if it wasn't a hobby I'd be recommending you the $1,000+ professional IPS monitor

but seriously go back to the old 430w corsair psu to save some money and grab the IPS monitor, it's less than $50 more than the one you picked, the difference in color accuracy of an IPS vs a TN monitor is huge. Usually in the US IPS monitors are double the price of the regular TN ones and I would still recommend one. |

From my experience, and from what I heard from friends, Crossfire is pretty shit. Many games got crap support for it(for now at least) and tends to be more problem than its worth. Oh and for the help building thing, it's nothing to worry about. Everything comes with instructions, and you cant really insert something the wrong way. Either it fits or it doesn't. |

every time i've tried to update ati drivers using their installer it hasn't worked and i have to spend upwards of 40 minutes getting it to work through the terminal. and even then not everything installs. it's not their drivers that are the issue, it's the software that they use to deliver the drivers. and i've checked, i'm not even close to the only one that's had these issues. |

right now crossfire actually has better scaling than SLI, although sometimes you get microstuttering which sucks, I heard this was a huge problem for the 5770 but I haven't heard as many problems about the 6000 series, also I'm still wondering why nvidia doesn't include displayport as one of it's outputs |
