel, as he is normally absorbed in his work. She doesn’t get on with Dale, either, finding him annoying. Destiny and Lilly, on the other hand, adore their sister, as she will always take time out of work to play with them, and she doesn't get too mad if they, for example, spill something in her room. The Bachelors also have a dog, who Amy called Sirius after the Harry Potter character.

Ever since she was small, Amy has been a cheerful, energetic and unpredictable girl. She found it easy to make friends in primary and secondary school due to this. Amy has also managed to make friends with people from the popular crowd and people from the “less cool” crowd because of her nature. For instance, she is good friends with fellow film and TV fan Claire Monaghan, but has also recently entered a relationship with footballer and boxer Michael Eastmund. She does seem more comfortable with the “less cool” crowd, partially because of her interests. The downside of this is that there are a few people from each crowd who dislike her because she’s friendly with the opposing crowd.

Amy’s life has been fairly ordinary, with the only major incidents being the birth of her siblings, and her move to Seattle. As a child, she read, drew pictures and watched television. Even at a young age, she seemed particularly interested in TV, which became her number one thing to do when she was at a loose end. As time passed, Amy’s list of favourite TV shows grew and grew, and her interest in them turned into something of an obsession. Her walls are literally full of posters and pictures of characters and actors. Her favourite shows include Sherlock, Doctor Who, Glee and Supernatural. When SOTF was still on TV, Amy watched a couple of episodes, finding it fairly interesting. As soon as she found out it involved actual school children, however, she immediately stopped watching in disgust, and has completely pushed the episodes out of her memory.

This interest in TV quickly lead to another related interest; watching movies. This started when she was looking on the internet for a certain actor from a TV show she had just watched. On IMDb, she found the actor, and also found out he’d been in a certain movie. Amy persuaded her parents to rent it, and was quickly enthralled. One thing lead to another, and before she knew it, Amy had a list of favourite movies just as long as her list of TV shows. A lot of these movies were based on books or things she already had an interest in, like Harry Potter and the Sherlock Holmes movies, but she enjoys movies from any genre, from The Social Network to Saw.

As already mentioned, Amy loves the Harry Potter films and books. The series was, perhaps, the reason she is so interested in reading, as she was given the first book for her birthday when she was young. Amy was always good at reading, even at a young age, and hugely enjoyed the first book. As soon as she finished it, she asked Paula to buy her the sequel. Now, she has read and reread every book in the series. Aside from Harry Potter, Amy also loves The Hunger Games series. She used to be obsessed with the Twilight series, but Amy will quickly deny it if it is brought up nowadays.

The Bachelors have always been fairly well off, and Karel had always planned to move back to Seattle some day. A combination of well paying jobs that Karel and Paula enjoyed, and the birth of three children meant this had to be put on the backburner for a while. When Amy was 13, however, the Bachelors were finally able to move to Seattle. Paula’s company had folded, and Karel had found an even better paying job in Seattle, as a web developer for a large company. The Bachelors were a little conflicted about leaving friends and contacts behind, but it wasn't as if they were completely cutting ties with them, or never getting to see them again. Eventually, Karel's enthusiasm spread amongst the rest of the family. This was a brand new start, and they would be able to see many of Karel's side of the family for the first time. Whilst in the airport, Amy had a small panic attack at the thought of going into the aeroplane, as she has a fear of heights and deep water; the latter of which stems from how vast and endless the ocean would be, and at how powerful the waves could get. She refused to sit next to a window, and read or slept for the entire flight. Whilst Amy still misses her friends in England, she is able to communicate with them using Facebook and MSN, and things like that.

On the subject of online communication, Amy also spends a lot of time browsing the internet. She started doing so when one of her newer friends from Aurora High School, Claire Monaghan, introduced her to TV Tropes. Amy quickly found the pages for Harry Potter and such, and, like the rest of her interests, this quickly expanded into her spending a lot of time searching the internet for things based on the films, books and TV shows she loves. She particularly adores Tumblr, and spends most of her time on the internet on there. Amy often stays online into the early hours of the morning, and while she can do this for several days without losing her cheerfulness, she occasionally spends longer than she really should online. When this happens, she will be unwilling to talk the next day, and can be fairly grumpy. Amy has recently started sleeping for long periods throughout the weekends, which slightly annoys her parents, although they admit it stops her arguing with Dale.

Two years after arriving in Seattle, the Bachelors gained Sirius the dog, something Amy had wanted for a while, although Destiny was particularly vocal about getting a dog. Amy takes it upon herself to take Sirius for walks, something she enjoys, as she likes exploring the local surroundings. When she was 16, Amy got an expensive camera for Christmas, which she takes with her whenever she goes for walks. She discovered, however, that she prefers taking photos of actual people, so has started persuading her friends to go for walks with her, so she can take photos of them in front of interesting scenery.

