I drove alone. God driving is boring. Parking on ice (due to an entirely ice covered parking area) is no fun either.

I don't find it so boring.

High speed turnings! >.>

BTW, almost 1 year after getting mine, I'm going to the campus by car for the 1st time.

Do you have your own car or are you sharing with your family?

Sounds like someone needs a pedal to the metal driving mix CD.

Yeah, some driving music might help alleviate your boredom, unless you prefer silence whilst driving like my mum used to.

Practically every driver in the Netherlands drives a manual transmission car. Whilst you can get a license which limits you to driving a car with an automatic gearbox, by default people are tested for driving stick. I'd say about 99% of all people do. The one percent who are found unfit to drive a manual transmission car are mocked in public and are declared second class citizens.

lol since when is driving itself supposed to be fun? I always saw the point of getting a license as having more FREEDOM in general. Freedom to go wherever you want whenever you want without having to ask someone to drive for you. Driving itself has never been fun for me

Share one. Although I never use it since I can get everywhere using whatever else.

Except today, so icey.

Ever since I got my license, my mom has been forcing me to drive her everywhere...

I guess it's punishment for 12 years of driving me and my friends around.

I've had my license for like 4 years and have been driving alone for 5.

I still enjoy it, the freedom and the frequent 2 1/2 hour trips to Houston.

Turn up the music, roll the windows down, put on some shades and it's the best.

I hate making the same stupid 3-4 hour drive that I've done for years now. I like being home with my family and here at school so I'd love to be able to just go back and forth whenever I want but the distance is too much and that drive is really boring.

Other than that driving is ok.

Well I enjoy good music, obviously. But the driving itself is boring. The freedom isn't an issue. I've been getting everywhere fine without a car so.

I would love to live somewhere that I could just walk to get anywhere I needed to. Alas I'm out in the country and have to drive at least 25 minutes just to get to civilization. I like driving itself, but I don't fucking trust the other assholes out on the road. Last week I was pulling into Walmart behind a minivan and the dumb bitch pulled a U-turn as I followed behind her and almost had my car buried into the back side of her shitty van. Then she had the cajones to throw her manicured hands up as if I had done something wrong. I rolled down the window and called her a cunt as I trooped on by.

Earlier today my mom told me that if I finished some paperwork she would let me drive her around so she could do her errands. I was like wtf no you can't get me to go on errands with you that's like the worst thing in the world.
