no don't do it zersch is trying to trick you!!!!!!!

Actually Mononoke is okay. I didn't like it as much as most people did.
Mononoke is good the first time you watch it. It's not a movie you can really rewatch, since its so drawn out.

I ordered it off of Amazon... I think.

It's not a full size poster (I want to get the Japanese print and get it framed - it looks great) but I still love it.

http://www.amazon.com/Howls-Moving-Castle-Poster-PRINT/dp/B00559L92Y/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1320703134&sr=8-15

That's the print I have, anyway. Not sure if the sizes match up.

Nice. I never was one to frame posters but it definitely looks nicer. I need to get some posters for my room.

Also I wouldn't know where to get the sub version, is it included on the standard US DVDs? If not then I would have to venture into weaboo territory where I compare the accuracies of multiple translations and observe online nerd debates over what the TRUE Totoro DVD is. I don't think I am ready to take that step yet.
I would imagine any Ghibli DVDs come with a Japanese language/English subs option. I've contemplated buying them myself but I can't bring myself to spend over $30 on a single DVD and no stores around here seem to have them for any less ;c
so torrent is mah frand

Hmmm amazon has Princess Mononoke for $20 but that still is a bit expensive for a DVD
If you don't mind buying them used then you can get them for cheaper still

Oh, so it wasn't just Barnes and Noble gouging the price of Howl, but the studio itself? Bastards.

Yeah, I've never seen any of these movies on sale [new] for less than $20.

I watched Totoro, Mononoke, Howl's and The Cat Returns with English Dubs. Call me racist, but there's a lot more variation in English voices than Japanese ones.

"But Garm that's just because you're used to those and can thus distinguish them more easily"

I know, fuck it. All Japanese people sound the same to me! D:

That's one of the reasons I can't stand subs. Well, that, and all the guys literally do sound the same. I will take a shitty dub over subs, complain about the dubs, but still enjoy it more than subs.

i won't take a shitty dub over subs, but there are a lot more good dubs out there than people are willing to give credit for.

I'll give you that Japanese voices do all sound very similar to our ears, but crappy dubs sound even worse.

Also while on the topic, Bob Sapp is my favorite Japanese voice actor.