Amy does rather well at school. In particular, she does well at English and geography, although she doesn’t really know how. She also gets acceptable marks in maths and all sciences. The one thing Amy truly detests at school is PE. She just can’t seem to be bothered to put any effort into it, and normally just stands around, pretending to be doing something useful. While Amy is intelligent, she occasionally takes her PE mindset into other classes, spending the majority of the lesson chatting with friends, or doodling. This has, however, provided a positive, in that Amy has realised that she really enjoys drawing, although she doesn’t enjoy things like painting. She just enjoys drawing small cartoons of her favourite characters. A few, that she is particularly proud of, are on her walls in her bedroom. Although the artwork Amy puts out can be of a very high quality when she puts her mind to it, she isn't a fan of art as a subject, partially because she finds it too restrictive.

Amy is at a bit of a crossroads about what she wants to do after school. She has been accepted to a state college, and knows that she definitely wants to study there, but she's not entirely sure what. For a long period, she was set on studying medicine, but she knows just how hard she needs to work for that. She has also considered philosophy or creative writing, but as of yet, Amy is undecided.

Amy is friendly and confident, making friends quite easily. She can talk about her favourite TV shows with other people with such passion that they don’t find it boring. She can also, however, be very unpredictable. She could be talking about whether she’d done her homework or not one second, then launch into a speech about how beautiful Lucius Malfoy is. This also leads her to do things like hug her friends when they least expect it. Most of her friends are used to this, but she has made a few bad first impressions due to this. She can also put people off when she’s grumpy from a lack of sleep. For the most part, however, Amy is cheerful and friendly to almost anyone.

Advantages: Amy is friendly and popular, and so may have an easier time finding allies than others. She is also intelligent, and could work things out or form a plan easier than others. Amy is used to spending long periods without much sleep, which could come in useful on the island.
Disadvantages: Amy is acrophobic and bathophobic. While she could easily approach a lake, she would find it very difficult to go to the top of a tall building or mountain, or actually swim to the centre of a lake. Amy is unfit, and would not be able to run for great distances. Her unpredictable nature, particularly her constant jumping from topic to topic, could unnerve, confuse or annoy potential allies.

B045 - Levandi, Juhan[/DECEASED]
DECEASED

Name: Juhan Levandi
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Grade: 12th
School: Aurora High School
Hobbies and Interests: School Choir, School Newspaper, Speech and Debate, Book Club, Lingustics, Mathematics, Writing

Appearance: Juhan is quite scrawny at 6’2 and 157 pounds. He has pale skin due to spending most of his free time indoors. He has blonde hair worn in a crew cut which he cuts short every week. His face is oily and is dotted with pimples, especially along his hairline. His eyes are large, round and blue while his nose is quite prominent. His lips are constantly cracked and sometimes bleeding due to his habit of biting his lips. They are also a bit thin. He has several scars along both his elbows and knees due to an accident as a child. His face is shaped oval and rather thin while his cheekbones are high and very visible, making him seem almost emaciated at times. His eyebrows are slightly thick. His teeth are a very light yellow. He has little to no chest or facial hair, but his legs and armpits are bushy. His voice is somewhat high, nasal but very strong. He speaks very fast, and uses slang a lot, although he avoids cursing as much as he can.

He typically wears short sleeved shirts of any variety and color along with jeans. During particularly hot days, he wears knee-length shorts instead of jeans. Whenever it’s winter, he wears a thick hoodie over his shirt. He usually wears a blue Rolex digital watch on his right wrist along with Skechers sneakers. His jeans are usually quite wide and paired with a black belt placed firmly around his waist. He also wears earphones connected to an iPod in his pocket as much as possible.

On the day of the abduction, he was wearing knee-length khaki shorts with a green T-shirt depicting Bart Simpson wearing punk clothes on a skateboard. He had his blue watch on his right wrist but didn’t have his belt with him. Instead of wearing earphones, he was wearing Bose headphones which were a gift from his older sister due to his recent birthday.

