http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2011/110728_3.pdf http://www.nintendo.co.jp/info110728/index.html (English version) That's a pretty drastic drop to what it probably should have started at. Hopefully it drops everywhere. Edited by Bagshot, Thursday 28-07-2011, 07:28.

Don't see anything on the UK site but 130 sounds about right. They're definitely dropping the price worldwide but they haven't posted it on the European sites yet. |

Cripes, that is cheap.
The other day I was channel surfing, and I came across a cartoon by a similar title. Isn't this about a bunch of shotas playing soccer? |

yup. it's amazing. i just caught up with the anime and i have trouble waiting for new episodes. it's based on a game that is made by level-5, the same people who make the layton games and all of the dragon quest games since 8. the gameplay and plot are really solid. the gameplay is very challenging, and the plot is very interesting and delightfully over-the-top. i really recommend it. I demand better NES games. They can offer me Super Mario Bros. all they want, but I think most people who actually care about Mario would rather have SMB. 3. And DK JR., Ice Climbers, and Balloon Fight? Hopefully the other 5 are better. The GBA games are nice, but hopefully they have Fire Emblem. I doubt they will be cool enough to add Pokemon anything for awhile especially on the GBA, and Mother 3 is obviously not gonna happen, so they should at least give us this.

I see. Well I've done that. And 20 games seems like a lot of games so I guess that's cool. |

I got about $80 off of games I bought for the 3DS at launch and I'm pretty sure that whatever 20 games they give will be valued at over $80 so I'm alright with this. |

This. 10 NES games would be $50 on the Wii. I would imagine GBA games are worth more then the NES games so that makes it worth more then $100, so those of us who bought it early are actually benefiting it seems. |

The problem with that line of thinking is that you assume that you'd have spent $80 on downloadable games if the thing had cost $169 in the first place. I already own like half of those games so I'm still taking a loss here. It's not a bad apology but it's certainly not preferable to buying the thing at a more reasonable price. |
