Fallout New Vegas Thread: Mojave, Mo Problems
In FO3, I really, really wanted to do an unarmed run.

So I decided I was going to rush the deathclaw gauntlet schematics as soon as I possibly could, basically cross-countrying to get all of them.

One of them is guarded by a deathclaw. I managed to cripple its legs with a bottlecap mine and ping it to death with hunting rifle/10mm/BB gun (I was level 2).

I mean, doing stuff at low level/low equipment is more an exercise in creative cheesing than overall skill.

KEEP IS NOT A VERY SELF EXPLANATORY SYSTEM.

General Video Game Discussion Thread
Today I attempt to start dragon age inquisition for the sixth time.

No it doesn't crash, no I don't have compatibility issues.

Attempt #1: Dodgy graphics settings caused lag.
Attempt #2: Didn't load Keep properly.
Attempt #3: Messed up on the custom story in Keep, realised, had to go fix it.
Attempt #4: Accidentally gave my qunari horns I didn't like (yes, I am that finnicky about my PC's appearance)
Attempt #5: Realised that I hadn't been loading Keep properly into Inquisition and that furthermore, it had reset the file I wanted to use, requiring me to fix it from scratch.

I AM NOT VERY GOOD AT THIS.

Blood Bowl
I could play casually for a couple weeks but I have to go back to uni after that and blood bowl doesn't behave on college internet.

So today I learned that you can tell Mobius that you're tripping on mentats (which I was).

The two yugikuns have no avatar, and a koala avatar.

There are, amazingly, two yugikuns.

So Daniel from Honest Hearts is legitimately the first time I've been so annoyed with an NPC I've out and out killed them out of frustration.

Weekend is looking good right now.

I'm sort of inclined towards doing a more science fiction heavy setting because I'm already playing 'classic' pokemon. However, I'm not completely set on it yet... mostly cause it would involve planning and such.

Well, there's a certain element to bad boys.

Howdy folks, Namira here with another tabletop gaming offering, this time the theme is... Pokémon!

This right here is an interest check for playing Pokémon Tabletop United, a roleplaying game deisgned around bringing Pokémon to a tabletop setting with fun and excitement for all the family. There are a wealth of class options, a great deal of character customisation and specialisations and stats for every Pokémon under the sun. (don't worry about the math parts. I have access to spreadsheets that do all of that for you). There are even sourcebooks for taking Pokémon into science fiction and fantasy settings - the above link has a page with a set of downloads for all the various information you need - if you just want to check it out, download Pokemon Tabletop United (PTU) Core, which is just the core rulebook.

* Don't be intimidated by the size of the rulebook! A big chunk of it is move and ability descriptions and another section is mostly about GMing! *

So what I'm posting up is to see who would be interested in trying this here system out, and whether anyone's interested in an alternative setting (such as sci-fi) or the more traditional 'obtain eight badges' type affair. I'm reasonably familiar with it at this point, as I've played it for a decent chunk as a player - it's actually incredibly self explanatory once you get underway.

I'd be looking for 2-3 folks who can commit to skype/roll20 about once a week. Importantly this would need to be in the evenings GMT (from about 7ish), as I can't really mess up my sleeping even further for the sake of playing tabletop games =P. Pathfinder would also take precedence as that campaign's been going for a while now.

Lemme know here if you're interested, what times you're available, and if you have any questions!

(Deamon has expressed interest already)

Setting

- The futuristic-for-those-with-money city of Newlake.

Questions

* Where are we starting?
- Unless otherwise cleared with me, you are new trainers on orientation. You've only just received your licence to own Pokémon for the purposes of battling and are more or less under probation as a trainer.

Things what I drawed.

Edit: some of the random 'lines' are paint.net's fault. it saves weird sometimes and doesn't register that I painted over something.