Biography: Juhan Levandi was born in Seattle, Washington on June 1, 1995. He was the second child of Laine Levandi (born Eenpalu) and Jaagup Levandi, their first being Kaisa. Jaagup was a journalist in Estonia working for the local newspaper Järva Teataja. After working for 5 years at Järva Teataja, Jaagup quit his job in order to pursue a position in the national newspaper Eesti Päavaleht. He got accepted and moved to Talinn. After 4 years, he became a foreign correspondent and moved to Seattle. There, he met Laine Eenpalu, an Estonian-American journalist for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer when they were both working on stories related to the dissolution of the Soviet Union. After dating for 4 years, they finally got married in 1993 and had their first child, Kaisa. When Kaisa was born, Laine quit her job in order to spend more time with her.

Once Juhan was born, his parents showered him with attention, causing Kaisa to become jealous. She soon grew to dislike Juhan and would often ignore him. Despite this, Juhan still looked up to his sister and admired her. At the age of 2, Jaagup moved back to Estonia due to his job. This caused a strain on both Laine and Kaisa, but not Juhan since he never developed much of a relationship with him. As a result, he never had a father figure in his life and became more effeminate. He also became very dependent on his mother.

Despite the burden suddenly placed on Laine, having to raise two children by herself now, she still strived to be a great parent for them. She constantly gave them treats and always tried listening to their problems.

When Juhan was 5, he started developing nychtophobia, otherwise known as fear of the dark, after several nightmares. His mother tried many different methods such as making him sleep in his own room, convincing him there’s nothing to be afraid of, having nightmares, giving him a nightlight and so on. Unfortunately, none of them worked. His phobia ended up persisting up until now, a secret only his family knows of.

When he entered kindergarten, he became known for his temper. His teachers constantly met with his mother. She started taking action and sent Juhan to therapy. He hated going to therapy, so he started biting his lips and throwing more tantrums. His mother struggled during this period, and frequently tried to teach him to calm down and become more of a pacifist. After 5 months, he started responding and improved his behavior. By the time he was about to enter first grade, he had become quite placid and polite and was able to control his temper.

During elementary school, he started gaining an interest in linguistics and mathematics. He became an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction books and the library soon became his main hangout whenever he had any free time. He also started becoming fascinated with numbers and started excelling in mathematics. By the time he entered 5th grade, he had become one of the top students in his batch. He was known for always being willing to help out others with schoolwork and had gained some friends as a result of that. In addition, he inherited his mother's journalistic nature. He soon became very interested in current events and watched the news as often as kids his age would watch cartoons. He also started asking more questions, wanting to learn more about the world.

At age 11, he went with his family to visit his uncle in Spokane. While walking around his uncle's neighborhood, they came across this steep hill. While going down, he lost his footing and tumbled down the hill, causing multiple abrasions on his elbows and knees. They eventually became permanent scars.

The low point of his life came during middle school. While Juhan had never been a popular student, he quickly became an outcast in 6th and 7th grade. Most of his friends had either moved to different schools or drifted off to different social circles, leaving him as a loner. After accidentally tripping one of the more popular people near the beginning of 6th grade, he became a target of many bullies, who made sure to single him out and ridicule him for any reason they could find. While he was very dissatisfied with this, he tried his best not to show them they were getting to him and adapted to life as a loner. This continued on through most of middle school.

As his social life slowly deteriorated, his affinity for reading and math grew. He continued to spend his free time in the library, absorbing himself in the countless textbooks and novels available there. He managed to maintain his superb grades for the rest of middle school. He also began to write. He'd write fictional stories about varied topics, ranging from short love stories to post-apocalyptic epics.

Meanwhile, he started getting closer to Kaisa. In the middle of 8th grade, he realized that he needed to change his situation and make new friends. So he sought help from her, always seeing her as a quite sociable girl. She started teaching him how to act in public and how to make new friends. By the time he graduated middle school, his situation had improved as he managed to join a circle of friends.

At high school, he started gaining an interest in music. He soon started indulging himself in most genres of music, from mainstream pop to hard rock and techno. After finding out how much he enjoyed singing, he decided to audition for choir and passed. He's become a very enthusiastic member, never missing an audition.

He also joined the school newspaper, being a very fitting club for him considering his dream job. He spends a lot of time writing and editing articles in his spare time. Having recently developed an interest in politics, he joined the debate club. He only considers it a small pastime compared to his other activities. He joined the book club, wanting to find other people who shared his interest in books.

His grades are usually As, although he's obtained grades as low as C in subjects he isn't fond of. His favorite subjects are Mathematics, French, Music, Chinese and English. His least favorite subjects are PE and Science. He usually finds Science to be quite monotonous compared to other subjects while with PE, he has difficulty completing most physical tasks and is often humiliated there.

Juhan grew up in an irreligious household and as such, has no interest in any form of religion. He is quite tolerable of the religious belief of his classmates however.

