Hex

Name: Hexadecimal.EXE ['Hex']
Gender: N/A
Element: Null
Subtype: Bug
-Passive: Contagious
-Active: Hack
Appearance: Hex's body appears to be comprised of a mishmash of an innumerable number of Navis, smushed together Frankenstein-style in a veritable freak show of mismatched limbs and pieces. It can potentially have any number of arms, legs, heads...even torsos at once, but there are two defining features no matter what body parts it's using. The first is the general look of decay and deterioration to it; humanoid parts will look a bit...dead, maybe even rotted, whereas more robotic, Navi-esque armour will invariably be cracked or broken in places. The second is the matter holding its parts all together: a translucent, gelatinous white protoplasm with nigh-endless morphing capabilities, filled with tiny moving ones and zeroes that swim erratically. This is in fact Hex's true body, which is present both anchoring each part of its ramshackle body to another another, and seeping from every crack or hole in its body. They can form into long tendrils protruding from the core body, spread across the surface of its armour like parasitic growth, or simply pool at its feet. The pool displays a slight wormhole effect; Hex can, at any time, add or replace parts of its body with 'new' (but similarly damaged like the rest of it) pieces, which emerge from the pool at its feet and are rapidly integrated into its body.

Picture

Personality: Hex can't be said to have much of a personality, owing partially to Arch's utter lack of skill in Navi programming and partially to its own origins: an inexplicably intelligent mass of glitched data that infested the 'junk-heap' of Arch's many, many failed Navi projects, and somehow gained a semblance of sentience. Its voice is clunky, robotic, and tends to glitch at random, keeping in line with Hex's buggy code that never fails to resist deletion and potential patch-fixes alike. However, emotion is not unknown to it, as it has been known to exemplify the odd trait that can't be explained away as anything but an emotional reaction, such as sudden panic or fear. These tend to happen extremely quickly, and may very well simply be more bugs in the glitch hot-pot that is Hex's code.

Custom Weapon: Hex Buster
Hex's array of body parts includes a veritable arsenal of ranged weaponry, though of course every last one of them is defunct. Instead, it can simply funnel a bit of its own protoplasm through the barrel, and fire it in a reasonable facsimile of a normal buster; Hex's glitch-ridden code tends to disagree with physical contact. It can also produce a melee attack in a similar manner, using either protoplasm-tipped melee weapons or simply attacking with a sharp tendril.

Charge Shot: Expunge
Hex corrupts the target with a powerful attack from his nigh-endless arsenal.

Signature Attacks:
Signature Pool: (420/420)
Caps: 140 (210) / 25

Name: Infect [120 pts]
Description: Extrapolating off of his normal attack, Hex forcefully infects the target with a sizable quantity of his own code. Given the sheer amount of glitches that somehow comprise the Navi, this can result in just about any number of potential results.
Effects: [80 Null {A}, Break, Glitch]; 3TCD

Name: Overwhelm [100 pts]
Description: Hex creates a bloated dataform using his reservoir of Navi bodies and morphic body, which shambles forward before detonating; the concussive force of the blast combined with the corrupting protoplasm can potentially incapacitate a large group.
Effects: [Blast2 Stun + Glitch {A}]; 3TCD

Name: Regenerate [100 pts]
Description: Having accidentally consumed a Recov30 chip during his 'awakening', Hex managed to reverse-engineer it to force his body into a state of rapid regeneration, reversing damage to his coding nigh-instantly.
Effects: [75 Heal]; 3TCD

Name: Reboot [30 pts]
Description: Hex can, if need be, send a pulse through himself that repairs forcefully-altered code, negating most detrimental glitches he might cause himself.
Effects: [Status Cure]; 1TCD

Name: Converge [70 pts]
Description: Hex gathers more pieces from his reservoir to form around his current body, creating for himself a nightmarish armour of Navi shells and weapons.
Effects: [2-hit Shield, Strengthen 30]; 2TCD

Assimilation.GMO

"Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster..." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Since the unknown days before his conversion into his current state, Hex has kept an internal database of every strain of virus he's ever encountered in battle, or used the remains of in the form of Battlechips. In this GMO, the database gets converted into a list of viruses he can emulate shells of, similar in function to his stockpile of empty Navi bodies. The result is a typically-unsettling mishmash of virus parts, held together via strands of protoplasm. In a strange twist, a glitch in Hex's systems causes his vocal encoders to fail when in this GMO, only capable of imitating the feral noises of the viruses he's imitating. This leaves him forced to rely on silent, text and binary-based communication; Arch can't decide whether it's an honest glitch, or Hex actively trying to imitate some sort of virus-amalgamation.

