Also I like it when they show things in trailers that never end up happening in the movies. In fact, I would like it if more studios did this because I'm getting sick of having jokes from comedy movies drilled into my brain from trailers, horror movies spoiling kills or twists, and other general movies just plain giving shit away in trailers. The original Jurassic Park trailer was right on the money. It just showed the water in the glass rippling. Made you be like "oh boys, whats gonna happen." |

i also don't get why for the most part, DC has been sleeping on the movie front while Marvel just steamrolls them. |

Every time they try a Superman movie it flounders. I don't get why there hasn't been a Flash movie by now. I'd also like Green Arrow but I don't know if he's strong enough to stand on his own. I'm also pretty surprised they haven't done anything with Wonder Woman. Maybe they see Marvel drowning the public with their barrage of comic book movies and see that there might be some super hero exhaustion up through 2012, so they're going to capitalize after that. They seem pretty confident having Batman as their flagship hero. |

Batsy and Supes have always been the standard bearers for DC since Christopher Reeve first put on daddy's costume. frankly, i could do without the Flash. he never did much for me, "look at me, i can run really fast!". now Martian Manhunter? that is a movie i could watch. |

I was really stretching for heroes that I felt could stand on their own. They would be better off just going right into a Justice League movie IMO. |

I never watched the Constantine movie and I had absolutely no idea he was a DC hero.

oddly, Gaiman's Sandman visits Constantine in the first book of the GN's and Constantine has to consult MM in order for Morpheus to find his missing symbols of Office so he can rebuild the Dreaming. big pics

I've tried to dissect the Inception trailers after watching them on loop, and have come out none the wiser anyway. A Flash movie was greenlit IIRC, but it's gotten nowhere in production. |

I'm surprised it has taken them this long to cast him as a super hero. He's such a fantastic actor he should probably be working for Marvel and DC. |