Nowadays, Juhan is a friendly and optimistic person, and is quite different from the introvert he used to be in middle school. He is very content with his friends, although he doesn't get to spend much time with them due to his multiple extracurricular activities, something which slightly annoys him. At home, he studiously reviews in order to guarantee his future as a journalist. As a result, he rarely goes out of his house and only hangs out with his friends on the rarest of occasions. He prefers to find the good side in everyone, and tries as much as possible to avoid taking sides in an argument. While Juhan still tries to help his fellow classmates as much as possible, when it comes to bullying, he prefers being a bystander, scared to repeat the same situation he went through in middle school. If confronted with any favors, he'll comply immediately, being scared to make any enemies or make anyone angry. When it comes to personal arguments or disagreements, he doesn't deal with it well and tears himself up about it. He tries to avoid going into the spotlight as much as possible, scared of humiliating himself in front of his peers.

He has gotten accepted into the Washington State University in Pullman and is going to take a course in Journalism & Media Production to become a journalist. While he is a bit worried about being 200 miles from Seattle, he is still very excited, knowing that he has a real chance at getting his dream job now.

Advantages: His nice demeanor and his presence is multiple clubs will make it rather easy for him to get allies, especially among the academic community. He could also become a good mediator, seeing that he prefers to find the good side in everyone.
Disadvantages: His lack of physical strength will definitely prove to be an obstacle for him. In addition, he would be quite vulnerable during the night due to his fear of the dark, making him paranoid and cowardly. It would be very easy to take advantage of him since he easily complies with any favors given to him.

Mod PSA regarding post restrictions.

The game works better (and it makes my job easier too) if you emphasise rather than de-emphasise your PR... this is also a friendly notice that some people don't appear to be making much effort with them, and should do more.

POST RESTRICTION MAFIA - GAME THREAD
Everyone should have their roles now.

- please let me know if you don't.

POST RESTRICTION MAFIA - GAME THREAD
And... EBWOP: Roles going out in order of the list of players.

POST RESTRICTION MAFIA - GAME THREAD
Pretty much as standard mafia, other than the obvious, but just for the purposes of refreshing you all, here are the rules.

Rules

* You may not discuss the game outside of this thread unless it was specifically stated otherwise in your role PM. Though, if you are dead and fancy chatting to me about it then go wild, as I have a habit of getting excited about the goings on.

* Roleclaiming is allowed, but as this game has unconventional flavour it will be of limited utility. I will request though that you do not directly quote your role PM, as I strongly dislike this as a moderator, and it may result in a modkill as I feel it is against thespirit of the game.

* Please be active! I know I stated this in the sign-up thread but if you're not getting involved in the game then it's a lot less fun for everyone. Whilst lurking is a valid tactic, nobody should be outright avoiding posting altogether. If I think you are being inactive, I may prod you via PM or indeed in the thread itself. I reserve the right to dish out modkills and/or replace people if I feel they are not being sufficiently active. I don't want to be draconian about this but equally I want to keep the game running smoothly.

* I also reserve the right to bug you for night actions. If you don't want to make one, then let me know too, such that it doesn't hold up the game. If you do not make a night action then your action doesn't happen, simple as that, and it is also a mark against your activity.

* If a majority vote for a lynch is not reached by the end of the day phase, then it will be a NO-LYNCH. I will try and keep you up to date with frequent vote counts, and I will also do my best to include the deadline/how long until the phase ends each time I post.

* If you have any questions about your role, post restriction, or anything else in the game, please PM/IM me.

* Check out this site for a fairly comprehensive list of roles that may or may not be included in this game. However, fair warning that the roles in this game are not necessarily included as written on that site. My, for example, jester (there isn't one), may not be mafia scum's jester, and so on.

* Please embolden your votes and unvotes, using the format 'Vote: Name' and 'Unvote'. You can include colour if you want to, since it's the way mafia trends on SOTF, but I'm not going to insist on it. So long as you make it clear you're voting I'll accept it.

* Do not edit your posts under any circumstances. If you've made a mistake, post again using the tag 'EBWOP' (edit by way of post). Editing is open to abuse. Whilst I will not be too harsh on this, I will be looking for it and you may receive warnings for repeated offences.

* Once you're dead, you're allowed one 'Bah' post with no game related content. That's all.

* Finally, as this is POST RESTRICTION mafia, the players, naturally, have post restrictions. Please adhere to these, as if you don't (or try to circumvent them), the game becomes a lot less fun for everyone. I try to be easygoing regarding this, but when it's the premise of the game it puts me out a bit if people aren't following their PRs.

Post in this thread when you have your roles, which will be going out over the next hour or so!