Custom Weapon: Emulation
As an amalgamation of viruses, Hex naturally has as many methods of attack available to him as he does viruses. His buster stats filter into every attack he does, thus no matter the look of the attack, be it elemental, or seemingly too big to be limited to a single target, it's merely a disguise, nothing more.

Viruses Assimilated (32) (sum of viruses fought and Battlechips owned)

Conclusion.GMO

"...And if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." - Friedrich Nietzsche
Conclusion.GMO advances Hex's glitch-ridden appearance to its logical endgame. Any semblance of a humanoid form is all but gone, the only remnants being a sentient cloud of static under Hex's control. It can pool across the ground, or float as a noxious, opaque haze, so impenetrable it's as though a patch of the night sky has been snipped and patched onto the Netscape. Hex has as much control over this form as he does any other, so he can twist the static into any shape he pleases, though much of the time aberrations happen regardless of what he does. Arch reports that he can hear strange, half-audible voices coming from the static cloud, or occasionally see silhouettes of people he knows. Whether any of this is true or paranoid ramblings is anyone's guess, but as with Assimilation.GMO, the end result is more than a little bit unsettling for the standard Navi to have to look at.

Custom Weapon: Corruption
Just as with his standard configuration, Hex's static body in this form is by its very nature harmful to the touch, literally a sentient mass of toxic glitches. His morphic capabilities are nigh-endless, and bound to confuse upon viewing.

Ego

Name: Egomorph.SP
Gender: Female
Element: Elec
Subtype: Team
-Passive: One for All
-Active: Unity
Appearance: Egomorph, or 'Ego' as Arch tends to call her, bears the appearance of a young girl, no more than 7 or 8 years old. Her body is waif-like, borderline skeletal depending on the light she's viewed in. Her clothing is limited to a simple, sleeveless white dress, with silver rings around the arm-holes and neckline; she wears no shoes or adornments, tiny feet poking out of the dress' long hem. Ego's face is almost perpetually caught in a haunted, deer-in-the-headlights stare, as though everything she sees is far more horrifying than anyone else could perceive. Much of her face is obscured by a long curtain of stark white hair, chopped into messy bangs over about half her face and left hanging over the rest. Her one visible eye is bright silver and plagued with eternal dark circles under it; the eye itself is flecked with tiny strands of crimson that occasionally move about, seemingly of their own accord.

An extension of Hex's morphic pool will always remain under Ego's feet, following beneath her wherever she goes; her extension will always remain attached to him, and when recovering or otherwise inactive, she is pulled into the depths of Hex's body. Additionally, Ego is followed by a large dual-halo that floats around her, usually directly behind her head but capable of moving elsewhere. The outer ring is much larger, a huge, thick silver circle with a dull red stripe running down the centre. The inner ring is much smaller and thinner, and appears as a simple band of silver metal. Faint bursts of energy, somewhat resembling red forks of lightning, occasionally dart between the two rings at rest, at approximately the same interval as the red flecking in Ego's eyes.

Picture
Personality: Egomorph's very existence came about as the result of Hex effectively eating an SP base. Within his body, a massive cluster of corrupted data separate from the protoplasmic gestalt almost voluntarily flooded into the base, just before Hex himself could assimilate the data. Due to being formed from the data of so many different sources, Ego suffers from what seem like near-constant self-generated hallucinations, both auditory and visual. Her consciousness is built from a myriad of fragments of other minds, and while they act as a gestalt to form her amalgamate consciousness, each one can still think individually, with her getting the residual feedback whether she likes it or not.

One of the only true constants to her state of mind is a general state of confusion, as Ego often has trouble distinguishing which thoughts are actually hers from the random chaos inside her head. The only time she's truly able to isolate her mind from the amalgamation is when her Manifest Conduit is active, during which the myriad others wrench control of her body from her and she's left trapped in her own head.

Custom Weapon: Manifest Conduit

The Conduit is the name of the dual rings that float behind Egomorph. When inactive, it appears as a simple halo, the red stripe running through the larger ring dull and faded. When it's activated, the red shines in an incandescent glow, arcing flashes of red energy between the two rings. The arcing power is the collective minds' emotions made manifest; it is not necessarily exclusively red, but the horde is so perpetually trapped in rage and misery that the negative red emotion is pretty well all that ever materializes. The rings can change positions and configurations depending on the attack being used; a standard attack generally involves a forked flash of red lightning. While the Conduit is active, the gestalt mind rises up to control Ego's body, dying her eye luminescent crimson and pushing her sole original mind deep into herself, where she can only watch her body moving independent of her will.
