Barcelona won everything they could win last season and are regarded as the best team world wide.
Bayern München are the most succesful German team. They haven't done much the past few years in the Champion's League though. They beat Manchester United (Winner of 2008's CL) to get this far
Internationale is one of the best Italian teams. They have Chelsea's old coach (Chelsea is probably going to be the English Champions this season) who knocked out his old club in the CL.
Whatever the French team is that's playing they haven't done much (besides defeating Real Madrid). The French competition isn't that special (I think it's ranked 5th of Europe) and it's quite amazing 2 of their teams made it to the Quarter Finals.

If you want to support the team with the best player and top favourite go with Barcelona.
If you want to support the underdogs in both matches go with the French and Inter.
If you like ze Germans go with Bayern.

I think Inter is from Rome.

And everybody is expecting Barcelona to win, don't worry. Messi scored 4 times against Arsenal, a team you can't just dismiss, they play amazing football, but got owned by Barcelona.

Ok, some clarifications needed on this topic.

First, it's Lyon the one who advanced to the semifinals on the Champion's League. Even with that, you can't assure that Bayern will get to the next round. Fact not mentioned: it was Lyon the team that eliminated the German's last cup (or maybe the one before that) with a 12 - 1 global score ... so yeah, I'm going for the Frenchies to get to the next round.

Second, Inter is from Milano ... just like AC Milan .. Garm fails for not knowing that >_>

Third Van Nistelrooy might do some good ... But he hasn't that such an awesome job lately ... He could be a great #11, but i'm guessing scoring will be done basically around the Robben, Kyuit, and probably Van der Vaart.

I forgot which team won and couldn't be bothered to look >_> French teams aren't exactly known for their excellent results in the CL, while Bayern is. Though these are the CL Semis, so both teams obviously stand a chance.

After I made that post I heard "Inter Milan" in my head and went to correct it <_<

And scoring? I think Van Persie is going to get some practice as our forward. Kuyt and Robben are usually on the sides with a backing of van Bommel and de Jong. Sneijder and van de Vaart would be able to play behind them as well. We also have Elia as a replacement for Robben/Kuyt. And there's always Huntelaar, he might not get a lot of action, but for some reason he still scores.

Offensive we're set >_>

Ajax - Heracles and FC Twente - Feyenoord in 14 hours and 10 minutes Waka.

Heracles' trainer used to coach Feyenoord last season, but got booted since they ended really low. Now he made Heracles play their best season ever. Heracles is also from the same region as FC Twente.

Everything's going to depend on tomorrow.

I think Ruud was more of a chance of making the team years ago.

Arsenal this year just haven't performed as well as expected, so I'm ruling them out altogether. As a Chelsea supporter, no matter how many times we do incredibly well, we haven't really cemented a team yet, considering the amount we gain and lose, as well as the amount of managerial changes.

Also, I remember a debate me and a friend that we had a year or two back. Who (a year or two) ago was better, Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo? I defended Messi.

It's 4-0 for Ajax now, I doubt they're going to lose.

Still 1-0 for Twente.

I know, which is why I always keep my hopes up until the finals.

I remember the semis of the Champions League where it was Chelsea vs. Liverpool and it came down to penalty shoot outs. I knew Cech at the time was terrible at shoot outs compared to Reina, but I watched on anyway, missing 30 mins of school.
