Who Are We?
Before registering with SGA: The Lost Season, please ensure that you understand what we are about. We are a text-based RolePlay Site whose aim is to continue the Sci-Fi television show Stargate Atlantis in role played story form. This means that to continue membership with us, you must create or adopt a character and be active in the RP forums. We are not a fan site despite having numerous fans of the series. We have a small section for Out Of Character chat to get to know the other members, but for the most part, we expect that you have come here to participate in the creation of the story of Season Six and beyond.
Age Agreement Upon Registration
By registering with SGA: The Lost Season, you agree that you are at least the exact age of or older than thirteen (13) years. If you register under a falsified age which puts you under the age of thirteen, you agree that no person associated with SGA: The Lost Season or InvisionFree or ZetaBoards and any of our affiliates is responsible for any harmful images, written content or other otherwise that is revealed to you. Should you be found to be under the age of thirteen, you will immediately be banned from the site forever. Even if your birthday is tomorrow, please wait until then to register. We take no chances with this.
Sharing Personal Information
By registering with SGA: The Lost Season, you agree that any personal harm that comes to you should you freely offer personal information is completely and solely the fault of yourself and no fault shall be held by any Administrator, Moderator or Member of this website or any affiliates, including the host company of the website. We cannot control the actions of our members if you provide them with information to do you harm and warn everyone who registers with us to not share this information. This is not to say that you cannot share information in your personal profile, but you must be careful to whom you give this information.
Registered Email
When you register with SGA: The Lost Season, you are asked to provide a valid email address. This email address will be logged with the website and only Administrators will be allowed to see this address. Please provide us with an address that you check on a regular basis as many updates are sent out through email. Also, make sure to add thelostseason@stargateatlanis.com to your safe list so that you do not miss any updates from us. If you do not receive an update via email from us, we cannot be responsible for the outcome.
Since each character created, inclusive of your OOC Account, uses a seperate registered account and each account requires requires an email address, you are allowed to register with your email address more than once. Please keep it to one email address so we may contact you more easily if need be.
If you do not wish your email address to be available to the public, you may disable this option in the Preferences area.
Other Rules and Guidelines
By registering with SGA: The Lost Season, you also agree that you will comply with any further rules set out by the Administrators and Moderators of this website as laid out in the categories titled "The Recruiting Office," "The Team," "Chaotica," "The Officer's Lounge," and "Guest Quarters" along with any other rules laid out to you personally.
Should you fail to comply with any rules or guidelines set out either here or within the forums mentioned above, strict action will be taken that could result in your complete banishment from the site.
