Here's what happens in every single book. Harry bitches for a while about class/saving the world Somebody does something to make him reconsider their friendship (usually Ron) Voldamort and Da Deth Dealers show up. Somebody besides Harry saves the day and Harry gets the credit. |

You mean the part where she took the main character from Dances with Wolves and copy pasted him? |

I haven't actually read that book. Nor do I care. It's a pretty stereotypical character but I still like how she pulls it off. Nothing is original nowadays. How the story is told is what makes things interesting. |

I thought this movie was better than all of the others but I apparently have to go see it again in a few days and I'd really rather not. |

I don't know what books you've all read, but I've always felt Harry had a very good reason to not be happy with his current circumstances. I mean, it isn't exactly fun being hunted by an evil, powerful dictator who wants nothing more than to kill you. If I was Harry, I'd probably be incredibly frustrated as well. I also can't remember a single time when Harry got credit for something he didn't do. And also, there hasn't really been a whole lot of "saving the day" since book 3. Most books have actually ended in some sort of tragedy or failure...>_> Edited by Mehere, Tuesday 23-11-2010, 00:10.

It's "stereotypical" because DwW was such a damn good story that many copied it. |

Unrequited love. Girl chooses jerk over a nicer, shyer guy. Loner. All stereotypes I'm sure existed before that book even. |
