A Life Restored

Name: Ambar Calmcacil (formerly known as "Darth Ascin") Age: 20 Gender: Male Species: Human clone World: Earth (Balance of the Force) Classification: Ex-Sith Background: Darth Sidious hatched his master plan: Lure Aerandir into rescuing an important family to rescue them, ambush him, collect his genetic substance, then clone him. Said clone was created without the capability of positive emotion, such as love, kindness, or charity, and was a cruel and sadistic face with one goal and one goal only: Kill Aerandir Calmcacil. Thus Darth Ascin was created, and trained in the Sith arts in order to defeat his counterpart. They lured Aerandir to the Sahara, where Ascin ambushed him. However, Aerandir, much more trained and battle-ready, defeated Ascin and left a scar on Ascin's right cheek, one that remained there and became a discerning feature of the man. The two men then met in battle many a time, though time after time again Ascin failed to defeat Aerandir in battle. Ascin even tried to bolster his side by using Cassie to acquire Aerandir's sister Michelle's genetic substance and create an apprentice for himself, named Satsi. This did not help either, as Michelle proved superior to the clone. Ascin even tried several other tactics, including attempting to sway Morgan to the dark side through lies about Aerandir, but failed here when Aerandir appeared and disproved the statements. The result was the opposite: Ascin, who had become verbally abusive of Satsi, finally crossed the line and harmed her physically as well. She defected to the Jedi and Aerandir protected her. Ascin regressed into insanity and plotting to get revenge upon Satsi for her betrayal. Eventually, this came into plan as an individual attack on the Jedi Temple, where Aerandir met him in a duel and fought him. While he had originally intended to use Kayla to channel his missing strength from him, Ascin was instead impaled through the chest by Morgan, who had managed to use Force-deadening and sneak up behind him during the fight. Ascin died and his spirit was sent to the Valley of the Dead, where Ascin's spirit wasted away with insane thoughts of revenge upon Satsi or Morgan or Aerandir; he never could settle on just one person. He focused day after day on trying to send his spirit into the world of the living, gaining glimpses into the world and both his foes and former allies. Eventually, he managed to possess a medical droid. He used this to steal a bit of Aerandir's genetic substance and fled to an Imperial bunker, using their cloning tech to create a new body then possess it. After retraining himself and giving himself the scar that had become a distinguishing feature once more, Ascin set out to get his revenge on the Jedi while they were busy dealing with the threat of the Psychics. Unfortunately, he was thwarted, but not killed; strangely, Morgan intervened and asked her father to spare his life. Ascin was undergoing strange emotions, ones he was unfamiliar with, until he realized that his last body had been restricted and he had been no more than a tool. Ascin vowed true revenge upon his former manipulating master, and Aerandir promised to aid. Ascin then went on to aid the Jedi against the Psychics until they were defeated, and now is a trusted friend, ally, and even family member, taking on the name of "Ambar Calmcacil." He now lives in the Jedi Temple with the droid, nicknamed "One-Bee," and once more Satsi, now named Samantha, became his apprentice again. Powers and abilities: As part of Aerandir's Force energy became locked within Kayla before Ambar was ever cloned from him, Ambar is therefore weaker in the Force than Aerandir, but can be just as talented as the man wherever he puts his focus into attacks. As a former Sith, some of his repertoire includes moves such as Force lightning and Force choke, but he does not dabble in the dark side as often as he used to and, in fact, tries not to unless it's for defense of himself or his allies.
