V3 Read-A-Thon
With how comparatively small the cast was, and how short a lot of the characters' stories were, a V1 read-a-thon would be over incredibly quickly. Could still be worth a go though.

Yeah, I'd rather save the hassle and not get flooded by SA if possible. No offence to those members here who are goons. But there's gotta be something better than mibbit.

Can we please get a server that isn't shit? Default to SynIRC or something?

V6 Siblings
Still maybe.

Maybe.

Momentum
Burn it all down for the insurance money. Fire helps all writing issues.

Edit: But in seriousness, Chandler always had his saying, "When in doubt, have a man come through a door with a gun in his hand" - spark off something that gets your character moving somewhere so you can adapt the story to that.

Write a guy who was very very good at a fighting/martial art (pick one) but up to a year ago was injured badly enough in an unrelated stunt to ensure that he'd never play/fight again, forcing him to other hobbies.

I have an outline in the works for the person behind the challenge so maybe this will help form things up!

Edit: If it helps to know, I'm leaning towards him having been an ace wrestler, in re: specific sport to fill Naft's challenge. Like "two time State champ" good.

Sure! My only concern is preventing the read-a-thon from dying out so that's no problem for me.

I guess to keep this alive you can roll me back in.

TEW
Image wise, we're not dealing with anything too complicated except maybe the renders of the actual wrestlers themselves, which requires software like Daz 3D and competency with setting the models and such. I've put together an example album on Imgur to show what we're looking at.

Both of your questions depend upon the individual company, and roster size is generally in proportion to the company's size - a national-sized promotion will probably be gunning for about 38 active wrestlers, for example, though I think the V1 promotion has more. Female wrestlers and their place on a company roster also depends on the product the company puts out, both in TEW and in general - you have companies with no women wrestling, a women's division, integrated wrestling, and even all women wrestlers (the best example IRL would be joshi puroresu, in Japan, but there's also SHIMMER).

Edit: Also, here's an example of TEW estimating roster sizes for a company, though it can be fudged a bit - note how product and the owner's preferences affect the estimate for SWF, the largest company in TEW's default database: Posted Image

V3 Read-A-Thon
I have to put Steve back on the list, for some reason I just haven't been able to get into it lately and that's not fair on the character or all the folks who can drum up the interest in read-a-thon. I'll keep reading him anyway and probably put my thoughts down on his wiki page - I'll ask for a reroll at some point but I think I might take a bit off.
