Where's the plane ticket to?
Florida!

I'm sitting in an airport bar waiting for my flight to Jacksonville. Going to see the Skins-Jags game tomorrow.

Also, Merry Christmas.
I am feeling generous (aka I haven't looked at my bank statement yet). You'll be the last one. Whats your Steam name? I could have sworn we were friends...

I am not religious anymore, but if there is one thing I believe in, its Karma. I need to, because if I don't, then why should I help anyone, friend or stranger? Whats the point then?

Last night was...odd for me. I went to my grandparent's and saw all my relatives, and I walked out of there with one t-shirt, while everyone else was exchanging gifts all night. The reason why was because last year I was leaving my job and didn't have a lot of money, so I didn't buy a lot of gifts. My aunts remembered that and repaid me this year by not getting me anything. This morning, I watched my sublings open their gifts. Two of them were very appreciative of what they got, both from me and "Santa". The other three acted spoiled and rotten, barely giving a crap at what I got them and jut tore through their presents, already expecting everything they got. Only one of them is really a child; the other two were too old to act that way, and yet they did.

Maybe it was the large amounts of alcohol I had last night, but I was up late rewatching It's a Wonderful Life. The main point of that movie was the fact that George Bailey kept sacrificing and sacrificing his life over and over again to better others. In the end, when he was at a low, he never even thought about turning to help, asking favors of those he helped and saved throughout his life. And yet, they all came through in the end. Thats how all of this works. Presents, or anything, isn't about what you expect, or what the other person got you the year before. It isn't matching dollar sum to dollar sum, or "getting even." Its just about being nice and thoughtful, and not expecting anything in return. And it just wasn't you guys either; I literally went down my steam list and bought any friend of mine with a wishlist a game. Because I know when they log on later and see that they now have a game they weren't expecting to have, it will mean more than whatever they asked for from "Santa".

The only gifts I ever remember are those that show that the gift giver was thinking about me, or gifts that are completely unexpected. I remember tshirts my dad got me in high school with my favorite bands on them before video games and CDs I asked for. And I hope that these random games helped give the same joy that I look forward to.

I don't expect anything in return, just that everyone tries to emulate this in their own way. Because the worse thing you can do at Christmas is think about yourselves. It is not the joy of getting the newest electronic, but the joy of seeing others appreciate the time and effort you put towards them.

I was thinking earlier that it would be so cool if you had enough money and just gifted someone all of the games in their wishlist on Steam.
